“Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall.” – ...“The trees are about to show us how lovely it is to let the dead things go.” – ...“Anyone who thinks fallen leaves are dead has never watched them dancing on a windy day.” – ...“Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.” – ...
“Life starts all over again when it get crisp in the fall” F Scott Fitzgerald
(Pintrest Writer States)
Leaves turning orange yellow and gold, there is a chill in the air , warmth in the evening glow
It is the Last smile of nature, before the winter cold;
MAY THE COLORS AND WARMTH OF THE SEASON FILL YOUR HEART WITH JOY AND HAPPINESS
Yahoo writer speaking about Bath and Body works:
Nothing says “fall” quite like the smell of a warm pumpkin doughnut rolled in cinnamon sugar. Even if you’re not ready to trade your sandals for ankle boots or plan your annual late-September trip to the apple orchard, you can pick up a few scented candles that will make your living room smell like you’re already there.
Fall does represent the crispy air , blankets, , warm tea, pumkin spice, bright colors.......Life starts all over again inspite of our current challenges in our world today......and we need it! We need Change
Change is defined as:

a: to make different in some particular: ALTER 〈never bothered to change the will〉

b: to make radically different: TRANSFORM 〈can’t change human nature〉

c: to give a different position, course, or direction to

2 a: to replace with another 〈let’s change the subject〉

b: to make a shift from one to another: SWITCH 〈always changes sides in an argument

The word of God let us know that we are in a season of change as the Lord speaks to Moses to give the sons of Israel as well a Declaration of Change .
Leviticus 23:23–25 NASB95
23 Again the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 24 “Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘In the seventh month on the first of the month you shall have a rest, a reminder by blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation. 25 ‘You shall not do any laborious work, but you shall present an offering by fire to the Lord.’ ”
There are some things in our life that needs to change. You might not be able to change somethings, but there is something the Lord wants to change in us......We cannot let the world change us, but we should be engaged in changing the world through the Gospel of Jesus.......You keep on trying to do the same old stuff from last season, and it failed......We need to be in a season of Declaration where we begin to act in faith to the will of God .
Leviticus records the duties of the Levites. This book describes the role of sacrifice in God’s plan. Though mankind has sinned, God will accept a substitute for the death of the sinner.
John 1:29 NASB95
29 The next day he saw Jesus coming to him and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!
Leviticus deals with civic, ceremonial, sanitary, moral and religious lawsfrom God. The main purpose is to show that God is Holy and man is sinful.
Leviticus 11:44 NASB95
44 ‘For I am the Lord your God. Consecrate yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am holy. And you shall not make yourselves unclean with any of the swarming things that swarm on the earth.
If man recognize and obey, he is permitted to approach God and to learn God ways.

The last three feasts were all in the seventh month. The seventh month of the year was a very special month for Israel with these three feasts all scheduled for that month.
The Trumpets. The first special occasion for this seventh month was the feast of the trumpets.
Introduction , the season. “In the seventh month, in the first day of the month … a memorial of blowing of trumpets [shofars] (Leviticus 23:24). The time of this feast was the first day of the seventh month which was the beginning of the civil year. The religious year began in the month the Passover was commemorated.
Point 1 , Declare Rest.
“In the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath” (Leviticus 23:24). The trumpet feast included a special sabbath on the day the trumpets were blown

REST, NATURE OF

AS I travel through various large airports across the country, I regularly see chapels. That is interesting. Why do they put chapels in airports? The airport is full of people trying to catch a plane and trying to get to their destinations. Chapels are put in airports because the airport people know that folks are bringing their pain and problems with them, even as they are rushing to go to various places. In the middle of a busy airport, there is provided a place of rest. In the midst of the hustle and bustle and hectic movement, there is a serene environment where travelers can rest spiritually between destinations.764

In your soul God has erected a chapel—a place of rest.

Life is like airports, We need rest from the hustle and bustle of life.....

Sabbath

The day of rest laid down for the people of God. The OT treated the seventh day of the week (Saturday) as the Sabbath, a custom continued in modern Judaism. The Christian church, in recognition of the importance of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, observed a day of rest on the first day of the week (Sunday

SABBATH [Heb šabbāt (שַׁבָּת)]. The word “sabbath” designates in the Bible the weekly seventh day of festal rest which is a day of abstention from secular work that follows each six-day working week.

Dictionary of Bible Themes 7429 Sabbath, in OT

The Sabbath grounded in creation itself

Genesis 2:3 NASB95
3 Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.

24 This is the day which the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it.
This is the Day speaks of creation .........God Rested on the 7th day.......He wasn't tired, because Thuss said the Lord
Psalm 121:4 NASB95
4 Behold, He who keeps Israel Will neither slumber nor sleep.
Some of us, starting with me needs to shut it down......Them Jobs don’t really care about us......they’ll give you a certificate and some junk toy when you hit milestones and won’t barely say a word when we hit the tombstone…Jesus said He will give us rest, some of us want to be so busy , we need to be like John and lay your head on Jesus....be like Mary and sit at His feet.......If were going to this new season, we need some rest......Physical rest and Spiritual rest.......One thing about the fall its great sleeping weather.
Point 2 , Declare the reminder.
Trumpets were used to call an assembly or a call to war.
“A memorial of blowing of the trumpets” (Leviticus 23:24). This trumpet blowing was actually an announcement of the solemnity of the month in which the all important day of atonement occurred and the feast of the tabernacles occurred.

In the 2007 film The Bucket List, two terminally ill men—played by Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman—take a road trip to do the things they always said they would do before they “kicked the bucket.” Before the film’s release, Nicholson was interviewed by Parade magazine. Reflecting on his personal life, Nicholson said, “I used to live so freely. The mantra for my generation was ‘Be your own man!’ I always said, ‘Hey, you can have whatever rules you want—I’m going to have mine. I’ll accept the guilt. I’ll pay the check. I’ll do the time.’ I chose my own way. That was my philosophical position well into my fifties. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve had to adjust.

What are we putting to mind when we hear the sound of the Shopar? This preacher believes that the sound to the trumpet is sounded, it triggers solemnity, reverence and awe of God.....When we reflect and remember What the Lord has done for you????????
Hymn writer,,,,
When I think of the goodness of Jesus, and what he has done for me, my soul cries out, "Hallelujah!" Praise God for saving me

Joel 2:11 NASB95

1 Thessalonians 4:16–18 NASB95
16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
Daniel 7:13 NASB95
13 “I kept looking in the night visions, And behold, with the clouds of heaven One like a Son of Man was coming, And He came up to the Ancient of Days And was presented before Him.
In this season of Change, we need to remember the sound....Preach on the return of Jesus
Point 3- Declaration of Release ( Sacrifice)
When you sacrifice, its a commitment unto the Lord God......its not cheap.....but proportionate....

Cain and Abel offered sacrifices to God (Gen. 4:3–4)—Cain “of the fruit of the ground” and Abel “of the firstlings of his flock and of their fat portions.” Noah expressed his gratitude for deliverance from the Flood by presenting burnt offerings unto the Lord (8:20)
