What has been is what will be,
and what has been done is what will be done,
and there is nothing new under the sun.
Thesis:
Covid-19 times might seem new, but there is nothing new under the sun.
We are tempted to consider that we are worse off then others
That which happens under the sun is life, and God is fully in control of life.
There is nothing that catches Him off guard or unawares. We can fully trust that He is in control.
So even when things look new, there is one who knows, “What Will Be.”

God Seeks Those Who Chose the Proven Way
What gain has the worker from his toil? I have seen the business that God has given to the children of man to be busy with. He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man’s heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. I perceived that there is nothing better for them than to be joyful and to do good as long as they live; also that everyone should eat and drink and take pleasure in all his toil—this is God’s gift to man.
I perceived that whatever God does endures forever; nothing can be added to it, nor anything taken from it. God has done it, so that people fear before him. That which is, already has been; that which is to be, already has been; and God seeks what has been driven away.
God’s work is everlasting and to marvelous to comprehend.
We should be like the Psalmist...
Oh sing to the Lord a new song,
for he has done marvelous things!
His right hand and his holy arm
have worked salvation for him.
In the midst of times that Rock your Boat
We need to secure the boat
Stand firm in the Lord
We need to check our course
Make your calling and election sure
We need to improve our efforts
Edify your Faith with study and fellowship the work of the Church is still available to do in good times and bad
Don’t make excuses...
We are Foolish to Compare the Ages

Say not, “Why were the former days better than these?”
For it is not from wisdom that you ask this.
Only a life in God can you Experience a New Thing
Only a life in God can you Experience a New Thing
How long will you waver,
O faithless daughter?
For the Lord has created a new thing on the earth:
a woman encircles a man.”
God has truly done a new thing.
A child born form a virgin.
A man who has done things no man has done before Him or will do after Him
A King riding on a donkey, humble in Spirit, who makes no reputation for Himself, who serves instead of being served
One who masters the wind and the sea, who is master illness and death
A Messiah who sacrifices Himself for His enemies, who turns the other cheek
A Savior that the Grave itself could not hold
That is what is new and will never be done again
And the Lord seeks those who will follow those ways.

Behold, I am doing a new thing;
now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?
I will make a way in the wilderness
and rivers in the desert.
We have a Word that Sure
We have a Word that Sure
And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
What Will Be has been written down and you and I should pursue it!
