Let’s face it, the church has had a sign on its door for some time now that reads “Out of Order”. Preachers are preaching what sounds politically correct. People don’t have a genuine concern for their behavior toward each other. We have stop passing down sound teaching. Everybody is at odds with each other. And let’s be honest, many of the people in the church have just become lazy concerning the things of God. The church in a since has become chaotic and its time to set things straight.
This is Paul’s intent as he writes to Titus. It is also God’s concern for you and me today.
Paul wrote this letter to encourage Titus and to remind him of the responsibilities he faced on Crete.
Paul wrote his friend in ministry Titus to accomplish a number of objectives. First, he wished to encourage Titus in his Christian growth. Second, he offered instructions about church organization, particularly congregational officers and various age groups.
Now just anybody couldn’t handle this job, but know this:
God always sends the right person when it concerns His people.

A servant, slave, a person legally owned by someone else and whose entire livelihood and purpose was determined by their master.
Paul says he belongs to God and his life and purpose determined by God.
An apostle, of Jesus Christ. He was appointed by Jesus.
He was directly commission by Jesus.

Their faith was being challenged
Their knowledge of the truth was being corrupted
They were not being treated right.

A true friend and associate.
Titus was sincere.
Paul calls him his child, this is a term of endearment.
Titus had the task of being an apostolic representative. One of Paul’s early converts (1:4), he was a Gentile, evidently from Antioch of Syria. Paul took Titus with him to Jerusalem to discuss the nature of the gospel (Gal. 2:1–3). Titus was so vibrant a disciple that the Jerusalem leaders were persuaded that Paul’s law-free gospel was acceptable (Gal. 2:3–5).
Titus was with Paul in Ephesus on last missionary journey.
Titus served as Paul’s ambassador to the troubled church in Corinth. He was the deliver of the Severe letter and 2 Corinthians.
Just like Titus was the man for this job,
Jesus was the man for the job on Calvary!
God will always send the right man for the job.
God needed a perfect sacrifice.
He had it in Jesus.
When God needed the perfect teacher,
He had it in Jesus
And now that God has made PFC
Can He count on you to be the right man or woman for the job.
