If you look on Amazon and enter in self help books did you know that you will find 100, 000 different books that amazon has to help you with whatever issue you might have. Look on television and just about every commercial and they are selling something you must have because it will make your life easy and it will relieve you of some burden, it will fix all of your problems. They have whole shows now that will get your life organized and therefore easier, help you with training your dog, to training your kids, to you name it. Take this peel or use this product and it will heal you of your pain, drink this drink or put this oil on this and it will heal of every thing. We are told to vote this party or this person and he or she will fix all of our problems. The world has lots of answers from problems, shortcoming, trials, and burdens in our life's but could the answer be much simpler. Do I really need all those things or do I just need one thing or more importantly one person?
Jesus Heals

And He healed many who were ill with various diseases, and cast out many demons; and He was not permitting the demons to speak, because they knew who He was.

Jesus does all things well!!! What disease, what sickness can he not heal? I really like the way Matthew lays these healing miracles out.
Not only does he give us 20+ miracles in Mathew but he gives these summary statements concerning his healings.
The news about Him spread throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all who were ill, those suffering with various diseases and pains, demoniacs, epileptics, paralytics; and He healed them.
When evening came, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed; and He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were ill.
ALL
Jesus was going through all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness.
But Jesus, aware of this, withdrew from there. Many followed Him, and He healed them all,
And when the men of that place recognized Him, they sent word into all that surrounding district and brought to Him all who were sick;
and they implored Him that they might just touch the fringe of His cloak; and as many as touched it were cured.
they came to him from far and wide with every kind of disease and sickness and he healed them all.
“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.
“Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
Are you weary and heavy laden this morning? What is weighing you down?
Sin
trying to fit in
living up to everyone expectations
emotional heartbreaks
traditions of men
depression
sickness
bodily frailties
sorrow
are you trying to carry those burdens yourself or are you coming to Jesus, and exchanging them for his light burden
If Jesus can heal every sickness and disease, if he can cast out demons, if he can calm the storm, walk on water, feed the crowds with 5 loaves and 2 fish, what can’t he do for you? What burden is to heavy he can’t lift. What trial is to large that he cannot help you overcome. What problem is so large that he cannot help you through it.
But you must come to jesus. The crowds in Mark were growing and they were coming to Jesus to be healed and that is exactly what we must do. we must come to Jesus and him alone. there is no other way than to come to jesus.
Jesu doesn’t offer us 4-fold path to peace giving us enlightenment, he doesn’t give us 5-pillars of peace through submission, he doesn’t give us 10 ways to relieve your weariness, Jesus simply offers himself as the universal solution to all that burdens us.
Jesus is the answer.
We must come to Him.
Test??? will we trust him, will we believe in Him; when and how will he do it, I don’t know he just promise that he will.
come to me all you who are weary and heavy laden
casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding.
the world tries to offer many ways, tools, technology to relieve us of our burdens but… Jesus is the one answer to every concern, very fear, and every need we have
maybe that s why the Psalmist says
My soul, wait in silence for God only, For my hope is from Him.
He only is my rock and my salvation, My stronghold; I shall not be shaken.
On God my salvation and my glory rest; The rock of my strength, my refuge is in God.
certainly Jesus takes our inconceivably and unbearably heavy yoke of sins condemnation and penalty, and offers us in exchange the easy yoke and light burden of simply putting our faith hope and trust in Him!
and began saying to Him, “By what authority are You doing these things, or who gave You this authority to do these things?”
And Jesus said to them, “I will ask you one question, and you answer Me, and then I will tell you by what authority I do these things.
