When the enemy is about to attack, the place to turn to is the Lord God Almighty! Prayer brings proper perspective. Prayer is timeless in that it bring victory now and in the future. Prayer gives opportunity for God to respond by the Holy Spirit to the cry of His people.

Prayer works because it is based upon the eternal Word of God and the promises it offers because of the finished work of Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior and the presence of the Holy Spirit!
We are living in a time of a great need of a move of God. Our current world is different in many ways and in need for God’s people to stand in the gap with prayer/supplication/intercession so that the glory of God will be revealed in our world.
2 Chronicles 20:12-14
V13 informs us that at this prayer gathering was men, their little ones, wives and children. There is a need for today that all ages and members of the multi-generations have an experience of hearing people call upon God and see the results that God brings when we pray in faith!
As we continue with the prayer meeting that occured with King Jehosaphat last week I emphasized that prayer is to be based upon Who God Is and On God’s Covenant.

Why Does Prayer Work?

It Is Positioned On God’s Power

It Is Positioned On The Finished Work of Christ

It Is Positioned On The Eternal Word of God

100 years before the prayer of King David
11 Yours, O Lord, is the greatness,
The power and the glory,
The victory and the majesty;
For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours;
Yours is the kingdom, O Lord,
And You are exalted as head over all.
12 Both riches and honor come from You,
And You reign over all.
In Your hand is power and might;
In Your hand it is to make great
And to give strength to all.
