Every organization has some form of teaching and training required of its members. Its to ensure that every member is well equipped to perform his or her duties and to also be able to teach others who may find themselves involve with their organization.
Many manufacturers are known for promoting what is known as GMP Good manufacturing practices to ensure quality employees and quality products. They have what can be considered healthy teaching for their employees. Because GMP will keep both the employee and the product safe.
Why does the church need a healthy teaching regimen.
Paul wants Titus to teach what is consistent with sound doctrine, healthy teaching, that is the teaching that he, Paul, has received and passed on to him. Paul understand that it is important to have proper teaching in the church, if the people are going to be all they can be in the Lord.
I believe today, that Healthy teaching of the Word of God will produce healthy lifestyles in the people of God.
The teaching falls between verses 1 and 15. But is supported by the foundation of verses 11-14.
Titus is teach, to speak what lines us with sound, accurate doctrine. He is to speak, encourage, sternly admonish and not let anyone depise or look down on him with contemp.
So, lets look at the teaching regimen described in our text from three categories.

Healthy Teaching for Grown Ups V. 1-6

Healthy teaching starts with the adults in the church.
Older Men, a man older than an adult, but not yet in the last, less productive stage of old age; perhaps between 50 and 60 years old.
Sober-Minded, temperate, not given to any extremes in behavior; perhaps especially in terms of alcohol.
Dignified, being worthy of esteem or respect; especially on account of one’s behavior. Pertaining to appropriate, befitting behavior and implying dignity and respect.
Self-controlled, being sensible and moderate in one’s behavior. Wisely keeping self-control over one’s passions and desires.
Sound, correct or accurate
in faith, gospel content
in love, a strong positive emotion of regard and affection
steadfastness, the power to withstand hardship or stress; especially the inward fortitude necessary.
Older Women
Reverent in behavior, demeanor, being devoted to proper expression of religious beliefs. Devout demeanor
Not slanderers, characterized by attacking the reputation of another by slander or libel. One who engages in slander.
Not slaves, that is to be or become entirely dominated by some influence or person; conceived of as being legal property of another.
They have good teaching
Train, instruct in wisdom the younger women
Love their husband and children. have love for their husband and children, it takes training!
Be self-controlled, to think and live wisely in self-control over one’s passions and desires.
Pure, faultless, having no faults.
Working at home, homemaking, taking care of the home, diligently applying oneself to caring for one’s house or household.
Kind, good, having desirable or positive qualities.
Submissive, to submit to the orders or directives of someone, to obey. To be or become inclined or willing to submit to orders or wishes of others or showing such inclination.
So the word of God is not reviled, blasphemed, spoken against in such a way that it harms or injures the reputation of God’s Word.
Younger Men
Self-controlled, to think and live wisely in self-control over one’s passions and desires.

Healthy Example of A Teacher V. 7-8

The teacher needs to be a healthy example in everything he does.
Model or example of good works, in his moral duties.
In his teaching, the activities of educating or instructing; activities that impart knowledge.
He is to show integrity, moral soundness and sincerity. It should be undiluted or shall I say unmixed with impure or tainted material.
He should not be implementing worldly, ungodly belief systems into his teaching.
He is to show dignity, behavioral dignity, that is, being worthy of esteem or respect, especially on account of one’s behavior. His or her behavior should be befitting, leading to respect.
Opponent, an adversary
can be put to shame, to cause them to be embarrassed or ashamed
Having nothing evil, base, immoral to say about us.
Listen even if people don’t like you personally, your style of clothes, they way you comb your hair, etc they ought to speak well of your teaching and have a level of respect for you.

Healthy Example of A Slave V. 9-10

What a real Christian should look like.
Bondservants, slave, a person who is legally owned by someone else and whose entire livelihood and purpose was determined by their master.
Be submissive, submit to the orders or directives of someone, to obey. To be or become inclined or willing to submit to orders or wishes of others or showing such inclination.
Well pleasing, giving pleasure and satisfaction; perhaps in a greater degree than usual.
Not argumentative, resisting, antagonizing to the point of complete opposition. Speaking against something or someone.
Not pilfering, holding back; refusing to hand over or share. To misappropriate funds for one’s own benefit. Embezzle
But showing themselves faithful
They may adorn, make more attractive, the teaching of God our Savior.
It is clear in each case that Paul’s concern is that Christians live in such a way that the witness of the community is not discredited by what outsiders would consider unseemly behavior. The gospel is scandalous enough; no need to add unnecessary offense!
What kind of teaching regimen are you following today?
Have you stopped by your local Bible Study lately?
Are you the reason, some people won’t trust your God? Because you don’t know enough about Him.
Are they criticizing God and the Word of God because you.
We all need a healthy teaching regimen.
Healthy teaching of the Word of God will produce healthy lifestyles in the people of God.
