Look for the right heart and right attitude

What is dominating your time and conversations?

Is it Christ or Corona?
Is it the Gospel or Politics?
Is it your Job or your Calling?
Is it worth it?

Is it more profitable to complain about problems or pray about them?

If people read your social media and listened in on your conversations what would they say is true of you?
Are we leaving people inspired to love and follow Christ or to argue with their neighbors?
You are going to be know for something, what will it be?

Look for the ability to forgive yourself and others

Some need to forgive themselves

Many people are carrying burdens that they were never supposed to carry
1 John 1:9 NASB95
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
If God is faithful to forgive us, who are we to hold onto our guilt and regrets?
The attempt to hold yourself to a higher standard than the Holy God of the universe is ridiculous.

Some need to forgive others

If you are harboring un-forgiveness in your heart, not only are you in sin, you are ruining your own life.
Mike Simpson said, “Not forgiving someone is like letting them live rent free in your head.”
Release the burden of their guilt to the one who forgives your guilt.
Allow God to be your avenger rather than holding that card in your own hand.

Look for the inner peace that comes through our relationship with Christ

God has created a better way for us.

By following Christ, we walk in everlasting, abundant life now!

John 10:10 NASB95
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.

Everlasting, Abundant life begins at Salvation and is ours for the enjoying if we will but walk in it.
