Is up in 3 to good thank you. Today. We're going to be in Matthew 17 24 through 27 little bit in the King James little bit in the living the New Living Testament and LT New Living Translation translation translation teaching through that. So, I wonder what clever acronym he's got right now in the hand is worth two in the mouth you eat your fish in the hand is worth two in the mouth. I'm super fond of this of this part in here. Why because it's like crazy is crazy there coins in a fish mouth, you know, and Jesus knows it. Oh Jesus. I just don't feel like he's here. They knew that there were coins in a fish mouth, you know, think about it to pay the temple tax. You don't we'll talk about that here in a minute, but I just love this part because he is so Supernatural anytime I get to the and forgive me but I had pity parties from time to time you guys had that. Oh, woe is me another times and there is woe is you there's no getting around it. There's sometimes I'm just looking for attention, you know, Jeremiah Jeremiah Jeremy if you're watching on telling your story bro, one day he was he was working out here and he got a he poked his finger with a sticker that you didn't know that your fingertips are kind of sensitive you diabetes folks, you know that even more so but he poked his finger with the sticker and he comes up to me and he's holding his finger at his got the drop of blood on it. So I took a picture of it. I said dude, there's people losing their arms today. There's people that are being held in flexplate a sex slave traffic, you know, there's there's people that just got burnt and melt up an auto accident and he's just good. He looked at me like falling look on his face and Jeremy's gift is like empathy and he's like, yeah. Thanks a lot pass today for your lack of empathy Body by Syd that same picture to just thinking about you brother and he was like SMH, you know, whatever whatever but let's see what we come up with Father. Thanks for your word. We know it goes out and does what it's supposed to do and we're here to to hear about that. We pray it in your name Amen in KJV Matthew 17 24 through 27 when they had come to capernium and that's the disciples those who received the temple tax came to beat her and said does your teacher not pay the temple tax? She said yes. You want me to come into the house Jesus anticipated him? That's Peter saying what do you think Simon from from whom do the kings of the Earth take Customs or taxes from their sons or from strangers Peter said to him from strangers and Jesus said to him then the sun's the sons are free never less less nevertheless lest. We offend them go to the Sea cast in a hook take the and when you have opiates usually take the first fish that comes up when you've opened its mouth. You will find a piece of money take that and give it to to them for me and you that crazy now, I do like the New Living Translation know cuz when it talks about a kingdom in a king and then just strangers then I'll Tia's put it in those who have conquered and you know, my brain needs to have that. It's like we think are just strangers with some person on the street and it's like knowing you're talkin about a king in his kingdom. People in his kingdom which are the conquered people. So is his Temple Tech it it sounds like some legal stuff in it and it can be but it was also put forth. Do you have Exodus 30 in the NLT Exodus 30 13 through 14. I don't think I sent that to you apologize to me Exodus 35 30 13 to 14. I think I'm going by the way those are not the right scripture. So don't write them. You can get rid of that screen next to do Saturday. We have it on screen 13 and 14 NLT. So each person who is counted must give a small piece of silver as a sacred offering to the Lord. This payment is half a shekel based on the sanctuary check shekel, which equals 24 oz all who have reached their 20th birthday must give the sacred offering to the Lord give a 20 garage the shackle half-shekel for your annual Temple tax. Now that would have been about almost two days wages. Annually. So once you hit the magic number 20 You pay the temple tax. What was the temple tax for it took care of the temple the needs of the temple, you know, you kind of see that in your giving hear some of you give with cash. Most of you do till whatever it is. I say cash representative of credit check debit card. Ali velshi could be PC and get all of me. But anyway is you pay cashier right? Tell me you don't have the cash and you put in your time. You know, I don't care these things are between you and God. Yeah, I know that you guys probably so you've been with us a long time. No there from day one. We never set aside time for offering why I don't want to I don't want play Thumpers. And by the way, it's hard to do a debit card unless we're passing around the phone with the with the thing on we're just going to do that the boxes in the back. It's online. You know, what to do is between you and God, you know, we're going to continue with the word yada yada yada. We we we anticipate that the Lord is working through you in those types away and you don't want to know something we have never lacked here. We have never lacked here. Will the parking lot looks like red. Yeah. We know what we got some How do you retrieve a dad sidewalk and grass looks a lot better than it did a couple years ago? And there's a lot of new that we paid cash on the Fly. Thank you. Thank you for giving to the church here. Thank you for giving that we can continue to get online and and do things, you know by the tent covers so that we can have a little kids being able to be outside until we can figure out how to do kids ministry. By the way. Thank you for pausing will will have the concessions open. Hopefully next week in somebody to man them to make your coffee for you and hand you your snacks Etc. You had to pay that Temple tax when you were 20, you know who had to pay. The Strangers, you know, I'm not the King sons. The Kane sons did not have to pay, you know, just everybody else it would have been the ones receiving it really is there. But yeah, you you would have that I guess it's the price of ownership. It was kind of interesting. I was reading an article and forgive me. If this is untrue, please somebody fact check I didn't get the time for it. But my understanding is that in the FED Senate and House that you're one term you get a lifetime retirement or something like that. You don't have to use the same you don't have to use the same Healthcare that everybody else has you have your own pension plans and their kids don't have to pay for college or get this stuff waves. I'm like I'm running for office. You know, how is meant to be set up a kind of look at it if that's accurate. And by the way anybody online if you know of something differently, please Rectify that it is kind of a hearsay, but you know Jesus Paid the temple tax Jesus Paid was interesting about it is who do they ask? They asked Peter like why I know why didn't you because they couldn't come to Jesus so often they knew that you did and what not and I I just can't help but think like it's interesting that they didn't confront Jesus instead. They went to Peter and what I like about Peter you so often to have the foot to mouth disease. But again, we see him actually confident in knowing that the Lord is going to do the right thing whether it's because he's been with them and just knows how Jesus operates or he he answered for the Lord and I I C A Reed into that have like we as God's kids given the authority of Jesus to be able to speak on his behalf. Absolute. Some people might have a hard time with that by the way, I am challenge with that but I see that right there. Jesus did not review Peter for saying yep. He's going to pay it. Now. The thing is it's like when we first set up the church, I watched how some of the parishioners would manipulate my pastor's wife to get to him. And I said from day one if you have something to say to me. Anjali and we'll talk directly. I know you built up for two or three weeks to have to say it so watch your delivery, but but come in and sit down and talk do not use my wife as bait to get to me don't if you have something to gossip about that. You're looking for horizontal Justice instead of going to somebody else with your gossip come directly to me. Believe me. I hear it all day long. I got them out an earful this morning from a multitude of people about the whole matchking belief of should we even thermit thermograph people doesn't matter. This is how we're going to operate here and you're going to see why even more so in this, you know, but what I found intriguing what I found intriguing was that the sons are free from that. He said the sun's now this is kind of a bit of a launch out. That's not the context of this but it made me start thinking about what Freedom that we have. You know, we are Sons Sons meaning Brethren Brethren meaning mankind all of us. So he heard me saying you Sons Brethren Christian them that men and women children and in the above all specifically speak to you women this men that so if I say, dude y'all Sons it it's all the same. We are we have such Freedom we have such freedom. I want to recap just real quick. The sun's part in the Beatitudes in Matthew 5 and 3 and I believe I'm in nkjv hear Jesus and he's first on the scene after being tempted in the desert is on the mountains. He's got in the boys told him to come along and here we are blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of God again for for references is I am teaching it here that blessed is poor in spirit is the person that does not know the Lord they are poor in spirit. And they're giving a hope. It says for theirs is the kingdom of God. That's the direction. Why because they have a place to go. They already know where they're not blessed are those who mourn for they will be comforted their morning over Stanislas you look at Romans 6:23. You don't board it yet. You look at Romans 6:23 the wages of sin is death. That's 10 has caused that caused death their morning that laws but look at this blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the Earth make it is is not an exact definition, but it really alludes to strength of your body under control. Your wanton desires are now under control that meeting. This is your under control. Now, you know and instead of the antithesis of Meek would be wild Meek is not weak. Weak. If you think me cuz some of the sissy boy or sissy girl sucking their thumb sorry Jeremy He's not a sissy boy. He grows a great beard too. By the way. I forget the name of it. But if Jesus is more of a manly man and why he was able to sneak out cuz in my head, I like to think like sneaking ninja Jesus, you know, they wanted to get him in all the time. But I kind of love that he could blue-collar guy Carpenter or you know, just what we would think as a right on cuz that's what they had to work with III love the idea of him being Meek as being like you guys have been around those people write like they are they're built their tough date. They can lift a lot. That is the work. Jesus was in we always see him portrayed. Yeah, we always see him portrayed the north stone or any of that, you know, his hands would have been callous. So he was I view him as something is like this gentle giant and I actually really appreciate that they portray him that way because Tamia gives a better picture of meekness because he had stray If you had ability and he had the strength to withhold it absolutely and you know what when you have that meekness it says for male inherit the earth, you know, when you have things under control your life looks different when you're living like spastic meaning that you're kind of off-key and you're just doing things for heart and you know that there's not an emotion that I trust. I'm not a big emotions guy cuz I don't trust the origins of them because the heart is desperately wicked who can trust and who can know it right but I like that this meeting is our under control and it's giving a plan after its blessed are those now watch this after they're under control they hunger and thirst for righteousness blessed are those cuz that's what they're hungering for right for they shall be filled you hunger and thirst for righteousness. Boom. You're going to get it you're going to full and that when you're filled with righteousness. Guess what you display the first attribute of God, which we think is love and it its Moorings are but is to be merciful. Giving giving somebody not what they deserve but love instead, right and so a blessed blessed are the merciful for they left pain Mercy to be able to pour more blessed are the pure of heart. Now you been living for the Lord. Now, you have the merciful heart the pure of heart for they will see God you'll see the attributes of God because you don't have these in toxicas. Here's the one that kind of stood out. Once you do the things of God. Once you're living with God once you're acting like God once you have his attributes and you see you will help people make peace with God and that's the context of blessed are the peacemakers is helping Folks by the power of the Holy Spirit by the word of God by prayer Fellowship all the above to bring them to the understanding of God and this sounds quirky but understand that you're the only Jesus they know until they know Jesus now when I say that I'm saying the attributes of Jesus because you're living a life that looks like Christ. You know, you're living a life that looks like right now watch this blessed are the peacemakers for they shall that's a promise be called sons of God. Do you understand when you're a Son of God you're acting like the Son of God willing to put your life on the line that others may come to know. You don't think that that's the case read the next one blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake that's the well living with other men and women for theirs is the kingdom of God, you're already there. You're already owning it you're going to get persecuted. There's they're pouring good in this whole thing and watch this when you don't think you're living a Godly life isn't going to be even more so blessed when they revile you and persecute you and say all kinds of evil things against you falsely for my sake and rejoice and be exceedingly glad for great is your reward in heaven for they persecuted the prophets who were before you so you back to verse 9 blessed are the peacemakers for they shall become sons of God and using that kind of tagline. The sons are free. The penalty, you know, that's kind of cool because when you look at it, I don't know if I have Romans 6:23. Do you have that back their thumbs up down? So if we do it's on their Roman 6 2-3 and foot look here says for the wages of sin is death. But the gift of life is eternal life in Christ Jesus, right? When you're free, you're free for the death of sin you no longer are bound to that kind of death. Someone pays it though. Somebody face it the people around you or the first ones that that I can think of, you know, so I'm when you're free from the entrapments of sin and that's no longer holding you down you understand how freeing that is you look at somebody you watch come in next week. You're going to see if we're going to set up the water tank right here and you're going to see what relief looks like to the believer. When they give their life over to the Lord, I'm sorry and two weeks 3 weeks ago, but it was over about a 10-day period. And it wasn't the work I did. I just got to the Harvest. I just showed up with bringing in the sheaves bring it in you and I had this already deal with some of the of Like Somebody lyrics can we do that? Can we do that to catch that? Yes, we can can we do that? Yes, we can build in the house. Right? I love that that when you're free, you're not dead to send your free from that. You guys know what it's like when you dabble in sin as as a righteous person righteous meaning the attributes of God, right living among others around you when you're living in the absence of a righteous life and others are in in view of that obviously in the Holy Spirit on always is in view, you know the death of it feels and there is a a different application in this the coward dies a thousand deaths the Valiant dies, but one I don't want to die a thousand are the subsets I'm taking this out of Shakespeare's out of that context. I don't take that out of that context and in doing so I don't want to die a thousand deaths of sin because of the wages of death is sin. You know and but I love in this if you can please board that again what I love in this again it says but is there a butt up there? What is the bat say whatever comes after the but say it? The gift the gift it is a gift to be free from sin. It is a gift to be away from the burden of sin. Dude, that is the most exciting time of life ever if you can't get excited about freedom. Liberty Look what Jesus did what does liberty and freedom want some of those that like me have a hard time understanding that like freedom from sin? Cuz I really like 1st Corinthians 5:17 of 10 Corinthians, 5:17 and the idea of Newhart. Yes, you are free from sin. That doesn't mean you don't ever fall into it. You just have a new hope to operate from that you no longer are bound into that sinful condition of like, you know, we were if we've ever been around someone has dealt with addiction that they're bound to and they keep returning to it like the dog returns to his vomit. I think it's kind of the Bible would put that we need when you become the child of God you now have a choice in the whole Bible shows this this idea of choice right good for a bad tree. So on and so forth and that that's what I like is sometimes maybe we don't understand me think I'm saved but why do I still stand and it's like dude don't worry Paul went through the same thing.

And this and may never even crop up because you've caught it early or 1st Corinthians. 10:13 means not you don't have it. Don't worry 1st. Corinthians. 10:13 is no temptation has seized me but that which is common to man. But when I am tested God is faithful, he won't let me be tested the are tempted beyond what I can bear. But under the temptation to he'll offer a way out. He will offer a way out. You just have to see Kim and offer just had that gift of taking the gift open it imply. Otherwise they give does nothing for you earlier today. I got a situation I came to bring I like dude. I need prayer now. Because I got to put by the way, I told him he needed it a little bit before then and then shortly after he came.

And here are the times that I don't want to hear that's why it's good to have brothers around to help sharpen swords with each other. You know, you just got to do that. You know, I love in in verse 27 would Jesus said in this Freedom. He says nevertheless lest we offend. There was somebody knocking at the door showing up for the temple tax and they went to Peter safe William masterpay and he says I don't have to pay but lest we are an offense to the way they are operating in their governmental ways as the temple tax Guardians. UC is hard in that we had a pastor in the 60s that also when he did Rebellion he did it lest we offend. Pastor King. What was an amazing individual? You may hear him as dr. King. I like to consider this man a pastor. He had a pastor's heart which was which was pure to the Lord and am cured of his own desires, right you can have that you can have that. We just talked about what Paul struggled with right? No, man, no woman is exempt from it. But let me tell you something if your if your offencive ways or are more important than the gospel of Christ. Do you understand you now Cloud your Witness?

See Jesus said nevertheless the taxes are nevertheless lest. We offend admitting that he does not have to pay it. Right cuz he is Lord of lords King of Kings he at he is the temple he has the exact representation of it. He would actually be 100% right and not pain but he did not want to bring an offense. He his name and time. We all know is enough of an offense. It was not his time to bring the offense, but he didn't want this trivial matter to become an offense. You know about it. I don't want these masks in this body to Cloud our witness unto your Tik Tok your text. Talk your Instagram. Talk your talk talk. I don't want to Cloud you witness because it is a cursory argument. Fall in line and talk about Jesus and the ones that don't have their masks on you can talk about Jesus. I can talk to people that have long hair. I can talk to people in suits I can talk to people in flip-flops and shorts about Jesus. I don't have to be that culture or I do have to be it doesn't matter to me. Whatever the holy spirit is. He is going to provide in the midst of that. Do you understand so far? When you Cloud your Witness online? Are you hearing when you Cloud your Witness? It can't be seen because this thing you stand for gets in the way of the Standard Bearing flag. The standard is the stick the Flag represents the standard-bearer.

UC

so don't let it Cloud your witness Pastor team did not do that. He acted with kingly attributes meaning as of his namesake, but also the King Jesus Christ. His protest is protest wear with sound biblical truth. You go back and listen to those speeches. You will hear the beauty of scripture being portrayed. right There's been an inequality that he has spoken to none more than the Jews. None more than the juice but we have a propensity to be cuddled into our groups. This is a group that wears masks. This is the group that doesn't stop. It. Don't plow the witness be respectful. Don't file the witness either way anyway, and for me like how I do see part of that is like when going to the Baptist Church and having the opportunity to speak their did not look like this to offend them. Did I have the freedom to go in there the way I wanted to be sure, you know, if I'm hanging around a bunch of people rhyme offending them right? No mask. I got faith in God to protect me if I'm hanging out with people, right? If and then we're not exactly You know. Then he would have looked at Christ as a man, but just his his naming of lest we offend he created that which would have been offended. You know, you look into John 1 1 through 4 in the beginning was the word a capital W. That means Jesus. It's probably on the screen for you. And the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God all things were made through him. Those people that you're frustrated with they don't they don't speak the way you speak. They don't talk the way you talk. They don't do the way you do whatever whatever whatever. He made it all man, and it was all made through him and he loved them all and without him nothing was made and that that was made in him was life. And the life was the light of men Jesus had the power to Rain Down Heaven on this little Temple tax thing was important to the temple Tax Collectors, right? And I love that. This is the only Renditions it's written in all the gospel accounts is Matthew go figure tax collector under Rome and self one just doing his job. Sometimes I see that you know, that's why I tend not to get too mad telemarketers or let not cuz I used to be one. It's like me and they're not purposely trying to just mess up your day, right? Well, I love how moving on with this. He tells Peter what to do next right and it's not to go reinvent the Wheel by the way, because what was Peter? A fisherman you told him to go do something at the house. By the way, do we get some sew-in in 25 of Matthew 17. He said yes meaning and when you didn't come in and you don't think about that in the yes, that's the confidence is knowing the nature of the immediate have to go to bathroom after we pay in Temple Texas just before he even confessed that Jesus you are who you say you are you're the Messiah because he says what do you think Simon from whom do the kings of the Earth take customers are taxes from their signs are strangers Peter said to him from strangers. Jesus said to him then the sons are free. Nevertheless. We offend them go to the see what you're used to doing. Cast in a hook would you know how to how to tie it up take the first fish that comes up for the first face that comes up stick your fingers in your mouth and its mouth and in his mouth. You're just being attacked able tax for me and not you. No, there's just enough Temple tax for you and not me because I don't have to pay on the son of the most I know there is exactly the amount of Temple tax in the mouth of the fish to be dispensed. And it's supernatural to Natural to handle something again. It's another beautiful picture of just the gospel story, right? Yes, Jesus died for all sin. Jesse paid for it all. Yes Peter had the opportunity to pay because Jesus provided the fish with the the money in its mouth. But what did he have to go do he had to go do right and that that was the stepping out in faith. He was being told to go do something. He already knew how to do which is fish. But you know, that sounds a little fishy to me go out there and fish now go and you know what? You didn't hear a rebuttal From Peter now go he went and he went and again he did it with in the Wheelhouse. Does he give you things that are going to stretch you first he is but the idea that God will never give you more than you can handle I guess that's true. If you understand that God is going to do the things that are outside your realm Andre can't handle it without God. You can't handle anything but with that but I will tell you right now he is giving me a multitude of things that are outside of my ability. He'll let us operate in our strings. He'll also operate through our weaknesses. Do we go to largest give me the opportunity. Please give me an opportunity the opportunity arises and we don't do you know, we just plenty of times there's so many times. We simply just need to engage, you know, and why do we go to Matthew 25, you're going to have a long one in the NLT Matthew 25 14 through 30 Matthew 25 14 through 3. Why do we feel the need to question doing the simplest things? God I think we have a mischaracterization of him and this is the the parable of the talents and the in the third guy has for me is the focus Matthew 25:14 through 25 14 New Living Translation says again, the Kingdom of Heaven can be illustrated by the story of a man going on a long trip. He called together as servants and entrusted his money to them while he was gone. He gave five bags of silver to one two bags of silver to another one bag of silver into the last dividing it in proportion to their abilities. He then left on his trip the servant who received the five bags of silver began to invest the money and earned five more the servant with two bags of silver also into work and learn to do more but the servant who received the one bag of silver dug a hole in the ground and hid the Masters money after a long time their Master returned from his trip and called them to give an account of how they had used his money the servant to whom he had entrusted. Five bags of silver came forward with five more and said Master you gave me five bags of silver to invest. I've earned five more verse 21, the master was full of Praise. Well done my good and faithful servant. You've been faithful and handling the small amount. I'm going to give you many more responsibility. Let's celebrate together the servant who had received the two bags of silver came forward and said Master you gave me two bags of silver to invest and I burn two more matches like Well Done, dude, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful and handling a small amount. I'm going to give you some more responsibilities. Let's celebrate together. Then the servant with the one bag of silver came into the master. I knew you were a harsh man harvesting the crops. You didn't plant Gathering the crops. You didn't cultivate I was afraid I would lose your money. So I hid it in the ground. Look, here's your money back for the master applied you Wicked and lazy servant if you knew I harvested crops. I didn't plant and gather crops. I didn't cultivate. Why didn't you deposit my money in the bank? At least I could have had gotten some interest from it. Then you ordered take the money from this servant and give it to the one with 10 bags of silver to those who use well what they are given even more will be given and they will have an abundance. But from those who do nothing even what little they have will be taken away. Now throw this useless servant into outer Darkness where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. He is a good and gracious God. He just is and when we get hit the characterization of him a mess will stop doing the things that are of the supernatural. I'm not talking about lengthening arms and fixing broken bones and all that can be a part of it. I'm talking about the Practical things of life every single day the things that we get into and the things we get to be a part of, you know, Mary Lou many times to go we were sitting at a round table and I think that there was a disturbance when I'd ask somebody to go do something and Marylou kind of stepped in not into fence but to bring understanding she goes to understand that when they give you a task to do he's probably already thought it out and is very specific about things. He's going to bring you things that are going to be the least amount of impact right on on to do it the way it says been thought through yada yada. There's going to be other times that he'll just give you stuff that you're to do and why is that because he trusts you very sad because he trusts you with that task. You know is that task fails then I'll put a front if I get a lot of people's I don't want to do that all why do I got to do that? I start pulling things from you and you won't even know it you know it now but I'll just pull things right because you're not ready. You're not you are not ready to to help Under Shepherd the flock, you know, and it's a sad day this like that and then and this this Parable Jesus trusted all three but one had a mischaracterization and he was self-focused and not focused on the nature in the attributes of the Lord this incident that we had this morning inside as for the masked outside is for the sick and maskless with kids and we still like you haven't asked outside, but it's okay either way right there were options. Right, but never let never the less and less and less we offend the less let nevertheless lest we offend them. There was an offense we gave me multiple options and the person wanted it on their terms making the statement on their way and I'm going to tell you right now I've come up against that stuff before I had a guy sitting right back there two seats to the left of you right there told me before Brent was doing worship. He came in and he he came in with a with a chicken and his feathers were all up. He was ready for a cockfight right and boy howdy he says I want to do that and I said, you know, we used to have people come in and sit here about six months before we engage them know I want to do that now and I said we can talk to the worship leader, but when he talks to me about it, it will be a no for six months and then he threw a fit and went out the door. Let me ask you a question. What was that individuals resolve to do harm because he just come from an argumentative situation with his last pastor and I feel sorry for the next one. It's not going to happen that way here. Why? Because we are a gatekeeper of protection for the flock and we're not going to put anybody up here to bring into profane fire and worship. Do you understand? So there is a huge responsibility that that one carries when they choose to get in the ministry that many folks do not way that they weigh the relationship with the Lord but they do not wait the advanced opportunities that are there as well and I will tell you something the joyous work of the now go is so much more than counting the cost of having to deal with trifling matters. Do you see when I put in all the I have a lot of Bibles for the ones I primarily teach from I put that not many of you should become teachers in the church for we who teach will be judged more strictly and I don't think folks always understand that like you are teaching people how to worship. I I know what it's like, right cuz I didn't understand. Cuz I want to let an infiltrate my heart yet. I know people rather be drinking coffee shooting the breeze the worst people make their time of how they get or go from church based off of that because they're not ready to commit yet. And we've also seen the times were you warned me very early on about people just coming in expecting it 6 minutes before I go time. Someone saying hey, I got family from out of town. We thought they would leave work to today. They don't know who they are or where they're from what they're going to be about and as a as a undershepherd like it is very dangerous and when because we don't have stayed up here, I mean these are lifted up for us to sit down in but where we play. It's like it's easy to be high and lifted up with the I will statements that caused the fall and pride is a little bit easier here behind the pulpit when it's one guy, you know, but Worship in particular and it's very easy to start to see pride. Just kind of rear its ugly head.

About 6 or 7 minutes long, maybe maybe 10 because of my diatribe intro and education of the how our operating today. I will tell you right now my goal. I'm not perfect at it. My goal is to listen to Holy Spirit. If you're listening my goal is to listen the Holy Spirit and in doing so pulling the plug on things that need to pull plug on I'll pull the plug out so fast and make your head spin. Why because I do not want to go the route of Eli Eli Sons. He lost his entire lineage because he allowed his son to do profanity. You know, I'm going to tell you this man here the only difference between he and I is age because when I was his date, well, maybe a little younger when I was his age. I had hair down to their like that. I didn't do the tat but my heart was tatted with whatever's you know, now it's it's branded we wrote that song in the Bible is branded on my soul in that do Lord, right? Because it's Bree. Did on my soul just like the brand names of tattoos and I'll and I'll get feedback that sometime negative about this individual. I'm like, are you kidding me this man even produced a bit and that's okay. If I talk about it openly it's not a defense to me is not a pride issue for me either. I just know this man's heart or he would not have the responsibility that he has entrusted responsibility to lead. Where does the council with people to council with me when I need it and also to bring the word of God without that he is not a perfect man neither am I but I'll tell you what, I trust the Holy Spirit and I trust this man as well. And so that trumps every image bearing thing the unity within diversity that Christ offers and and he made everything unique and Iverson said it was very good and then Satan isolates us cuz that's what he does and says, it's bad what I what I love about it cuz I when I first came in took out piercing tried to hide tattoo Why not? It's like, you know what they're not just didn't the sheeple. You know that I had then I'm missing who God designed me to be. I'm not saying he he says go get tattoos or doing that just just going and doing whatever someone says to do because it makes them comfortable cuz you know, what if I would show up to the the skatepark in the suit and tie up in my ability to share the gospel will be damaged there. Now, there will be other people cuz you've been there with us, you don't you didn't come looking like not you so just having that hard to keep up with a false or alive. I'm really not worried what Believers so when people are believers and they're willing to leave like dude today. It's like, you know what you're not the sick person. I'm trying to minister to I know you are bought and paid for by the blood of Jesus Christ. Go worship somewhere else. You have the freedom to do that. We know why when the story I heard was a guest speaker coming to a church getting Receptionist saying hey, there's this woman. This is our life. It was horrible and she was a woman of the world and the his message. You didn't have to change it was going to Taylor to it. So he's excited. Right like this is the reason I'm the guest speaker today, but one of the members of the church seems like a nice pleasant man, and when that woman pulled up in her beater car smoking a cigarette looking like a prostitute Pastor news. This is the woman that gets minister to today. And that man at the door said, who do you think we are we dress up the best at this church. You can leave. Do you know what that woman did? She got in the car and left in that pasture cried right because great for you guys to come to church and learn cuz that is what the church is supposed to do. You do understand part of our making disciples is actually bringing other people. And are we the more mature ones lest we offend someone to be like, you know, what our differences can be used to give God glory regardless of whatever your style is in here. I think we do a good job, cuz I look out there. I don't see any other long hair dudes with tattoos. And so thank you for loving me. And I love you, you know, you know when you do the things of the Lord when he says now going you go you do the Majestic. You do the Majestic things of the Lord it it's a it's a underused word, but it just means simply showing the impressive beauty of the beauty of going and fishing and pulling out a coin you understand that he even knew where it was at. He didn't need the tracking from UPS to send to your phone to know where the package is. They even have chip package that you can that you can track your potato chips. I'm like really

and he knew where coins were not to pay one but to pay tooth because on that day that fish with the yield that coin so that another would not be caught in an offense. And so when I see a situation much like today, I'm like you're living the highest and best you for you, but you're not living the highest and best you for him meaning sold out for him based on the beatitude nature of the individual and I'll tell you I got a little hot under the collar because I saw selfishness creep in not on myself in this case are the other individual wanting to bring harm to the people that I hold dear, you know, and that's just that's just not going to happen. I just can't see it. So there's a Ministry tax. That was to be paid. And he went out and got that money. Can you imagine what it was? Like what type of fleet-of-foot he would have been coming home with that Temple tax money. He went to do like you said something that was in his wheelhouse he went to do something that God put you gives you things that you're comfortable with right he put you in your wheel in your wheelhouse you go get the thing, you know how to do and you get to see the Majestic how beautiful that is. It's like it's like being told bro go skating today and you will get to leave someone to the Lord go shooting at the whatever place you will go meet someone real or go play basketball. You will go get to lead someone to the Lord. That's really cool. And what I love about that is the holy spirit doing his work in these types of things. So Isaiah 55 8 through 9 New King James. He's next to I got it on the board for you. I think I look we don't do Who sings because we had we don't do things because we don't see with his eyeballs. We have people in this not God lenses and it says for my thoughts are not your thoughts nor are your ways my ways says the Lord for as the heavens are higher than the earth. So are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts. Is there a subordinate issue in this? Yes. Is there a submitting issue in this absolutely, but if his thoughts and his ways are higher and he knows more don't think you will learn from and do like them, you know, so that's where the now go hat you don't see Peter rebelling entry budding and you do imagine because we don't have tax for it what it would be like to have that think I'm cool. I know you are working for the Lord for the first time and you're starting to see I love when I get your stories, you'll call me and tell me something that happened and you're so excited about what went down. You're so excited and you I want to go do this again. Welcome in bro. Now you're now your crush and it will come in but you know something when we do things of our own regard you go to Isaiah 64. 6, but we are all unalike and unclean thing and all our righteousness are like filthy rags. We all fade as a leaf in our iniquities like the wind has taken us away. See you. Look how do you feel how that kind of it's almost like a little depressing thing to say, but when you're looking at the former Isaiah, if you want to pop back to that, please man, that's just like when they know it's not just me it's him so we get to do things for him. And I love this word spiritually resplendent. I love that because the spiritually changes it. It means richly colorful which is attractive, you know, but the spiritually rich and attractive things of the Lord brings that term resplendent and you get to be a part of that when you're doing the matters and the things of the Lord and it's so much fun. So in summary Jesus is not only covered his own Temple tax as to not be an offense to somebody and by the way, he could have gone. Like that and made something happen at the sound of his voice and he didn't he was under control the meekness in him knowing the power and the strength and all the above was already present there. He's got obviously right but he he did that he knew exactly where the fish was for that time and he said it the first he going to say get the 7th fished for the 32nd. He said go and whatever. The first thing is this he could have gotten after what anybody said get the first fish so that fish had to be at the right place at the right hook. You know, that's crazy. Is that all crazy? I don't know about y'all but that's just depressed. If this is all walking on water kind of stuff. You should take money in a fish now. We're not going to put money in a fish mouth Ministries and write a book. I just don't believe that you know, I know that there was a so, you know what I heard that you know that there was a bus Ministry years ago that we were going to go out and do this bus Ministry and these churches bought the bus Ministry book and it failed. Do you know why? Because it became production and not producing fruit as opposed to listening to the Holy Spirit and producing manufacturing manifestations good because you know something can you do the bus ministry as modeling it absolutely but be mindful always listening to the holy spirit in whatever Ministry that you're doing, right Jesus avoided the drama to pay the taxes. He he understood that there was no trap in his freedom. He had full ability to do so and oh by the way Matthew 22 19 through 21, and these are just outtakes. Basically. He said whose face is on the coin. This is a different imply when they're trying to say should we pay taxes? But it still covers it whose face is on the coin. Caesar they said then then Caesar render to Caesar what belongs to him in parenthesis rendered to the tap Temple tax dudes what belongs to the temple out of parenthesis or close parenthesis and render under God what belongs to God? That's your application. The final application is That you dear friend dear Brethren online. Would be your life and you're all giving to the Lord. So give to the Lord your life in your all and go out and have a ball in Abundant Life doing it. And the abundance in the Majestic a man. Can you pass out communion real quick? You got a little song. Can we just do a diddy right here? Do we need to meet up my cup? I want to remind you again as we're getting our communion you guys at home. Please do the same Stewart. I need you in gloves, please for you hand out. Thank you will get your communion after the song.

I want to remind you next week. We're doing a baptism. I am asking of you right now to begin praying for what God is going to do. I have no clue. If you're online and you want to come get baptized will put your mask on you'll be like waterboarding a kidding. You can bring a snorkel. I think Brent said last time we're welcome to do that. We can hold you down outside, you know, we can do that. But one way or the other if you have not been baptized, please come down to do so if you're afraid to do so and there's somebody at your house or are you want Pastor Brent or myself to coming back to baptize you in your tub will do so it really doesn't matter to us. If you want us to just you hit you with a bottle of water with the lid off then we'll do that as well. But baptism is for you next next Father's Day. So what a gift to get back to him in the midst of that so Father this time of communion and your time of that. Thank you.

You you give us an opportunity to operate with you. And if we choose not to we will be removed from you or the choices on ask that many of us here who have just been mingling with this thing called Christianity would actually act like we are married cuz we're at mingling is not being married and there are so many. That will show up to church service call themselves Christian speak the language. Play a part but Lord, you are not Lord and king of their heart made that not be anyone here. weather online some other time and if it is, but it stopped now.

Do you have the key to set us free? That's operated in your will and your way not our own. So we thank you Lord for giving us the opportunity. pursue you

May we be faithful in that Pursuit? Did you have been and will be for all eternity like?
