The Man Thrown Out

The blind, healed by Jesus man was taken to the pharisees to tell his testimony
consequently being thrown out of the temple
Jesus Looked for the man
John 9:35 AV
Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God?
Son of God = Messiah
When our Christian witness separates us from others it brings us closer to Jesus
This man has gone from being a blind beggar, to receiving sight, now thrown out of the temple, the only place to worship God
rejected by the religious people, by his country
He cannot come and sacrifice for his sins
cannot come to God
because he has been kicked out of the temple
Its at this time he needs Jesus,
religion has failed this man
This mans salvation, and ours is based on a relationship with Jesus
He has already been obedient to Jesus by going to the pool and wash--
some have mistaken their obedience to Jesus teachings and think they are saved
Talking to a young boy about salvation. according to his parents he was saved because his church..
has people come down front and say a prayer, raise their right hand and pledge allegiance to Jesus
but talking with him he disclosed that he did not believe. nor dint know if he could. this boy has been deceived into a false relationship with Jesus
experiences, following Jesus, obeying His teachings, or His commands does not save
maybe like this man you have suffered for Christ.
And so Jesus finds him and asks...

Do You Believe?

John 9:36–37 AV
He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him? And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee.
Do you trust Jesus? Believe on?
Jesus who is God. that died a sinless life as the perfect sacrifice. in our place
The only way to God Heaven
John 14:6 AV
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Acts 4:12 AV
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
There are not many roads to heaven
Jesus is the only way
universal religion is from satan to deceive
not even believing in God the Father gets you into Heaven
John 9:38 AV
And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him.
This man believed

For Judgement

John 9:39 AV
And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.
When you are confronted by Jesus. Hear about Jesus.
And there is nothing to admire, love,
There is no conviction of sin, nothing to respond to
That person is passing judgement on himself.
This blind man perceived in Jesus as someone who could heal him
the response is, that he went and washed
Later believed
John 3:16–18 AV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Judgement is on the heads already to those who don’t put their trust in Jesus
These spiritual leaders, because of their refusal to believe
their trusting in religious duties, rites, and their self righteousness.
Judgement has been served and are found guilty,

But

its not to late
Judge your self now
Before the Judgement is taken out of your hands
And the judge of this world sits on the bench
John 9:39 AV
And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.
The judgement of the world is not yet
Acts 17:31 NKJV
because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.”
The account reveals the character of the Pharisees
John 9:40–41 AV
And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also? Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.
they have no sense of need of salvation
by their own standards they are ok Righteous before God
These men thought they could see spiritually
what they were doing was good
and the teaching of Jesus was foolishness in their eyes
and with the knowledge they had they should have accepted Jesus
but they did not, so they were blind
did not want to listen
Romans 10:1–4 AV
Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
Romans 10:9–13 AV
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
now is the time for salvation
For the believer already
lets continue in Romans 10
Romans 10:14–15 AV
How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
