God has decided, for his own good reasons, that people are not transformed outside of community
It is only in community that we discover who we really are and how much transformation we still require
So when Jesus came, he chose twelve men to be his disciples. To teach and to train them how to take the gospel of Jesus Christ and spread around the world.

2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,
3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.
4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.
Suffering comes from many different sources
Even from our own mistakes
But whatever the source, transforming believers do not complain
They do not seek pity, do not become embittered
Rather they listen, trust, and offer the experiences for the benefit of others
If you're going to be a good disciple sometimes suffering is part of the package. James says count it all joy when you fall into various trials

Transforming Christ's followers look for opportunities to Share the gospel with others. (Friends and family)
They can't wait to share the excitement of what Christ is doing in their lives
They are quick to turn a negative into a positive and give God the glory
If you're not experiencing this: Ask God to renew a right spirit within you

Our default pattern is to simply receive, to take, as if we are entitled to and deserve the generosity of others. (Do you know anyone like that?)
God wants us to be disciples that walk through the day looking for things to be thankful for
With each expression of thanks, the disciple affirms value for what someone or God himself has done
As disciples, we should be believers that no human transaction is complete until it is covered with appreciation

Disciples bring people together. Transforming Christians go into action when they see dividing walls that separate people
We need to remember that were fighting a spiritual battle, and the weapons in our warfare are not carnal but mighty in pulling down strongholds.
That's when you want to go up to the high places and tear the devils kingdom down! (Ron Kenoly)
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.

We need to learn to be passionate about the reconciliation of others
Let Brokenness and experiences of the past, Help you to help others pull down strongholds in their lives
