LET GOD BE GOD

A Disciple knows his God Intimately
To move with God, we need to Know HIS Heartbeat
Intimacy with God is like a child dancing with her Father
God the Father is the One that Initiate the Dance with Us
We cannot rest in God unless we understand the Father Heart of God
We are God’s precious Sons and Daughters
God holds us in our difficulties and trials - When we have a Relationship with God, we are able to let go after we have prayed… to let God be God
Psalm 30:5b
… weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.
Matthew 11:28-30
Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
There is a deep thirst in every soul.
Cannot be filled by Ministry, Relationships Career
This can only be filled by God the Father
Psalm 62:5
“Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from Him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress; I will not be shaken.
John 7:37
“If anyone is thirsty, let Him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.”
Our significance and self-worth are found in God – IF NOT- Our Motivation, Passion, Desire and Character will be misaligned
The first key to discipling and multiplying is to know the Father Heart of God, finding rest in Him to be changed and be transformed.
In knowing the Father’s heart, we realize He had sacrificial love
Isaiah 41:15
“I will make you into a threshing sledge, new and sharp, you will thresh the mountains and crush them and reduce the hills to chaff..”
Isaiah 55:4
God was referring to David that “See, I have made him a witness to the peoples, a leader and commander of the peoples”
“Your kingdom come; your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”
Mark 8:34
If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.
Ministry is an outflow of our relationship with God
Ultimately, our relationship with the Father brings about a strengthening in all our relationships that we can impact the community, impact the Nation.
Acts 4:31
After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.
Does God dance?
In Zephaniah 3:17.
“The Lord your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.”
God is Passionate for YOU!
LET US DANCE WITH THE FATHER!
