4.0 The Rapture

The word Rapture does not appear in the Bible.
1 Thessalonians 4:17 KJV 1900
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Notice the words “Caught Up”
The Latin Word “Rapturo” meaning: “Caught Up”
The Greek Word “Harpazo” meaning: “Caught Up”
The English Word “Rapture” meaning: “Caught Up”
The Rapture and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ are not the same event.
They are two different events separated by 7 years.
The Rapture is first.
Second Coming is second.
The Rapture is when Jesus comes for His Church
The Second Coming is when Jesus Returns with His Church.
Revelation 4:1–2 KJV 1900
1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. 2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
Scriptures about the Rapture:
1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 KJV 1900
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1 Corinthians 15:51–53 KJV 1900
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
Not everyone believes in the Rapture.
There are many different views out there.
Pre-Tribulation:
Jesus will come for His saints, before the Great Tribulation.
Revelation 3:10 KJV 1900
10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
God always takes his believers out of danger before He pour out His Wrath and Judgments:
Noah
Lott’s Family
Israelite who where in bondage in Egypt.
Mid-Tribulation:
Jesus will come back for His believers halfway through the Great Tribulation. (The First 3 1/2 year mark.)
Post-Tribulation:
Jesus will come for His believers after The Seven Year Great Tribulation.
I call this the U-Turn View.
Say. “why do you call it that?”
There is no time line that fits this view.
There are certain event that are going take place in Heaven at the same time, The 7 Year Great Tribulation will be going on the earth.
Our Glorious New Body
Revelation 4:1–2 KJV 1900
1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. 2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
The Judgment Seat of Christ
2 Corinthians 5:10 KJV 1900
10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
The Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
Revelation 19:9 KJV 1900
9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
These events happen as soon as we are being Raptured and while we are in Heaven during The Seven Year Great Tribulation.
Partial Rapture:
Jesus will Rapture some of His believers.
Leaving the others to endure the Great Tribulation.
The problem with this belief is how will Jesus pick, who will be Raptured.
The Righteous Believers
The Bible say’s There are none righteous.
Romans 3:10 KJV 1900
10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
What would be the qualification to be Raptured before others.
The answer is there is no way, for we are all sinners in the eye’s of God.
The Rapture is the next great event on God’s prophetic calendar.
The Signs of the Lord Jesus Christ Rapture of the church.
2 Timothy 3:1–7 KJV 1900
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Possible event that would proceed the Rapture.
The Ezekiel 38 War also know as the Gog/Magog War.
Play close attention to Ezekiel 39: 9
Ezekiel 39:9 KJV 1900
9 And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years:
Don’t pay too much attention to movies about the Rapture.
They are only partially right.
You will be able to get saved during the tribulation.
But, only if you never heard the true gospel of Jesus Christ.
2 Thessalonians 2:11 KJV 1900
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Individuals involved in the Rapture.
The Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Thessalonians 4:16 KJV 1900
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
The Archangel.
Many Theologians believe this to be Michael.
He functions as a Warrior of God.
He was the angel that cast out Satan.
Some believe it to be Gabriel.
He functions as the spokesperson for God.
Daniel 8:16 KJV 1900
16 And I heard a man’s voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision.
Daniel 9:21 KJV 1900
21 Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.
Luke 1:19 KJV 1900
19 And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings.
Luke 1:26 KJV 1900
26 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,
The Christian that have died before the Rapture.
1 Thessalonians 4:16 KJV 1900
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1 Corinthians 15:52 KJV 1900
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
Christians that are still alive when the Rapture takes place.
1 Thessalonians 4:17 KJV 1900
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Aborted babies, miscarried babies, and babies that die earlier in life. Babies that are alive, Children who has not reached the age of accountability, and those born with mental or physical disabilities that they can never will be able to understand what is sin.
The Age of Accountability is when a person has reached the age were they can understand what is sin and the penalty of sin.
In every case dealing with the salvation of children, and the mentally handicapped is decided on the basis of God’s Grace.
How many people have tried to predict the Rapture?
Jehovah Witness’s predicted the Rapture; October 1874, April 1878, October 1881, October 1914, April 1925.
Edgar C. Whisenant, published a book titled: 88 Reasons Why The Rapture Will Be In 1988
According to the Bible God’s Word.
Nobody knows the time or date.
Matthew 24:36 KJV 1900
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Mark 13:32 KJV 1900
32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
My personal believe the Rapture will happen either before or shortly after the Ezekiel 38 War.

4.1 Events that take place in Heaven after the Rapture, and during the Great Seven Year Tribulation.

Our new Glorified Bodies happen at the same time as we our Raptured.
Revelation 4:2 KJV 1900
2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
Philippians 3:21 KJV 1900
21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
1 Corinthians 15:49 KJV 1900
49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
1 John 3:2 KJV 1900
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
About our New Glorified Bodies.
The Bible doesn’t describe in detail the glorified bodies we will receive in Heaven.
We know that it will be a body like the Resurrected body of Jesus at the age 33 1/2 years old.
1 John 3:2 KJV 1900
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
Our human flesh and blood cannot enter into Heaven.
1 Corinthians 15:50 KJV 1900
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
Our Earthly Bodies are,
Perishable.
Dishonorable.
Weak.
All due to sin.
Our New Glorified Bodies will be,
Imperishable.
Honorable.
Powerful.
Sinnless
Philippians 3:21 KJV 1900
21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
We have no reason to pamper and value our earthly body.
It passes away, and Jesus has another body for us.
One like His Resurrected Body.
It will be able to take up citizenship in Heaven with the resurrected Jesus Christ.
Our earthly bodies get sick, hurt, desire sinful pleasures, grow old, and eventually die.
The followers of Jesus Christ have hope that life in this world is not the end.
Someday, we will have a perfect body that will never die,.
A body like the resurrected Jesus Christ has now.
1 John 3:2 KJV 1900
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
“We will be transformed into His likeness with ever-increasing glory.”
This process of transformation, which is slow and uneven here on earth.
Will be rapid and complete when we see Jesus Christ.
Right now, our capabilities are limited because of our earthly sinful flesh.
Our New Glorified Body will be a Body of Flesh and Bone.
Luke 24:39 KJV 1900
39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
This body will have Substance, it can be touch and handled.
This body will have flesh which gives the body it’s appearance.
Job 19:25–26 KJV 1900
25 For I know that my redeemer liveth, And that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: 26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, Yet in my flesh shall I see God:
Our New Glorified Body will be Recognizable.
1 Corinthians 13:12 KJV 1900
12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
We will be able to recognize each other in Heaven.
We will have our own distinctive Characteristics.
1 Corinthians 15:41–43 KJV 1900
41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory. 42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: 43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
Our present bodies are Corruptible, Perishable, and Prone to Decay.
Our resurrected bodies will be transformed.
These spiritual bodies will not be limited to the Laws of Nature.
This does not necessarily mean we’ll be super-people.
But our bodies will be different and more capable than our present earthly bodies.
Our New Glorified Body in which the Spirit Dominates.
Right now, we are in a body that the flesh mostly dominates.
1 Corinthians 15:44 KJV 1900
44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
Our spiritual bodies will not be weak, will never get sick, tired, and will never die.
a. Again, we are in a body that the flesh mostly dominates.
James 1:13–14 KJV 1900
13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: 14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
b. Right now, the spirit usually submits to the flesh.
Mark 14:38 KJV 1900
38 Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.
Our New Glorified body will be Unlimited by Time, Space, or Even Gravity.
a. Jesus was able to appear and vanish right before the disciples eyes.
Luke 24:31–36 KJV 1900
31 And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight. 32 And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures? 33 And they rose up the same hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and them that were with them, 34 Saying, The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon. 35 And they told what things were done in the way, and how he was known of them in breaking of bread. 36 And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
b. This also happened in the mist of secured room.
John 20:19 KJV 1900
19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
John 20:26 KJV 1900
26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.
c. I personally believe that because the body is spirit controlled, the body will be able to travel by the will of the of the spirit.
Our New Glorified Body will be an Eternal Body.
2 Corinthians 5:1 KJV 1900
1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
This body will never wear out.
This glorified body will be youthful, able and energetic forever.
This body will never be overweight, underweight and no baldness.
Our New Glorified Body will be a Glorious Body.
1 Corinthians 15:43 KJV 1900
43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
Not only does glorified mean beautiful, but it is also means bright.
Daniel 12:3 KJV 1900
3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
There will be no sickness, blindness, aches, or pain
When we are raptured, and get Our New Glorified Body, if you were married or are married that will end.
There are no marriages in Heaven.
Mark 12:24–27 KJV 1900
24 And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God? 25 For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven. 26 And as touching the dead, that they rise: have ye not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spake unto him, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? 27 He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err.
As we talked about it earlier.
You will know you spouse
You be able to recognize your spouse
But, we are going to be as the angels
Mark 12:25 KJV 1900
25 For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.
Not Married.
You Marriage vowels say “Till Death Do Us Part”
