This morning we are going to be looking at the Christians victory. I want to teach you how to get an upper hand in the under world. We have been going through the book of Revelation and one of the things that we have not really brought out is the fact that in the last days there will be a deception that spreads across the world and a resurgence of demonic activity.
Now if you are a soul winner, a bold witness for the Lord jesus Christ it wont be long till you have to deal with the devil. You say well I have never dealt with the devil. That seems a little bit out there. I would say well you probably ahve you just never learned to detect the devils attacks, or two you’re just a carnal Christian that doesn’t really pose a threat to the Kingdom of Darkness.
We have gotten into the book of Revelation and I have not been as thorough as I would like to be, but I could literally spends years teaching the Book of Revelation alone.
But one of the key themes in the Book of Revelation is that there will be an overwhelming increase of demonic activity. In Fact there is right now as we speak millions of demons that are sitting in God’s prison cell called the Abyss and one of the ways that the world will be judged in the last days is God will open up this demon Alcatraz and these prison hardened, monstrous demons will be released and they will torment and plague humanity unlike anything the World has ever seen before, Now the last time I was with you we took an in depth study of the leader of the rebellion the devil himself. He is the ultimate villain, he is the ultimate rebel and to ignore his existence and activity in the world today is not only gullible but it is eternally damning. We looked at the devil and his hatred for the Jewish people. Remember he was standing there to devour the child, who was Jesus Christ, the savior of the World. The reason this Crowned blood thirsty monarch was standing there to devour the Child is because it was this Child that would defeat him
This morning I want to teach you about your victory over the enemy. Because as powerful and overwhelming as Satan is, the Lord Jesus is much more powerful. In fact He is All Powerful because He is God incarnate. There are some things about your victory that you need to understand. You and I have to learn how to fight the right way. The way that will cause the devil to flee from you. Any tactics that you come up with on your own will simply make you easy kill for the enemyt. But when you learn how to fight through jesus the dervil will become easy kill for you
5 She gave birth to a male child, one who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron, but her child was caught up to God and to his throne,
7 Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought back, 8 but he was defeated, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God. 11 And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death. 12 Therefore, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short!”
How the Devil works
Through Deception - Verse 9 “Who deceives the whole world.”
Jesus called the Devil the Father of all lies. Lies and deception is his major weopon
The Devil would rather you to believe a wrong thing than get you to do a wrong thing
If he can get you believing the wrong thing. He has you
The devil has two main objectives in this life.
Objective number one is to keep someone from being saved. Te bible says that He is the one that blinds the minds of unbelievers.
This is the importancne of us gathering together and soaking everything we do in prayer. You see if a person is never prayed for, then that person will never be saved. And when your witnessing you better not go out half cocked thinking that you can jsut persuade someone to be saved. Oh no you cannot, because whatver you can persuade someone into the devil can persuade them right out.
11 He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. 12 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God,
Do you see the word “right” to become children of God? The word is actually power or authority. To those that receive Jesus he gives them the power, gives them the authority to become children. You see when a person is born again it is by the power of God and not the persuasion of men
When people are unsaved, or lost as we might call it, you see they are under Satans power, they are blinded by the great deceiver and if not prayed for, or the Soul winner is not filled with the Holy Spirit, they caannot and will not understand the simple truth of the gospel. Some vile spirit will be holding them hostage. I have been witnessing to people before and all of a sudden they get extremely tired. Or the phone will ring, or something will happen. Why? because the Devil wants to drag as many to hell as He can
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. 5 We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,
If people are not prayed for, then the devil will keep them bound up with fortresses built up in their mind
THE DEVILS STRONGHOLDS
The devil will bind them up with religion… oh you have been to church all your life. You are a Good person. You give money ehn its comfortable. You serve in the nursery. You make it to church when its convient. The Devil binds a lot of people up with religio
A few years ago I was in Lufkin witnessing to a friend of mines dad. WHo was well into his seventies, and he claimed to be saved at a VBS when he was a kid. But the problem in my miond is that he wasn’t servign God
The Lord warned us that there will be many, many people that will die and go to hell because they never really ever knew him. They will say Lord Lord, and list a bunch of religious things, and he will in turn tell them depart from me for I never knew you
Binds people up with pleasure...

Binds people up shame.
Guy witnessing to a woman and she was combative. She was mocking and contradicting everything he said. And the holy Spirit read her mail and all of a sudden the man asked her, “ Who sexually abused you, and immedietly she got mad and said who told you about that? He said God told me, and once that fortress was demolished the woman got saved
And the devil is not nearly so much a pusher of pornography, and a pusher of dope, and a pusher of alcohol, as he is a pusher of false doctrine. He is a peddler of lies and lies will bind people up.
Let me tell you what else the devil has done. He has created a weak church that is seeker friendly. He has created a church atmosphere where truth is never really gotten two and its all about empathising with the persons sins and struggles. Jesus said my disciples will know the truth and the truth will set them free
The Second objective is Ineffectiveness
- You see if he cant keep a person from being saved He will keep them from being ineffective. What I mean by that is he will keep them wallering in their sin, reminding them of their past, and keeping them paralyzed in their present. Listen to me Chold of God. If you don’t get free, your prison will become much worse.
You see Ephesians 6
11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.
That means that the devil is systematic in his approach. He is not willy nilly, careless in his attacks. he is very calculated. he will kill you by a thousand little cuts. The way it works is that he has been around you your entire life. There is an entire network of demons. And just as people have angels, the devill assigns demons who are watching, observing. Taking not of things done in secret, taking notes of abuses that you sustain during your life. They have a network and they know your vulnerablitites.
Let me show you how it workds. Lets say that when you were a child your dad walked out on you and your mom. It was followed by years of struggle for your single mom. And all the while some vile spirit was assigned to you and his main focus was to make you feel like a regject because after all your dad rejected tyou when he walked out. And this starts a series of systematic lies, and then a systematic attack to bring people in your life that will continue to reject you. He will get others to do to you what he is already doing to you in your mind.
if you were ,molested as a child he will exploit that. He will continue to bring guys into your life that look at you like a piece of meat, The devil will set out to destroy utterly and completely your capacity to love and be feminine.
And so you may be born again but truth be told you are still a slave, because you have never leaned about who you are in Christ

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places,
20 that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places,
10 so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.
12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.

Well, look, if you will, in verse 11, and see how they overcame him: “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death” (Revelation 12:11)

Think of this being a court system. Over here we have the District attourney… We are living in his district the world. Also known as the prosecuting attourney. And He is there before the judge accusing us day and night. You know CJ thought those thoughts, did that deed. BNow he is not bringing lies before the God of Heaven. He may be a lunatic ut He ain’t stupid

3. Commitment- Did not love thier lives even unto death
THE WOE
12 Therefore, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short!”
Now notice that before the woe comes there is a rejoicing that takes place. God says, rejoice oh heavens and you who dwell in them! Now who is that God is speaking too? The angels? No I believe he is speking to those that are in heaven… Christians that are in heaven.... Those that have taken place in the rapture. You see the tribulation period is a period of wrath towards the sins of the lost world and a restoration time of the nation of Israel. Though their salvation will come through tribulation. When God in very super natural ways preserves the ation of Israel and so they will be saved.
you see why the world is going through the Tribulation the Church will be dining in Heaven at the marriage Supper of the Lamb.
6 Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the roar of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out, “Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns. 7 Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready; 8 it was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure”— for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.
We are living in the age of grace, if you want forgivness you can have it. You want mercy it is yours for the taking. There is coming a day, an hour that we know not and jesus will call his bride into the air. He willl take us to heaven and while the world will experience darkness like they have never experienced before. The Bride of Christ will be taken by her husband for an extended Wedding celebration.
You say well how do you know that is going to happen at the rapture and not at the very end? Well because in the next passage
11 Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war.
After the marriage supper, then the king returns and he will go to the battle of Armageddon, where the whole godless world under the military command under the Anti Christ and jesus will come and speak two words and destroy the Anti Christ and the whole military might of the world. You say what two words? Drop Dead!!
15 From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty.
You don’t want to miss the rapture… for when Satan last visit comes to heaven and God Kicks his butt out… He will be like a ravaging, vicious animal who is cornered and knows that He has a short time before his long hiatus in Hell! He will pull out all the stops. This i believe is what kicks off the second half of the tribulation that is known as the Great Tribulation. The Bible will often speak about 42 months of the Tribulation, that equals 3.5 years.
This will be the point that Satan Himself will enter into the Anti Christ and fully posses him. There are plenty of times when the Bible would talk about demon possed people. Bu tthere is only two people that the Bible speaks of Satan entering into and possesing, Judas who betrayed jesus… Jesus called him the Son of Perdition and this final man the final Anti Christ. Up until this point the Antichrist is just a world leader, but at this point he will become the Devil incarnate
He will fill the anti Christ with such power and such malace that He will completely ravish the world. At first He will seem so likable, so charismatic, so winsome that people will recieve him as Savior. But when the devil enters this man after the Anti Christ surrenders every fiber of his being to the Devil and calls him Father, this man will make hitler, staling, and Lennon look like wimps.
