If someone is following your footsteps would your footprints lead them to the Lord?

Lives of great men all remind us
We can make our lives sublime,
And, departing, leave behind us
Footprints on the sands of time.
Longfellow- A Psalm of Life
Psalm 37:23 KJV 1900
23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: And he delighteth in his way.
(AMP)
23 The steps of a [good] man are directed and established by the Lord when He delights in his way [and He busies Himself with his every step]. your steps
David continued to present the reasons it is better to be poor and righteous than wealthy and wicked, noting that the righteous benefit from the Lord’s guidance throughout their lives (v. 23). He orders (kuwn)—prepares, establishes, makes firm—their steps. He guided them safely along life’s path in a way that both delights Him and leads to their happiness.
Psalm 37:24–28 KJV 1900
24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: For the Lord upholdeth him with his hand. 25 I have been young, and now am old; Yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his seed begging bread. 26 He is ever merciful, and lendeth; And his seed is blessed. 27 Depart from evil, and do good; And dwell for evermore. 28 For the Lord loveth judgment, And forsaketh not his saints; They are preserved for ever: But the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

Only One Set of Footprints

One night I had a dream. I was walking along the beach with the Lord, and across the sky flashed scenes of my life. In each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand. One was mine and one was the Lord’s. When the last scene of my life appeared before me, I looked back at the footprints in the sand and to my surprise, I noticed that during some of my most troublesome times there was only one set of footprints. I told the Lord that I did not understand why He left my side when I needed Him most. He said, “my child, I never left you during your time of trial. When you see only one set of footprints, I was carrying you.” (Margaret Powers, Guideposts magazine, July 1992).
Mark the perfect man
Psalm 37:34–40 KJV 1900
34 Wait on the Lord, and keep his way, And he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: When the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it. 35 I have seen the wicked in great power, And spreading himself like a green bay tree. 36 Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: Yea, I sought him, but he could not be found. 37 Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: For the end of that man is peace. 38 But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: The end of the wicked shall be cut off. 39 But the salvation of the righteous is of the Lord: He is their strength in the time of trouble. 40 And the Lord shall help them, and deliver them: He shall deliver them from the wicked, And save them, because they trust in him.
Job 31:4 KJV 1900
4 Doth not he see my ways, And count all my steps?
Psalm 31:3 KJV 1900
3 For thou art my rock and my fortress; Therefore for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me.
Psalm 31:4 KJV 1900
4 Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me: For thou art my strength.
