Daniel’s 70 Weeks
God has given us proof that He can be believed, trusted, and His word is reliable
out of all the men who wrote the Bible, they are all telling one message
pointing to redemption in Jesus
9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, 10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:
Gabriel the angel brings to Daniel a very specific prophecy concerning the Israelites from God
At the time of Jesus If the the scribes were paying attention, they would have recognized that Daniel prophesied of this day
the Magi of the East recognized the star
Simeon the priest recognized Jesus as the Messiah
Anna the prophetess recognized Jesus also
so there are some people who are studying the scriptures
and are associating them with the times
Lets look into Daniel
24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
70 weeks are determined
weeks of years 490 years
25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

Nehemiah The king of Persia commanded the city be rebuilt
26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
7 + 62 = 69 69 x 7= 483
483 years x 360 days of a lunar year = 173,880 days

V 12 -13 declaring Jesus to be the Messiah
25 Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity. 26 Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.
V 14 - 15
9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.
there he is! the Messiah that is the sign.
Exiting times, the one the prophets told us about
V 16 unfortunately the disciples were confused
Jesus in the past told to keep this a secret
They did not see the prophetic implications of what was being done
and unfortunately there are a lot of Pastors and Christians who don't believe in prophecy
40% of professing Christians don't believe in the rapture
V 17 - 18
two crowds met and continued praising God
bringing the King into Jerusalem
V 19 the pharisees are losing control

Gods will will be done
35 And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?
37 Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.
Even Nebuchadnezzar acknowledged that God was king
27 Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
Gods will shall be done
the perfect timing of the triumphal entry
the perfect fulfillment of prophecies
knowing what the future plan of God is...
