People perish for lack of vision.
Learn to use your sixth sense.
Ill - Wrong side of the right track
I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower,
And will watch to see what he will say unto me,
And what I shall answer when I am reproved.
reproved is the Heb word for assignment.
Our inheritance is received when we respond to our marching orders.
Caleb Josh 14:10-11
And now, behold, the Lord hath kept me alive, as he said, these forty and five years, even since the Lord spake this word unto Moses, while the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness: and now, lo, I am this day fourscore and five years old. As yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me: as my strength was then, even so is my strength now, for war, both to go out, and to come in.
Give THIS DAY WHAT WAS PROMISED THAT DAY
Now give me this hill country that the Lord promised me that day. You yourself heard then that the Anakites were there and their cities were large and fortified, but, the Lord helping me, I will drive them out just as he said.”
A generation died because they missed what God said.
Two men entered into unbelievable blessing because they did and stood for it.
Gifts - administration or visionary,
Season - childrearing, training leaders
Role - people you’re called to,
Passion - like, dislike, stand up for, give in to,
Then the Lord replied:
“Write down the revelation
and make it plain on tablets
so that a herald may run with it.
Write the vision down / Make it plain - let it germinate
Run with it - people who write it down move faster.
stay on course - The creatures inhabiting the island possessed enchanting voices that distracted sailors from their journey, imprisoning them forever. As Odysseus’ crew passed by, the creatures sang their beautiful song. But Odysseus knew the dangers. He put wax in his crew’s ears and ordered that he be tied securely to the ship’s mast to prevent him from being lured away by their seductive melody. Odysseus also commanded they stay true to their course no matter how bad their circumstances seemed. I must stay true to our course once it is set.
For the vision is yet for an appointed time,
But at the end it shall speak, and not lie:
Though it tarry, wait for it;
Because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
It has an appointed time. It will speak for itself
Wait -
While waiting prepare as if setting an ambush of enemy.
Passively lively
Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him:
But the just shall live by his faith.
Saying it can’t be done is saying you are smarter and wiser than God.
God wants to do a miracle in your life and the life of those you’ll be blessed to speak into.
