THEY LOST A LIFE OF INCREASING TRIUMPH
In their first battle in Canaan, they gained victory by obeying God at Jericho. Joshua 6:1-20.
Then a little later we find them standing still and letting God fight for them. Joshua 10:10, 11.
THEY LOST THE BLESSING OF CANAAN'S CORN

THEY LOST THE BLESSING OF CANAAN'S HONEY
The spiritual definition for honey is threefold:
A disposition of unfailing sweetness.

CONCLUSION:
Let us notice the mood of those who live in Babylon; this may help us to see more clearly whether we are residing there or not.
They have no song, no praise and no joy.
Psalm 137:1–4 KJV 1900
By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, When we remembered Zion. We hanged our harps Upon the willows in the midst thereof. For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; And they that wasted us required of us mirth, Saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion. How shall we sing the Lord’s song In a strange land?
