Proposition:  God’s desire is for us to be satisfied in what He gives.

I.                    Rejects who God is

a.       Gives the right to possess

                                                              i.      Psalm 115:16, Matthew 5:5

                                                            ii.      But the limit is to hold onto your possession and do not take from others

III.             So What?

a.       What is theft?

                                                              i.      Possession of that which does not belong to you

1.      Theft vs. armed robbery

a.       In a digital age this has increased and become quite frequent – Music, Movies, Sermons

b.      Overcharging, underpaying others

c.       Anything that violates this concept of how we are to live

                                                                                                                                      i.      Ephesians 4:28

b.      Need to be forgiven

                                                              i.      Repentance to others – Not just stop stealing, but live in a way that gives back to those who are in need

                                                            ii.      God is in the business of forgiving (I Corinthians 6:11)
