Pandemic who feels like the end. Is not in sight. I want to talk a little bit about the Sun. Not to suck what's playing for tired of being in the house, you're tired of being at home. You're tired of social distancing you tired of wearing some of you been through some things. We've lost jobs. We've lost family. But I want to give you a prophetic word on today that will lift your spirits because you got to know that God is in control. And so I want to just talk about the Sun. Not the Sun that shines down on us. Not that I object. That's in the sky. Not Sun. I want to talk about capital S O N I want to talk about the war that holds the sun and the moon and the stars and the sky and all of our lives in his hand for all of you who are going through. I got some good today that the sun is going to shine if we hold out.

Heavenly Father we just thank you and praise you.
That even though weeping may endure for a night. We thank you for the joy. Not the happiness because we know happiness is dictated by circumstances. But I Joy comes from loving you. I Joy comes from knowing you. I Joy comes from being in a relationship with iJoy. It comes from you being our presence of us being in your presence. We bow down to you. We thank you Lord.
But we have been through it. We had been under it. We have been around it. But we thank God that you are over it. Thank you Lord for all that. We are witness this far and I just ask that you would bless your people every family that's represented under the sound of my voice. There's some individuals going through some dire circumstances then we pray for healing.
There's some folks who don't know where their next meal is coming from.
We pray Lord God that you would provide.
Sometimes we got we feel like the dark days Overcomers. But we thank you that all we have to do is look past the Sun to the Sun. And know that the sun is going to shine on us. And so let your face shine upon us today. Grandma still favor and your mercy
help us to live bet on today than we did yesterday. Give us a word that will now only sustain us but will grow us in Christ. Oh Lord. We thank you for what you getting ready to do as a matter fact. We thank you for what you done? We thank you for all the things that we've been through because if we have been through those things we wouldn't know you the way that we do it. So we thank you. We praise you we love you. And so we asked right now that you will have your way in this word for it is yours. But we need to hear word Lord guy. We need to hear word that will transform us. We need to hear a word. That will discipline weight loss. We need to hear word that will lift us up encourage us. We need to hear word that will let us know that you are here with us. And so Lord have your way in this place that they have this have your way among the saints both near and far and long will be careful to give you all the praise our honor and the glory and it's in the Mighty the Magnificent and the Majestic name of Jesus that we declare all with certain teeth and confidence and all the people of God said together. We're in the third of our series from the book of Jude. something worth fighting for was the first sermon and really overall Fame and the next one was the last time since you know, there's a lot of discussion about the last times in in about some things that we have to do and some things that we have to ignore but now I just want to get to the end because everyone knows if you've been going to church for a while before you can leave church, you got to hear the benediction a man, you know, there's some folks that would tip out on you. A bear and put up that Baptist finger and they will miss the benediction because they don't want to have all that that that people around them. They don't want to hear all the rest of what's going on. But I need to tell you something that if you miss the benediction, that's what you miss your blessing.
You been to church and you listen to the the the choir you listen to the scripture. You pray is heard the sermon and you left before a blessing could be pronounced. Over your life and that's really what this scripture I want to end with is talking about. If you have your Bibles just go with me. I want to say Jew woman is only one Jews who is only ones you the book of Jude and it's just it's the last book before Revelations. And you know, it's a small book is only only 25 first is his only it's it's it's just if you blink you'll miss it, but I believe that from a cannon cannon type of perspective from a theological perspective is placed in the right place because you can't go and find out you can't go to the end of the story and find out what's going on what God has for you. Can you can't find out about the New Jerusalem and all those things until you stop by Jews? Because you have something to say if you going to make it to the next chapter, in fact, it should be that a prerequisite that you read you before you read Revelation because you have to understand that you need to contend for the faith that were Jews. That's what you says in first for that. We have to contend we have to fight for this favor and don't you know that it's even more contemporary in these times with Our Fate is being diluted and is being watered down at so we got to fight for the faith because we got some folks who are coming after us cuz we very much are in the last days the last days I really before Jesus come back and I I'm here to tell you that you need to get right before he comes back.

It was neither for me to write up to you and extort you that you should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered to you.
And what that suggests to us and I believe a major theme of this and you got to fight for your faith. That was the the series that was a title of it. That means that if we are in Christ Jesus that means that we are all contenders you fighting for the crown and I know that he's already giving you the victory but cut the devil is still out there seeking whom he might kill steal and destroy he's seeking to take your life. He's thinking a knock you out and so we have to understand that we have to know how to fight and if we are in Christ Jesus, I contend that we are contenders that we are Fighters and we're trying to get our belt amen. And so we have to learn how to fight. I remember some time ago Muhammad Ali Muhammad Ali one of the greatest Fighters pound-for-pound heavyweight, whatever one of the greatest Fighters Philosophers he he talked about fighting. Here's the thing about Muhammad Ali. He said if you are knocked down that don't doesn't mean that you lost a fight that if you fall that doesn't mean that is over as a matter of fact that we look over his record. He wasn't on the feet of heat fail sometimes but it was those defeat it was so strange that he failed that which made him such a great champion and see my brothers and my sister sometimes we got to go through some battles that we're not always going to be able to come out on top, but guess what when we began to waver when we get begin to Tita Tyler or we begin to topple when we begin to stumble God. Hold us if we just hold out. Cuz I've been it's been many a time where he was fighting a especially against Joe Frazier when he was taking some hits. That would have taken you with me out. But he kept on getting up he kept on fighting Joe Frazier was a great Champion himself. But to be a champion, you can't give it give up. You can't give in you can't keep falling that you have to the trick to being a champion is that you have to keep on getting off and I'm reminded the reason when the reason I brought this Bible, this is original African Heritage Study Bible. This is one of the first Bibles I got when I became a minister. It's a King James version because the old Deacon said you got to have a King James Bible. In the mama said you got to have a Bible with that have big words so that you can read when they call the Paul you. But the thing that's unique about this particular Bible is that it's it really it's the same as the Bible you have it if you look at it closely this Bible been through some things. It looks a little shiny on outside. Does it look shiny on outside the musician say it looks shiny on the outside if you look on the inside. The pages are waterlogged. And some of the pages you can't even see as a matter of fact, they had some notes in there where the something should be. And I say all that to say this that when we are fighting and when we are on the battlefield for Jesus Christ that sometimes just like this Bible that was almost destroyed by flood. I almost gave it up. I almost let it go. I said I had some other Bibles but I kept this Bible because it was a testament to how God can bring some things through God that even though you've been through the fire even though you've been through the flood even though you were Left 4 Dead that God still has some use for you. If only you pick yourself up. I picked this Bible up from the ground and the restores by my basement has flooded. There's a story behind that but I'm not going to have flooded and many of my books men in my library. It was gone. And this was I'd love this Bible and when I saw was waddle all that I was Give up on it and sister had told me why. And then I thought about myself. And if we were to be honest about it. There was somebody who left us for their who said that we had no more use but God said that is not over yet. I continue let me suggest to you that the reason that we are champions reason that we are Victor's a reason we are contenders not because we look so bright and shiny on Sunday morning. But because of what we went through on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Friday what we went through 5 years ago in years ago because of those things that's what gives us a character that we can contend for the face. Things will come up behind you. Just like we heard that noise. You wouldn't expect that. It will hit you upside the head and you don't even know what's going on and I would suggest to you that in these days that some of our faith has been compromised. That will look into our own face and said you was trying to warn about these folks that way if you save you ain't got to worry about the guy going to save you. Anyway, do do do your thing do whatever you want to do. I can't tell you who to Sock It To. Okay, that's Okay, y'all people don't pray pray for the passing of Champions because we believe that he has the victory. It doesn't matter where you put us, but the only way you can only place that you can put us as just at the Pearly Gates just before we get to heaven just before we get the Revelation. That's why the FED is for Family Faith said pastor that show verse. He's able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we can ask or think but I like this able he is able to keep you from falling.
He's able to keep you from stumbling. He's able to keep you from filling.
Let me put some context into this, you know, we fall in love we fall out of love we fall into trouble. We fall into the work we fall into all sorts of things. And the worst thing that we can fall into beside love fall in love is a wonderful thing falling out of love is not so wonderful. But the worst thing that we can do is fall in to send. Fall in the sand. That's what he was talking about. This was. Attack on apartment apostasy. In other words, that was a falling away from the church and some of you to say that. My sign revenescence that there's a falling away right now, but this is a time with this pandemic with the social injustice was a systemic racism that's going on that we need to come together. We need to know that there's a God who shows no partiality. We need to know that there's a guy who has no favoritism. We need to know that there's a God who stands for us. We need to know that there's a God who loves us no matter what we look like no matter where we been no matter what I background. We need to know that there's a God who keeps us and he doesn't look and put up put us in categories. We got a guy who is in love with us, despite all the stuff that's wrong with us. And he keeps us. Because he's falling in love he fell in love with us and I want to help somebody now that you fell all alone. You felt like nobody loves you God. Love you from the beginning. Remember, he told Jeremy that I created you. He said, how are they do I predestined you I knew you from the very beginning I gave you a gift and I love you. Even before your mama your daddy. Love you and I'll put you for as all those things that you going through Jeremiah. He said I destined you for those days. We guess what your reward is coming. Guess what your Crown of Life Is Coming guess what it may not look like it but your life and you'll testimony is going to save somebody your life and your testimony is going to bring somebody through even though it doesn't seem like it and that's it really should have been that he was talkin to Jeremiah. Joy comes up comes in the morning because Jeremiah Was are weeping prophet. He was weeping all day long, but guess what? This was over Joy came in.
The morning he is able to keep you from falling. Jesus is able to keep you from falling because Jesus is in love with you. He was in love with you before you fell in love with your part or anybody else with your church with anything else. Jesus was in love with you as a matter fact, he loves you so much. He came down just for you not just for me, but he came down for you. And here's the thing if he's able to keep you from falling. He looks and he sees Jeremiah Jeremiah was falling he kept on saying I had enough of this pizza, but dear God love them so much. He love God so much. He was in love of God. He said it's just that shut up in my bones. And when you really love somebody that far it never goes out is like a fight. You may get mad. You may get a little dismissive you may get this girl's you may even get indicted for that you have the people we
anger God so many times but he still. Loves us and he still. Keeps Us from falling I just I just wanted to say and I if she'll be obvious to you that he is a keeper. That he is not only kept you and check. I might talk about parents how you keep your your children and check but I'm talking about a guy who keeps you in check who keeps on reminding you even in the worst of times, even when it seems like nobody else understand. He is a guy he tells you he said I got you. He said you may feel like you falling. Have you ever been to a place where you thought it was the end and you was falling down and guess what his his his the sad news? And this is the true news that we all fall down to guess what when we fall down we go down. He picks us up. He doesn't flower.
And he does that he does that even know one that we got some things that are wrong with us. He does that even though we have some blemishes and so if you started with some what's on blemishes on your face of blemishes in your life guess what he is able to clear them up. He is better than any plastic surgeon because give what he says. He says I'm going to present you faultless. He says I'm going to present you without blemish and he does all those things so that you would know that he thinks that you are beautiful. He thinks that you are worthy. He loves you so much that he looks past your faults and all he sees your knees and see you can't see the Nissan outside because we are trying to pretend to be something else that will not but on the inside. He knows all about us on the inside. He knows what we're feeling and he says I'm a work some things out in your life. You may be falling but guess what? I'm a keeper. That's what I do. Imma keep the face. Imma keep you you don't have to fall because I got you because there's some place that you need to go. He says I got a place you in the presence.
Oh God, I got a present you without blemish.
other words he the same guy who delivered Joseph Who deliver Jacob Who deliver Abraham? is going to pick you up. It's going to dust you off going to remove those publishers. He's going to present you in the same course.

You thought that you was taking a detour? He said no, it takes a little bit to clean. Sometimes it takes a little bit more to clean some of us up. He said right now he said that I'm taking you so I can present you and see when you are in the presence of God when you are in the present when Jesus clean you up and put you there you can't be there sea on Earth. You got to go through something but when you get to heaven You got to have some George never what I said when you get to heaven all of God's children are going to be praising him. That's going to be Joy Eternal joy and I'll talk about a seedy joint. I'm not talkin about a birthday cake Joy because a birthday cake Jordan you blow out the candles you eat the food and it's you know, what makes a birthday. It's the people that you share with a memories that you have. It's the people who kept you and encourage you when you couldn't record yourself, but that's not is at the end. He says I'm a present you and you say you ought to have exceeded your by that time your joy should be complete. It ain't about happiness. We don't care about happiness because happiness will fade away happen. If you are have a hundred-dollar bill today, and if you liked me, it'll be gone tomorrow. But if you have joy in your heart that join emanation from your soul from deep down from your feet from your soles of your feet to the top of your hair to come out of you. It's a joy that is complete. He said he said you need to be understood you need to understand that I have told you all these things that Joe Joy might be complete you went through these things. Jesus tells you because he wanted your joy to be complete. It was about the journey so that when you got there you can have that gratitude, you know that you went through something sometime when you get these easy you don't really of the standing But that's not all he says. It's talking about how good God is is talking about what he does and see if you going crazy on you got to have a testimony. I'll be able to say something good about him. He's the only one that could have delivered you. He's the only one who could have brought you out. He is the only one he's the only wise God. What does the Bible says? It says he says and all your understand. He's at the lean not to your own understanding but you need to get wisdom gold wise God that could see you. He said to the only wise God I'll save you the glory and Majesty dominion and power both now and forever. You got to give him praise for everything that he is. Does anybody here know that he is Alpha and Omega that he is the beginning of a man that he is now and forever God that he is a keeper that he will fix your face that he will fix your soul that he will bring you through some things as anybody here know that God is able to change you God is able to deliver you God is able to bring you out. God can love you even though you don't love yourself. You want to keep a gun? That's what a keeper does. The pizza he is able to keep us even when we can keep our self and if you decide on anything, you need to stop all that. He is a keeper that he keeps your heart that he can show so that he keeps your family that he keeps the place that he keeps. You looked it up. He keeps the world that day that he keeps evil from invading your space that he is the Good Shepherd.

That keeps falling and feels like they can't get up. I want you to know that God is able. And so if you reach out your hand.
If you believe in your heart you confess with your mouth. If you lift up a hand he will pull you up. He will keep you from falling. If you want a relationship with God.
If you want him to come into your life, you just need to come.
And no matter where you are. You can come to New Hope. Is the best Church This Side of Heaven it's got a loving Spirit, but there's other churches. So wherever you are, make sure that you have a relationship make sure you're among a body of Believers that can encourage you that can lift you up. He is so good. So this is your moment. This is your time. You don't have to come over right now. I understand but the doors of the church remain open, but remember he's coming back. So time is running out. This is your moment.
