Acts 14, 19-20
context
vs 6 they left iconium, a devided place where there were people trying to kill them.
vs 8 they go to Lyster and paul heals a lame man.
vs 11 they Paul and barnibuss are Gods
vs 18 they are still trying to convins them that they are no Gods
Vs 19 Then some Jews came from Antioch and Iconium and won the crowd over. They stoned Paul and dragged him outside the city, thinking he was dead.
20 But after the disciples had gathered around him, he got up and went back into the city. The next day he and Barnabas left for Derbe.
We see Paul and barnibus haild as gods one minute and the very next vs they have turned on them and have stoned Paul to death.
these people from Antioch and Iconium, who did not exept the Good news of the gospel followed him.
they stured up the crowd so that they whent from loving paul and barnabas TO wanting to kill them in a moment.
same thing hapened to Jesus! when they could relise him or berabus Mark 15:11
Story
i remember been one of the leaders in the melbourne church and we had some challenges. we had one of the people woh was on leadership passaway and many other things that would caus us to stop running the melbourn church.
i was discoraged, i felt like i had failed
i didnt even know if i would pesue the ministry any more
but i had people get aroung me and encoraged me to continue.
wawa when i had moved back i was still strugelling a littel and i got a TEXT mesage from someone in melbourn it realy encoraged me
they Gatherd around them what did they say ?
