8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
2 corinthians 4:
8 We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair.
9 We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed.
10 Through suffering, our bodies continue to share in the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus may also be seen in our bodies.
1 peter 4:12-
12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
2 corinthians 4:
17 For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!
18 So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.

we here at Greater Faith .. we have .. have adopted the #- hashtag.. faithfoward..
simply meaning that no matter what it looks like.. . how crazy our emotions.. our feelings are.. no matter how many times we have been knocked down..
we choose to.. #1 to have faith in God… not man.. not some person.. place .. or thing.. but God… the creator of the heavens and the Earth.. the author and finisher of our faith…
and we allow our faith to lead our actions..
for the next feeing moments i just want to encourage you not to just sit still and allow life to happen ..
but.. i need you to make life happen....
you maybe wondering … you maybe asking .... why do i need to make life happen…
well im so glad you asked.. the answer to your question.. is very simple...
and the answer is … there will be glory after this!..

13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
1 thessalonians
that as believers.. as christians… as saints… we dont sit around sad and pityfull… like those that have no hope… like those that have no savoir… like those who dont serve the true and living God..
like those who dont know Jesus.. .. Jesus the son of the only true and living God..
jesus.. the one who opended blinded eyes..
jesus.. the one who healed sick bodies...
jesus.. the one who healed desaises that had no cure...
jesus.. the one who raised the dead...
why dont you begin to call on the name of Jesus… ..why dont you begin to clamp your hands.. and give him some praise…
you been laying around watching netflx and scrolling social media all week.. c mon .. why dont you give God some priase… you need the exercise any way… cmon it want hurt you.. as matter of fact… it will help you…

III. make life happen
the bible says in
ecclesiastes
9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.
so in other words its all a cycle.. nothing just slips up on God..
then two chapters down the bible says
ecclesiastes 3
1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
so ..nothing just happens..
IIi. text
our text says. .. lets us know that.. we might be troubled on everyside…
hit by a tornado.... covid 19 .. running rampid across the United states...
you be suffering
1000’s are losing their jobs…
on top of that we are still dealing with issues … problems and situations that we were dealing with before the tornado and covid 19...
but the bible… the word of God tells us… YET....... still… but at the same time… not distressed.... we are not impoverished.... we are not deprived of our strength...
maybe toilet paper.... but not our strength…
my brothers ..my sisters… we are not .. distressed.. because the joy of the lord is our strength..
we are not in despair.. .. it may seem like your being persecuted.... .. cast down.....but let me remind you.. you are not forsaken…neither have you been destroyed..
the bible says
15 All of this is for your benefit. And as God’s grace reaches more and more people, there will be great thanksgiving, and God will receive more and more glory.
somebody shout .. GLORY!
THERE WILL BE GLORY AFTER THIS...
12 Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you.
13 Instead, be very glad—for these trials make you partners with Christ in his suffering, so that you will have the wonderful joy of seeing his glory when it is revealed to all the world.
my sister and brothers… now is the time .. to stop buisness as usual and begin to seek Gods face… now is the time turn from our wicked ways ..
wicked .. because the bible says
isaiah 55:
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, Neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are my ways higher than your ways, And my thoughts than your thoughts.
..
now that .. God has eliminated our excuse .. that we dont have time to pray… we dont have time to study.. we dont have time to fast…
since God has staegicly allowed us to have more than enough time… let us begin to pray. and give him glory… for who he is… and for wha the has done..
cmon give him glory..

truth be told.. before the shut down.. alot of us were jsut so busy.. that we lost focus on what was most important..
many of us.. said.. this decade was not going to be like the last… many of us cried out to God and said God give me another chance..
now that God has given us time off… whether by choice or by force… let us not waste it..
lets prepare for whats to come...
lets recommitt to God… put him first again… and when you do .. everything else will begin to fall in place..
if you have chlidren.. family.. spend time with them
if you dreams and goals begin to write .. the vision.. ask God for wisdom and direction..
where you are right now.. is not the end.. of you.. ..but let it be the beginning..
