“Lord” - the term is Jehovah - YHWH - God’s divine name

“God” - the term is Elohim - majesty, the infinite nature of God

The God of Abraham, Isaac, & Israel (Jacob) - personal & histroical

The God of Israel - regardless of who the people worship

We are to be servants

This must be obvious today

Our actions show our obedience

We are to expect an answer

God does hear our prayers - 1 John 5:14-15

The answer reveals God - not luck or coincidence

The expected answer is God’s power and repentance
