#1 Gird Loins with Truth

You gird your loins with truth by staying in the place where you know the truth of who you are and who He is.

He is good and He loves you.

What does He specifically like about you?

Remember this in all times of your life

#2 Breastplate of Righteousness

You put on the breastplate of Righteousness by indulging and showing your love for Jesus and others.

Protects your heart and place where love comes from.

Gratitude, Praise, Serving,

From a place of being loved, showing love.

#3 Shod your feet with Peace.

You shod your feet by putting your confidence in the peace Holy Spirit is giving you.

Keeps you feet on the path of life.

Ask Holy Spirit where to find peace daily.

What is the next step of peace?

Assignment:

Make a morning routine by taking up the pieces of armor we have learned about so far.

1. Remember what specifically Jesus loves about you and you love about Him?

2. Thank or Praise God for a specific memory of your connection with Him.

3. Put your confidence in one thing Holy Spirit has given you peace about.

Ephesians 6:13–16 NASB95

13 Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. 14 Stand firm therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

That would be nice to know the secrete that extinguishes the faming arrows of the evil one, wouldn't it?

Shield:

Is only used once in the new testament.

The root word of this greek word means door.

Door through which sheep go in

Open door of opportunity

Door of the Kingdom of heaven.

How do you extinguish a flaming arrow with a shield?

These flaming arrows become hints of calling in your life when you know that you carry the doorway to opportunity the doorway to heave to lost sheep being found.

These flaming arrows can ignite the flaming fire of Gods word already inside you.

Example:

Someone bullies you, you know you carry the life changing truth in you that can change them too.

When someone or yourself says you cant do this, you know you have taken up the doorway of bring

They are bullying you because you are the door.

They are saying your not enough because they dont believe they are enough and you are the doorway to them discovering who they really are.

Context

Paul is speaking to a group of people here not just one person.

Today we are talking to a group of people. If you are watching from home you are part of that group.

Taking Up the Shield

People who are hearing their own thing to fill their personal need will not be able to put on the shield of faith.

You ‘Take Up The Shield Of Faith’ by receiving the corporate word of the God to us as yours.

Once your receive that word as yours with no agenda attached you will hear unique ways you add value to that word.

That corporate word has many doors in there that become doors to opportunity, the kingdom of heaven, and to lost sheep becoming family.

This piece of armor is put on together and we all have our personal role in it.

Ekklesia is called out group of people with an assigned mission.

Become Abundant life

Our Current mission:

‘Reach-out to those who are reaching.’

How has Father called us as a family? Receive that as yours, take that up as yours.

Look around you to see how all the people here are called to this mission.

You can full-fill that mission in many ways.

Look to see who you influence and reach out to those reaching.

Bless them, fellowship, minister and declare.

Practical:

Helping this room be ready for people who are reaching.

Closing:

You ‘Take Up The Shield Of Faith’ by receiving the corporate word of the God to us as yours.

Together we take up

You are the door to someone become part of the family of God.

You are the doorway to someone who is lost becoming found.

You are the doorway to someone becoming whole.

We are a family with a mission.

That big picture mission is to become the Abundant Life Jesus gave.

The current mission is to “Reach out to those reaching”.

Assignment:
