Authentic worship is Reverent

Hallowed be Your Name

/You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God,/

Even God’s name is sacred and so requires reverence and respect.

It isn’t appropriate to speak light of dignitaries in their presence—God?

We are to hallow God always.
How much more in worship.

Don’t by-pass God’s holiness to get to His love.

Celebrate His holiness: Exalt the LORD our God and worship at his footstool; he is holy.
