Jesus has gone back to His Fathers house to prepare a place for us
Jesus has returned to Heaven
In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places; but if not, I would have told you, because I am going away to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself, so that where I am, you may be also.
and he also preparing His bride
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for her; in order that he might sanctify her by cleansing her with the washing of water by the word; in order that he might present to himself the church glorious, not having a spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she may be holy and blameless.
when the time is right He will return for her
Now we do not want you to be ignorant, brothers, concerning those who have fallen asleep, so that you will not grieve as also the rest, who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, thus also God will bring those who have fallen asleep through Jesus together with him. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who remain until the Lord’s coming, will not possibly precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout of command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who remain, will be snatched away at the same time together with them in the clouds for a meeting with the Lord in the air, and thus we will be together with the Lord always. Therefore comfort one another with these words.
and we will have new bodies
But I say this, brothers, that flesh and blood is not able to inherit the kingdom of God, nor can corruption inherit incorruptibility. Behold, I tell you a mystery: we will not all fall asleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the blink of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For it is necessary for this perishable body to put on incorruptibility, and this mortal body to put on immortality.

It’s ok to ask questions, to be in doubt
Jesus manipulated the conversation for questions to be asked
some times when you try to tell something, you first have to get their attention

Billy Graham on the ‘Hour of Power’ show saying that people can get to Heaven another way besides through hearing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and then repenting and believing the Gospel. He basically says that ‘good’ and ‘sincere’ people who know nothing about Christ are on their way to Heaven.

Dr. Schuller: "Tell me, what is the future of Christianity?"
Dr. Graham: "Well, Christianity and being a true believer, you know, I think there's the body of Christ which comes from all the Christian groups around the world, or outside the Christian groups. I think that everybody that loves Christ or knows Christ, whether they're conscious of it or not, they're members of the body of Christ. And I don't think that we're going to see a great sweeping revival that will turn the whole world to Christ at any time. What God is doing today is calling people out of the world for His name. Whether they come from the Muslim world, or the Buddhist world, or the Christian world, or the non-believing world, they are members of the body of Christ because they've been called by God. They may not even know the name of Jesus, but they know in their hearts they need something that they don't have and they turn to the only light they have and I think they're saved and they're going to be with us in heaven."
Dr. Schuller: "What I hear you saying is that it's possible for Jesus Christ to come into a human heart and soul and life even if they've been born in darkness and have never had exposure to the Bible. Is that a correct interpretation of what you're saying?"
Dr. Graham: "Yes it is because I believe that. I've met people in various parts of the world in tribal situations that they have never seen a Bible or heard about a Bible, have never heard of Jesus but they've believed in their hearts that there is a God and they tried to live a life that was quite apart from the surrounding community in which they lived."
Dr. Schuller: "This is fantastic. I'm so thrilled to hear you say that. There's a wideness in God's mercy."
Dr. Graham: "There is. There definitely is."
Jesus says I Am the way, the only way
As God the creator of the universe
the one who makes the rules
has established the only way to eternal life
a password has to be precise to work
all others wont get you anywhere
All other religions are satanic lies to deceive people into thinking that there are many paths going to heaven
Reforming our selves will not bring us closer to God
honestly believing in a lie will not
Having faith in anything other than Jesus will not

This is our human condition. We are alienated from God, ignorant of the truth, and condemned to spiritual and eventually physical death. The glory of Christ’s claim is in its being a divine answer to our problem on each of these three levels. Instead of alienation, there is “the way” to God. Instead of ignorance and error, there is “the truth.” Instead of death, there is “the life.” So this text is actually the gospel, the good news of God.
We need our sin removed, not just balanced out
our righteousness needs to be the same as the Father’s

Truth is life changing
For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any double-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, both joints and marrow, and able to judge the reflections and thoughts of the heart.
The Life
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Regeneration to be made alive
Lazarus came to life when Jesus called to him
Jesus is the source of life
But God, being rich in mercy, because of his great love with which he loved us, and we being dead in trespasses, he made us alive together with Christ (by grace you are saved),
Jesus brings us to life

the only life
if you are trying to get to heaven in any other way but through Jesus
its not the way
its a lie
and you remain dead
Will you come to Jesus and put your trust in Him?
