When what was lost if found, we are to rejoice and celebrate by telling others.
2 Kings 6:1–7 NASB95
1 Now the sons of the prophets said to Elisha, “Behold now, the place before you where we are living is too limited for us. 2 “Please let us go to the Jordan and each of us take from there a beam, and let us make a place there for ourselves where we may live.” So he said, “Go.” 3 Then one said, “Please be willing to go with your servants.” And he answered, “I shall go.” 4 So he went with them; and when they came to the Jordan, they cut down trees. 5 But as one was felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water; and he cried out and said, “Alas, my master! For it was borrowed.” 6 Then the man of God said, “Where did it fall?” And when he showed him the place, he cut off a stick and threw it in there, and made the iron float. 7 He said, “Take it up for yourself.” So he put out his hand and took it.
You are in a limited place so you need to have more.
You stepped out to build for what is next.
You lost something because something did not work out the way you planned.
The axe head represents your cutting edge.
When did you lose your edge?
When did you change the way you were doing things because what you tried first did not work?
When you lost that friend did it change you forever?
Did you lose something small but it meant something to you enough to lose your edge?
What we tend to do when you lose something we look to find a way quickly to never lose again.
Things lost:
Confidence
Bravery
Unconditional Love
Love
Trust
Hope
Faith
Connection
Belonging
Clarity
Peace
Optimism
Friendship.
Example:
Walt Disney was a great leader and visionary.
He called his employees imagineers and family.
One his original imagineers decided to go on strike, and it broke Walt Disney’s heart. From that day on they were employees not family anymore.

Matthew 18:11 NASB95
11 “For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost.
Jesus Came to restore what was lost.
Jesus came to save what was lost.
Jesus came to make whole what was lost even if what was lost was not whole.
Jesus came to connect you back to the mark that you were missing the mark.
Sin is missing the mark.
Jesus came to give you your edge back.
We should never fear being lost when we have Jesus with us.
We no longer have to prevent loss, we instead boldly live and let Jesus restore what we lose.
We have nothing to fear with the love of Christ within us.
We are not called to the life of loss prevention.
We are called to restore what is lost with Jesus Christ.
We just needed the right partnership.
Jesus Came to restore what was lost.
This Weeks Challenge: - Ask Jesus
Would You reveal where I lost my edge?
Would You how me where You are already restoring what was lost?
Will you restore what was lost?
