Why do we gather together?
Why do we gather together?
What has the spirits of darkness tried to get the church to be labeled as?
Judgmental, a place of division, weirdos, a place of disconnection, fake, a place where hidden sin lies, people who put on like they have together but have secrets.
What Does Jesus label the church as?
A people of Love, A people of unity, a people of character, a people of connection, Authentic, A people of truth who have no need to hide and submit on their own to authority and hold themselves accountable to others.
So often God is doing the exact opposite of the darkness is doing.
Fruit of gathering together in Jesus name:
-So our minds will become transformed to the mind of Christ.
-Connection. people stories
-Unity.
-Love for Him and love for others.
-The character of Christ will rub off onto you and your life.
Father God likes to give gifts when the people gather together in the name of Jesus.
Holy Spirit was poured out to a group gathered.
Jesus fed 5000 who gathered.
Jesus washed the feet of His disciples who gathered.
No wonder there are evil dark spirits who do not want the church people of God to gather together in His name.
A Song of Ascents, of David. 1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brothers to dwell together in unity! 2 It is like the precious oil upon the head, Coming down upon the beard, Even Aaron’s beard, Coming down upon the edge of his robes. 3 It is like the dew of Hermon Coming down upon the mountains of Zion; For there the Lord commanded the blessing—life forever.
God commands His blessing to the place of dwelling together in unity.
It is time for us to intentionally gather together at all costs.
It is time for us to seek unity even in our differences.
More than anytime in my life, now is the time to make coming together a priority. I believe that Jesus wants to give His bride a more extraordinary, and that happens in the gathering together in unity.
There are weapons formed against you determined to stop you from getting what Jesus has for you. Those weapons are most effective when you come into agreement with lies.
Those weapons formed against you will have no effect when you embrace the Truth and we do that together.
Closing:
Three gifts Jesus wants to give us today, Healing, Faith, and Hope.
