May I begin by introducing you to 3 key words that connect with hope and bring Hope alive.
Redemption, Salvation, Restoration.
All connect Hope and bring Hope alive .
Today I invite you to journey with me thru a story that gives me much more understanding about redemption, salvation, and restoration.
Hope in the Lord Jesus Christ with the season of Advent upon us.
Hope - Hebrew term qawah - To wait or to look forward to with eager expectation.
Hope can be found in the saving of or Salvage value when we salvage something we rescue it from ultimate destruction. Salvage of Metal Motorcycles, Snowmobile, Grills.
My Story of Restoration with a Grill!
Snowmobile restorers always have like 10 projects they are working on. Why is that they cant seem to get enough of the restoration in their lives? Are they searching for something else? Are we searching for something else when we desire something to restore? Did God really wire us all this way?
What was the first thing I had to do in order to restore this old Grill? Redeem right? Purchase it.
REDEMPTION The release of people, animals, or property from bondage through the payment of a price. The Lexham Bible Dictionary

How do you redeem something in this world?
Redemption of the Grill was very self satisfying but at the end of the day its still a piece of steel.

I’m a member of a J-3 Cub Airplane Group, Vintage Snowmobile Group and vintage Motorcycle Group.
What do all of these groups have in common? Salvation and Restoration. They want so save things and make them like new again. Do you know anyone like that?
What drives all of this idea of wanting something old to look new again?
Why such hope in all the newness of the things that man makes?
Why does something restored give us some sense of hope?
Why do we want so many things to restore?
Do we just just want to strive for Perfection, is it the journey of making something old look new?
Do we like to see the results of our efforts once something completed?
Are we seeking a compliment from man about the great job we did completing the restoration?
Does it give you hope in what you are doing when you redeem, salvage, and restore something worldly?
Where did all of these desires come from?
Motorcycles and Snowmobile restoration brings to mind the good ole days of the yesteryear. How it makes good memories of yesterday pop up.
Salvation Greek meaning: Save Rescue Survive Deliverance
Root word Salvage are we a wrecked out old pile of junk heap? According to Romans 5 we are Gods enemies. So does this make us like junk to him?
Read Romans 5:8-10
8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him! 10 For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life.
Jesus offers us salvation thru his death on the cross as atonement for our sins. Romans 5:8

Restoration brings hope of New things to come
Restoration has rewards of hard work
Restoration rebuilds brokeness.

Brings more life to it
Makes it more efficient
Better performance
The objects ( grills, Snowmobiles, Airplanes, cars) I am referring to regarding restorations all have the potential to become stored up treasures on earth. What does God say about Treasures stored up on earth? Mathew 6:19-21

19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
God gave us all of the ability he had in his tool box.
Each and every one of us are a unique and special design. There are no 2 of us exactly alike even if we resemble one another. (Dopleganger). Therefore if he made us just like him with qualities and abilities to resemble all he has to offer each and every one of us we are to fit together like a puzzle and be called the body of God, (BIG JUNCTURE) How amazing is this? The more time I prepare and study Gods word the more I realize I know much less than what I thought I did. I can’t even fathem the amount of for-sight God had when he created Man and yet he is all knowing all seeing and able to be everywhere at once. Why would he give us the time of day? PAUSE Because it gives him Joy to see his Children at peace loving each other. I repeat Psalm 121:1,2. This give me hope that he has given us the option of salvation from the evil one, thru His son Jesus Christ the redeemer, and once redeemed a restored relationship with God the father because we believe His Son gave up his life here on earth for eternity in heaven with His Father.
With the season of Advent upon us we are hopeful to celebrate the Birth of our lord and Savior Jesus Christ who came to atone for our sins.
With the saving Grace of Jesus Christ we as Christians can have hope in Jesus thru his redemption for our sins He offers salvation and restoration once we say yes to him as our Savior. Jesus Christ freely gave himself over to be hanged on cross and die a the most humiliating kind of death to fulfill his Father plan in heaven. God said, It will be a sign and witness to the LORD Almighty in the land of Egypt. When they cry out to the LORD because of their oppressors, he will send them a savior and defender, and he will rescue them. (Is 19:20). he would send his son in order to save you and I from the sin we are so naturally born with.
If you haven’t given
our life to Jesus Christ today or had the opportunity to rededicate it to him I give you the opportunity to do just that today.
Whether you’re a believer for a while or have never said yes to accept Jesus Christ as your savior i give you the opportunity to do so today. If you confess with you mouth and believe in you heart that Jesus Chris is lord then you can be saved from all eternal separation from God. IF you Pray the sinners Pray with me you can be assured of your hope in salvation of your soul from eternal separation from our Father in Heaven. Father I come before you and confess I am sinner in need of saving. Lord Jesus please forgive me for my sins. I believe you are the one and only son of God and I ask that you come in to my heart and save my soul. I confess that you are the one and only son of the most high God and believe you are God the father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Thank you father for saving me. AMEN!! If you just prayed that pray with me and believed what you just prayed for you can have the Hope of one day being with him for eternity. Now for a song that will fill us with all the Hope we need here on this planet Earth.
