Last Week Review
Last week, we have talked about the Holiness of God.
Holiness of God is the one of God’s unique characters that distinguishes Him from this world.
And the basic meaning of the holiness is God’s perfect purity and sinless. f
In the bible, many passages clearly tells us that there is no sin in God Himself.
Look at the book of 1 John 3:5.
New American Standard Bible: 1995 Update Chapter 3
5 You know that He aappeared in order to btake away sins; and cin Him there is no sin.
John says there is no sin in the son of God Jesus.
Again, 1 Peter 2:21-22, one of Jesus’ disciples Peter says

21 For ayou have been called for this purpose, bsince Christ also suffered for you, leaving you can example for you to follow in His steps,
22 WHO aCOMMITTED NO SIN, NOR WAS ANY DECEIT FOUND IN HIS MOUTH;
Here, the word of God clearly tells us that Jesus committed no sin, nor was any deceit found in His mouth.
In other word, God never lie. Therefore, we call him trustworthy and faithful God for his word never fail.
Now, how about yourself?
Have you ever commited any kind of sin? Of course.
Do you remember any sin you have commited lately? No worries. I am not going to ask you what it was.
However, I would like to share one of my sin that I have made lately.
I think it was end of last year. After my treatment at dental clinic in California, I felt hungry. And my four kids also got hungry.
So I asked them what they want to have. And they said they want to have crispy cream donut.
So, I googled it and found one nearby the dental office. I drove quickly to the place and finally I lined up in the drive through.
Now, when I got my turn to order, the clerk suddenly asked me a short question.
She simply said this. Are you driver? So, I answered Yes I am driver. And the reason why I said I am driver is because at the moment I was driving my car.
But, when I said that she gave me one dozen of donut for free.
So I was surprised and asked her why she gave me a free donut.
And she said since covid 19 happened, many truck drivers works hard for lots of delivery.
For this reason, crispy donut begins special encouraging event for those drivers. And that was the free donut event for them.
After saying this, she brightly smiled at me and encouraged me to have donuts joyfully.
So, now guess what I did?
Yes, I said thank you so much and I took the free donut box and enjoyed with my family.
But, after few seconds, I felt guilty and sinfulness in front of God and regretted my unfaithful action.
Guys, as you get order and order, you will face way much more chance to commit sin. Just as I mentioned last week, Satan will lead you to commit various sins in your life.
Look at the 1 Peter 5:8.

8 aBe sober-minded; bbe watchful. Your cadversary the devil dprowls around elike a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
Here, Peter says, Satan will deceive people of God as many as he can just as roaring lion seeks his prey.
And surely most of you will experience painful fails in your life after you commit all different kind of sinful mistake in your life.
By the way, you remember God says He is holy and thus we shall be holy.
And here is the reason why He commands us to be holy.
Look at the Matthew 5:16. Here, Jesus says this.

Matthew 5:16
16 “Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may asee your good works, and bglorify your Father who is in heaven.
Here, we see God wants us to glorify Him in our lives through shining our light before men.
But, as we looked at the original condition of human being, there are no one who does good and righteous.
And in the book of Hebrew 9:27 says this.

Hebrews 9:27
27 And just as oit is appointed for man to die once, and pafter that comes judgment,
All human being is to die and there will be judgments of God.
