John 15:1–11 NKJV
1 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. 5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. 8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. 9 “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. 10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. 11 “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.
Our Focus Verse
John 15:2 NKJV
2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.

“Every branch that bears fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.”

Sanctification is the process of bearing more Spiritual Fruit.

God the Father helps us to grow by allowing us to see the things that don’t agree with his Character .
As Christians we are supposed to be Christ like.
We have a tendency to want to judge others and their spirituality, but we want grace for our own spiritual life.
we tend to judge others based on our expectations of them and resist others having expectations of us.
One thing is true. everyone who grows spiritually will be pruned. if you haven’t been through it either just haven’t been through it yet, or are not growing.
if you have been pruned then you will be pruned again.
please don’t run from the pruning process because it is the equipping for your destiny.

Pruning is a biblical, Pruning is Spiritual, Pruning is painful.

Hebrews 12:6–11 NKJV
6 For whom the Lord loves He chastens, And scourges every son whom He receives.” 7 If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? 8 But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons. 9 Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live? 10 For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness. 11 Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.

Chastening is Correction not abuse.

Galatians 6:7 NKJV
7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
The Lord Uses the sin in our lives to correct us.
God uses our weakness, shortcomings to empower us.
Empathy for others comes from our own Journey.
you have a purpose in God. your purpose is awesome!

We become sons when we receive correction

Hebrews 12:7–9 NKJV
7 If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? 8 But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons. 9 Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live?
Don’t give up on God. He has not given up on you.
Chastening is not punishment it is promotion.

We need to be kind to one another in this season.
