Our gracious. Father in Heaven, how thankful we are that we can come before you, the Mighty God, who is our Lord, and our King. And we come together to praise you and give you glory for your the mighty one in every way. So father be with us and bless us with your presence in Jesus name. Amen. Cambria

In Christ. He is my life. Water. Stone this. Solid Ground.

Hi, Johnson and cries so long. I've got plans.

listing for his mom, but with the precious blood of Christ, No guilt and no fear in. This is the power supposed to try to find Jesus commands can call

All right, I reading this morning is taken from the book of Acts chapter 13.

Says, in the church at Antioch, they were prophets and teachers, Barnabas Simeon called Niger Lucius of siren. A minion who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch and saw. And while they were worshiping the Lord and fasting. The holy spirit said, set apart for me, Barnabas and Saul, for the work to which I have called them. And so after they had fasted and prayed, they Place their hands on them and sent them off, you know, in very much like Paul and Barnabas were sent off. So we're Brian and Jennifer have come to join us today and speak out to us about God's eyes in the work that's going on in the world of because of the efforts that God has Guided them through and so were excited to hear that and look forward to that. As far as prayer request go, that's pray for all those Travelers that are out and about today. There are many and also as most of you know, Tanya goes in for surgery on Tuesday and the prayer is that this will be the final one. That actually brings to a close. This 13-year episode, she's been on. So let's go to prayer. Our gracious Father in Heaven again we thank you that we can come before you and you're the great God who watches over our laws. We thank you that you love and care for each one who is called upon your name and trusted in you as Lord and savior. And father as always a great desire on our hearts is for the lives of those of our community who who don't know you, who are long and who are bound for a destiny. That is destructive for all eternity. And so we pray for their lives. Father, may you touch each of our hearts that is we are out in the midst of our friends, or neighbors that we would Faithfully carry with us, the presence of the Living God, and be able to express that through words and encouragement to seek you out. We also pray for your work around the world. Father, we want to remember those who are traveling who are out and about and enjoying the summer months. And we pray that you would be with them that you would guide them safely and all their Journeys that you would bless their moments and times. And then father for those who are going through the struggles and trials, like Tanya and Kane, we pray that you would be with them. Father, we've been praying a long time for this process that Tanya has been going through it. So father, we pray that after this surgery that it truly would bring final healing to her body. May you touch her by the power of your spirit. We know, the doctors have wisdom and understanding what needs to be done but Truly, you're the Healer and so we trust in you to bring that about. Lord. We also want to remember the unspoken request that each person has lived burdens that are laid upon their hearts, in terms of their own lives or the lives of others, they know of circumstances. Father, you know, which one for your the God, who sees all things, who knows us intimately. And so we pray for your hand of touch on each of those people for their desires. For their needs. MN father. As we continue on in this service. We pray that your Mighty Spirit would be here to bless and guide. Our moments, may you be a strong force in our lives. We ask this in your precious name. Amen.

Beautiful living. One of the branches wonderful counselor.

Play My Savior and friend. Jesus name above all names, beautiful savior.

Thank you for Cambria for willing to step up there. I know I Niagara softball game. We were accepted and thank you for Mary stepping in as a Pianist

Well you know when I was a missionary overseas it was always fun to have the opportunity to see the people that actually helped along the way and it was good for each of them to hear what God was doing in our world. And so today we have that wonderful opportunity. Ryan would you come on up? Brian Kaiser is with God's eyes and he's going to tell you what's going on in the world of God's eyes. And I am so thankful for the opportunity and his willingness to come here and speak to us. It's quite a journey to get to here to powers, and his willingness, and Jennifer's willing this. I asked him to introduce Jennifer, so that will be the case. But let's welcome him here.

Let me pray to get us started here gracious. Father in Heaven how we thank you for Brian and his willingness to set his life aside and to accept the challenge that you gave to him and that for Jennifer doing that as well. And we pray that you would bless us richly by the power of your spirit, working through, Bryant to help us to know what you're doing in the world. This day, bless us. Oh, Lord. In Jesus name. Amen. And you're on.

Good morning, everyone. And that we are done. And I live outside of Atlanta, Georgia and is a 5 hour and 15 minute flight up to Portland. And I thought I can be in Ecuador with quarters. So, this is a foreign country to us or at least Portland, anyways. I'm going to tell you my story today. I've learned, as I've traveled the world. Everyone has a story, even ladies and garbage, dump have stories and I find them fascinating, and I have one too. So let me just go ahead and share that with you. And Lord, I just want you to be honoured and lift it up and Clark Five, because without him, none of this would have happened. I I have no Seminary training whatsoever. I am I never ever imagined I'd become a missionary after college. I went into the optical field and made that my career and I'm going to start my story when I'm 47 years old and at 47. I'm, I'm living in a place called Peach. Tri-City Georgia Peachtree City is a upscale Suburban neighborhood where everything is beautiful and every yard is perfect and their swimming pools in tennis courts in a hundred miles of golf trails. And I'm living the dream I guess and I'm at church one Sunday and I'm sitting in that section back there. So be careful guys, this might happen happen to you.

and the pastor was talking and I would say at this point in my life, I've got what I called in a going in churchianity went to church every Sunday and we brought a check in there, would be some years, we'd even host. Small group, Bible studies in her home, so I thought I was doing everything I needed to do for God. And I was really comfortable in, in my situation. But one day, the pastor use the word legacy in a sentence and for some reason that were just jumped out at me and I begin to ponder. What might Legacy would be? and, I've heard it said that you're rarely prepared for the moment that changes your life. Well, this was going to be my moment because that day, I actually said a prayer from the Pew and I said, Lord, what is my legacy going to be? I know what I wanted it to be. We're going to open up our fourth Optical and retire early and go to a Ruben play. Golf every day and lay on the beach and drink umbrella drinks. And A missionary friend of mine told me that would have been really boring, but I like that kind of boring and I guess so. But when I asked the Lord, that day want my legacy was going to be something happened. That it wasn't expecting and this is where you going to think I'm crazy, but I Heard a Voice come out of nowhere. And he answered that prayer and he said you're going to make eyeglasses for the world's poorest people. Now.

I was pretty shocked because in my career early on, I decided my opticals would make eyeglasses for the world's wealthiest people, you know, I still don't know why people make glasses for $49 when you can make them for $800 and make a lot more money that way. So to make eyeglasses for poor people and never even ever entered my mind, but I heard this voice and now that I was sure. And I know judge my wife and I got, I'm going to make eyeglasses for the world's poorest people. I was shocked and Jen goes, that's nice. Steer now, shut up and listen to the pastor.

I think she said something similar, anyways.

But I can hear the pastor say it another word. All I heard was blah, blah blah, blah, blah, cuz something that just happened. I just heard a voice come out of nowhere. Telling me what I was going to do And I, I just was shocked, the rest of that, the service and I went home and I had to look up how many poor people need eyeglasses in the world. Well, you know, there's a thing called the internet may have every answer. Thank you, Al Gore, by the way, for inventing that. And Google. Google the World Health Organization and they had said they get estimated that 517 million people exist in the world who need eye correction. That will never get it because they don't have the resources and another site, Oxford Medical University. That is over a billion people who need, I care that we'll never get it and then other sources went all the way up to 2 billion people. And I start going well, that's just too many people I can possibly do that. So I just dropped it. And when, you know, I was kind of shocked from Hearing a voice that just blew me away to just going. I'm not going to do that. And I'm but three weeks later, my wife, one night, Jennifer sad, honey. I have to talk to you and it seemed like there was urgency in her voice. So I said, okay what what is it? And she goes well, I want you to know I Googled medical missionary groups today and I wrote them and I told them you would make them free eyeglass.

And I know why why did you do that for? And my next line was this, you know how much it's going to cost us? Any guys that relate with that in her, you know, I was working the plan. I had, you know, this plan that retire early and go to Aruba and this is going to interfere with that greatly and but it had been done so You know, what, when I said, why did you do that? Jennifer said in the least kind of sending in the most loving way. She said I did it because when the Lord tells you to do something, you should do it. And those words hit me right in the heart. And I thought, I'm the spiritual head of the household. I should be saying those words. Not her, having to tell me those words. Well, After that, I started praying that Gmail would shut down my email so no one could respond to those offers of hers. And but something funny happened, nobody responded, because I thought, if you offer something for free, millions of people are going to say, I don't have one, but three weeks again, later, I got an email from a doctor in Honduras, an American Doctor Who is doing missionary, work in Honduras. And she said, if you would help us would be great. This would be a god at the people. I serve here are so poor when I tell him they need glasses. They can't afford them.

So, this created a big dilemma in my life because I've got what I believe to be a clear calling from what the Lord wants me to do. And now I've got a real life person. He's expecting me to do that. The only problem is, I don't want to do it. You know, I can't figure this out from a business point of view that this would be a good thing, you know, and have to work longer. It would cost me money to make the classes and ship them out and and to do it for free. That would make no sense at all. So I just was fighting at and then appoint, my life came, where I could no longer sleep through the night interrupted sleep every night. Cuz I just kept hearing, what the Lord was saying over and over, make eyeglasses for these people, help them, help them. And weeks of lack of sleep went by. I didn't fall asleep at work sometimes because I'd be so over tired from not sleeping, and I was fighting it in fighting it, and then one night,

I didn't hear this anymore. I just heard it in my mind that I was to read Matthew chapter 6, verses, 22 and 23. And I kept hearing that over and over Matthew 6:22 and 23 over and over and over. So about 3 a.m. I got up and then went to my library and I got out of Bible and looked it up and it said the lamp is the lamp of the body. If your eye is good, your body is full of light. If the eye is bad, your body is full of Darkness. If the light in you is in darkness than how a terrible is that Darkness now Jesus spoke those words to thousand years ago and he was referring to the eye in the spiritual sense. But at that moment, I realized it apply to the physical as well. Cuz if you can't see, you're in darkness and how terrible would that be? And something just clicked that night and I remember going, okay, Lord, I'm going to do this, I don't want people to be in darkness. So the next day, I emailed, the only Doctor Who had ever responded her name was dr. Valerie Colby, remember that name for a moment? Valerie Colby. And I said, okay, I'll help you. Where do I send supplies to? And she emailed me back, and here's what it said. Our address is the blue building with the two bushes with the white sign. With red letters are in it near Armando's.

That's what it. Oh, sometime later somehow. I got a phone number for her and I called her. And I said, well, her next line by the way was, there are no address that's where I live. So, when I called her up, I got you don't have an address, how do I send you supplies? And she has, I don't know. You wrote me some big group or something, you know, and I got what they have FedEx UPS or DHL they know DHL and I got one, how do I get stuff to you? I don't know. And that ended that phone call. So I was wondering why God would make it so clear that I was supposed to help her and that he had her call me specifically or write me and but then I realized in the natural mind, I figured it all out and I doubt this is an Abraham. Isaac moment. God was just testing me to see if I'd be willing to do it. And I said, yes, so God Pat me on the back to send me a t-shirt. I was willing, you know, and I dropped the entire thing. I said that's all I want. Sometimes the Lord doesn't leave you alone though, because this is a couple months later, our Pastor said the national missionary convention for the Christian churches is being held in Atlanta Georgia. This year anyone who wants to become a missionary or interested in missions should go to this conference. Well, I don't want to go to that conference but the Lord wanted me to go cuz here comes those sleepless nights again. The Pastor said the conference is Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. All week long. The Lord kept going to go to that conference. Go to that conference and I'm going like I'm not going to go, I don't want to go I don't want to go and Wednesday night comes for the conference starts the next day. And I told the Lord, I got Lord, you know, I can't go. I've got patients coming in today and they're only going to want to see me so I can't go to work today. Thursday night, I can't sleep. And it getting a large going to go to that conference when I go Lorde. It's Friday. Tomorrow Fridays. My golf day. And now everything's going so good in my life. I get to go golfing on Friday and I got it or I'm not going to go to stupid missionary convention when I could be playing, golf. I played golf instead. Friday night I can't sleep. The Lord's going to go to that conference. Go to that conference. I only early in the morning. I wake up and I go. All right, I'll go, I'll go. And I wake Jennifer up and I go babe, I got to go to that stupid missionary conference and she jumps out of bed, she runs she gets my coat, my hat, my gloves, like you should go to go to see what God's got a plan for your life, and then she went back to bed.

I thought she'd come with me, you know, so I'm driving all the way to the missionary conference. It's a 45-minute drive from our house and I am complaining to myself the whole way there. Now at this point in my life, even though I go to church, I don't know any missionaries. I know what they do. And I don't want to do that, you know, and I know it doesn't pay anything, so I'm just complaining to God the whole way there and I'm coming. Lord, there's probably going to be like 50 missionaries there. And men are going to have black suits on in stupid-looking ties. And women are going to have big roof on hairdos and wear lot of makeup. That's what I thought of missionaries back then. And And I go I don't I don't know who I'm supposed to see, Lord. I don't even know why you're making me come here and but when I got there, I was totally wrong. There were 7,000, people at this convention, in 600 missionary groups, were exhibiting in the exhibit hall. And I thought to myself, this is just like I convention. I didn't know missionaries did stuff like this. And then I go. Now I really don't know who I'm supposed to see here. So for some reason, the story of Gideon came to mind and if you're familiar with the story of Gideon's fleece, you know, how he thinks. God has told him to do something so he says, make my fleece wet. And everyone else is dry. And I'll know it's from you Lord. And then so God does that then he goes well, maybe that was just luck. So make mine dry and everyone else is wet. So God does that still doesn't convince him. So he goes off. Make my white again and everyone else is dry. Finally God does that in that convinces, that Gideon. That is from God. So I just remembered that story and so I go oh, I'll come up with Brian's please. I'll make my own conditions up. So, I am. I told got to go kick here. Here's here's what we're going to do. God, have you ever done that? Tell God what we're going to do. I said I'm going to walk around this exhibit and I'm not going to talk to anyone. I'm just going to look and see if there's some groups that have anything to do with getting eyeglasses to poor people and if so I'm going to write their name down on a piece of paper. And this I really said this, I got and then afterwards I'm going to find a quiet corner and I'm going to pull out the list and you will illuminate the name on the paper. If you do that, I'll know this is from you. So that's what I did for 4 hours. And 10 minutes, I walked around this exhibit hall and I avoided eye contact with anyone until I'm in the very last throw in a nice missionary lady stepped out in front of me and says hi what are you doing here? And I got I have no idea what I'm doing here. And I got, I think I'm supposed to make eyeglasses for poor people and I don't know who I was supposed to see here and she cuz I know exactly who you're supposed to see. There's a group here called Fame. It's an acronym for Fellowship for the advancement of medical evangelist. And she cuz you're supposed to see them and I pulled out the paper that I had in my pocket and I held it up to her and The Only Name I had written on that paper with Spain and it was glowing, no, that would have been good.

And I guess she thought I was looking for him and she goes. Well, they're about halfway down the exhibit called about 20 rows back. And so I walked over there, And this time, I talked to the man in the boots and he goes, can I help you? And I go, I think I'm supposed to make eyeglasses for poor people but I don't know who I'm supposed to help and he goes, I know exactly who you're supposed to help. Now that's the second time I heard that in like 3 minutes and I'm going, where were you guys 4 hours ago? And turn around here. Anyways, I go Okay. I'll play along. Who am I supposed to help? And he takes his finger and he hits me right in the chest and you are supposed to help. Dr. Valerie Colby in Honduras. That's what I did. And I can't even talk for like 2 minutes and any of you who would know me, would know, that's a world record for me. So I When I could talk I got I know that I know of this doctor. We've been riding, we don't know how to get stuff back and forth to each other. And he goes, well, our group goes down there several times a year. If you will send your supplies to Indianapolis, Indiana will hand deliver them to her and I just grabbed his business card and I walked out. I left the convention and I looked up to the sky and I said you really want me to do this, don't you? And I didn't know what that was the moment that Gods eyes Ministry started. So, I went home. And I'm I contacted dr. Valerie Colby. And I said, I have a way of getting stuff there. Send me your orders. So she started sending me orders and examine the poor people there. Send me the orders and I would make glasses for her and ship them back via Fame through. Indianapolis Indiana. And then the Lord would just two more as time went on. We found out a pilot out of a Dallas Texas who flew them underwear. It's regularly and would go visit Doctor Kobe and she began to take more supplies in and then I got a call from another doctor in Haiti. And this doctor said, can you help me to somehow she heard about? And I don't care. But go easy on me. This is all on my nickel, guys. You know, this is, you know, an expensive here now. And she started sending me these huge orders for many, many, many pairs of glasses. So, anyways, I kept telling them. And eventually I started, you know, I know this is a good thing that I'm doing but not really thrilled about all this and now, and our associate pastor at a church. When they said, do you want to go down to Honduras? And meet dr. Valerie Colby. And I come? Yeah, yeah. That would be good if I could meet her. I would then I can know whether my glasses are really being used down there or not. So he arranged the crew through Fame and we took about a dozen people down Honduras and this is 14 months after I started sending supplies and I thought this would be really good because now I'll see who these glasses are going to. And now this whole thing's working. And anyways, we go down there and I see poverty. Like I've never seen before. How could I I live in Suburbia in? Are you just don't see that, you know, and

It was tough. And, you know, the very first night we had a meeting and dr. Valerie Colby, and her husband said, you know, we have to tell you guys have a few things. First of all, you can't flush toilet paper here and I'm gone like you can't.

What do you mean? You can't flush toilet paper. This is 2007. Throw it in the garbage basket next to the toilet, you know? And she goes, in fact, you can't even flush the toilet at all. Until someone tells you take a bucket of water and splashing in there. Well, you know, I grew up in Suburbia my whole life in America. I never knew of such practices. You know, I wasn't even a Boy Scout, I didn't even know Barry's did stuff in the woods, you know? And now the Lord sending me, you know, and I have no natural inclinations to, to being a missionary no skills. I can barely speak English. And now, and now you can just send me all over the world, other places, anyways. while I'm down here in a little bit to call Via di San Francisco and There was a little girl, their name looks at nine year, old girl, and doctor, because Brian was sets. Could it be here today? She's one of the girls, you've made glasses for with the glasses and he just brought down. Do you want to give them to her? And I went and here comes little upset, poor poor little girl. And I was literally shaking like this, putting her classes out and I put them on and she could see and she ran out of there and showed all their friends or new glasses and something happened. Now, he's just changed and down, I went home and I open my bible and I went to ask 26 for some reason, the second part of her 17, first part of hers 18 and it says, I am sending you to them to open their eyes and to turn them from Darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, And it might as well had my name written on that purse. Cuz the way I read it was, I am sending you. Brian Kaiser to them. And I knew at that, instant, not only did the Lord want me to supply eyeglasses the missionary doctors, he was sending me to do that. And I would have to learn how to become a Vangelis Tech. Cuz otherwise, how do you turn them from the power of Satan to God? And I think it was, I think Saint Francis of Assisi is credited with saying a line, something like a show, people the love of Christ and use words, if necessary. Well, I would find out later that words are necessary. You can't, you can share the love of Christ in the in the tangible way, and we do that by making eye glasses, for people who can't see. But you also have to use words. How can you tell someone about Jesus? If you don't use words, Anyways, that was February of 2007. Well, since in God's eyes has grown and up until covid hit. We were, we're going out every month to some place in a third world country and holding free eye clinics for the poor. And telling everyone about the incredible gift that God has given us. And that is the Forgiveness of our sins through with son. And I'm one of those trips. I'm mad. Why are they sitting in here? Yeah. And Peggy back there. Now, this is crazy where we're at some little church in the middle of nowhere in Panama. And as frequently happens, our ground teams will get local volunteers up and They volunteered, I think, white two or three days. I got to work with you down there and I don't know, for those of, you know, Richard there's just something charismatic about this guy. He spent all day, I got pictures. He's pointing to eye charts, you know, and we call it, you know, taking visual Acuity. We have to find out what level of each and they have and it helps us determine what prescription we need. And Peggy spent all day putting classes together for us. So we didn't know what we were doing Jen. And I decided that we would start a non-profit, you know, and I didn't know how you run a nonprofit company. I know how you run for profit companies, you know? So I decided what I'll just do what I everyone at my church does when they go on mission trip. Take write letters and asked every For money. You know, and what the Lord did, two things to me during that time, but somehow he got a book in my hand called a biography of George Muller. And George Miller was a pastor in the 18, hundreds in England and he ran his ministries only asking God for money. Never asked, man. And he built orphanage. It's all over England, and it was amazing to work she accomplished. And I thought, how did we go from that model of depending on the Lord asking men? That's Supply. Everything. So, and then another thing, the Lord, as I was reading, John chapter 6, The Feeding of the 5000 and your, you guys are probably well familiar with that. So it says Jesus wanted to test disciple. So he said, how can we feed these people? And there's a disciple named Philip who I can relate to, cuz he's, he's the math guy, he's the Practical guy, and he gets out of his Advocates, I guess. Can you search that you're in and out? And he goes, Lord, 200 days wages when they even begin to feed these people. And I think what he was really saying was it really doesn't matter how we're going to feed these people cuz we can't we don't have the resources and even if we did there's no McDonald's nearby. That can make meals for 5,000 people right away. So but Jesus replied. He said for what do you have? What do you have that can help solve this problem in the disciples go why we have Five Loaves and two fish? So the Lord comes won't give them to me. And in my world, he goes Brian. What resources do you have to make eyeglasses for all the poor people and I do, I have a savings account and retirement money, but that's my money Lord. You know, and he goes, well, give it to me. Well, in John 6, they gave him what they had. And in my world, I started negotiations instead. So I went well or I'll do. I'll give you 20% instead of 10%. In a large cats, just give me what you have, remember those sleepless nights while they're back again cuz you know, he's just going to keep 30% guy. And I guess just give me what you have, right, 40%. Okay. 40%, just give me what you had and, you know, weeks go by and I can't sleep. When I got 50% Lord, I'll give you half of everything I have and he goes, just give me what you have. And I got

Why are you picking on me? My you know, I'm not like I'm not a perfect guy. Why? Why you having me do this? And anyways, one diet I finally got keloid, this is my final offer. Take it, or leave it. Okay, I'll give you a 50% now and when I die, I will, will you the other fifty percent 50 + 50, that's 100% And I was just hoping you'd say yes. But here's what he does. He has Brian, you know, what would have happened? If the disciples gave me that the same offer. If they only gave me two and a half, loads of bread and one fish, and I went know, what would have happened and he said five thousand. Men would not have been fed that day. And he goes and the other two and 1/2 loads and the other fish when they died, the bread would have been moldy in the b**** would be rotten. Because he bring your resources have value today. Not thirty years from now, when you die.

So something broke inside of me that day and I go. Okay, Lord, I'll go all, then you can have everything. And since then I've learned, you know, we just want Jesus to fix everything for us. You know, we don't want to get involved. We're willing to say a prayer, you know how it when somebody needs help or, you know, I hear a statistic like a person dies of starvation, every 15 seconds and Somalia. It moves me the prayer and I go Lord help those people in Somali. I get more food in the Lord codes. Why don't you helpful? See you at three sources? Why are you asking me? And I think what we really do sometimes when we pray and swego, I don't want to get involved, I just want you to fix it large. So the Lord taught me, we have to get involved with what we have. We have to offer up what we have before. We will see any miracles happen. And that's exactly what did.

The Lord also tell me. Brian. How many people do you think the Five Loaves and two fish fed? And I never pondered that question before. And then I went well I don't know, Lord 10 people, 20, I I don't know how big are the fish, you know, and that the point was

The Five Loaves and two fishes for a now but it didn't write. We know the rest of the story, all the men were fed and there were probably that many women and maybe that many more kids there as well. And there were twelve baskets left over. So, I learn that. We're not going to see miracles happen until we go in all the way. And that's exactly what happened. Our money ran out at some point.

And we had, we had made a commitment to the Lord that we're not going to ask people for money, but when their money ran out, check started appearing in our mailbox. Sometimes some people, we never heard of sometimes from Little churches in the middle of nowhere in Oregon who send money. So the poor get that Steve and learn about Jesus. and, That was way back in 2007. And those checks have never stopped coming in and I have literally hundreds and hundreds of stories. Like this one, where groups, or people donate to God's eyes. Even though if they don't hear from us, they don't get that newsletter from us a report, you know, and the Lord told me one time when I wanted to boast about how much we have done back in 2010. He said why are you doing that? I know what I've done this or Brian. I know how many classes I've handed out. I know how many people

Found a shaving lifestyle through my son. See, those are my numbers. Brian. You can't use them. And I realize, a lot of times we use numbers just to boast about our own Ministry. And we robbed God's glory and we shouldn't be doing that. All that, all those numbers belong to the Lord. And we shouldn't be stealing them. So people don't hear from us very much. In fact I've been I've never heard from you guys, so I got a letter once a couple months ago and due to covid, we've had to shut down their Panama base at least temporarily and the letter from your church side, do guys want continue to support, please call us and so I called the number and Donnie answered the phone. And he told me he was the pastor and I'm gone a pastor answers. The telephone

Not not where I'm from, you know, it's like they have people who do that enough but down and I talked for a long time, you know, and I could tell this guy's got an incredible heart for the Lord. And then he told me, he was a missionary for 10 years of his life and he gets it, it gets that, you know, missionary Steve good things, you know. And I'm so I'm so grateful to your church for all you've done to help God's eyes and I'll just tell you to quit stories cuz time's almost up of God's provision. We rely fully on God. We are one time. I got a letter from a man in it. Said hello, Brian? My name is Frank. I met you at Vision Expo, West. Seven months ago will Vision Expo. West is a big Ike invention. I attend every year. 15000, I doctors are in all the medical supply. In optical supply companies are there in this guy, and it turns out he was the president of a frame company. Anyways, you sent me this letter. Hello Brian. My name is Frank and I met you at the eye convention, seven months ago. And I've decided I'm going to send you one hundred thousand new frames. 100000. New frames is worth millions of dollars at retail. That was early on right after I did the Haiti and I needed 500 frames to fill up. Little medical Outpost and I asked the Lord to send me 500 frames. And I actually said and send me more than that cuz we're going to handle 500 out right away. And he sent me a hundred thousand. And it was at that point, I went Lord, I will never ever ask man for money. I will only ask you And I will ask women so women if you would get out your checkbook.

This is been a faith process for us. The Lord took, you know, I was a comfortable North American Suburban Christian just Content doing what I was doing, but the Lord is bigger plans for our lives. And I know he's helped Jen. And I grow so much. Jen has to work full time. We, we had to leave our house cuz we could no longer afford that and we move to the next town over and bought a smaller house. So we can live off, Jen's and come alone, and I can do God's eyes full time and it's what we've done. And now we go all over the world. We try to establish bases so that even when I'm not in the country, people can come and get free glasses in the name of Jesus. And you know, there's there's been years, we've handed out a new pair of glasses, every 30 minutes to somewhere in the world because our God is that big. And anyways are so many more stories about work. I just want to thank you guys. It's churches like this that make the difference. It's you guys, it's it's at what's God's plan? He is going to use normal everyday people, to accomplish things. That's why you called fisherman. The follow him and tent makers and he takes normal people and he has big plans for their lives and so That's part of my story. At least, you know, one time I asked the Lord, I spoke at a large, a breakfast meeting for hundreds of people in this town and they said, Lord, why do you give me so many stories to share? And so few venues to share them with, and he said, that's what the book is for Brian. So, I wrote a book because covid, shut us down last year. So I wrote a book and I, it'll be published soon and I'll give you a the last story from that book. The name of the book is, well, let me tell you the story. I was in a little town in Nicaragua. I think it was a garbage dump, and it's frequently happens more people show up, and we can wait on in one day when they know, they're getting free eye care in the country, that offers no free medical services. They just come from miles around some of them walk for days to get to us. anyways, it was a typical day too many of them and not enough of us, and sometimes when you have thousands of people standing around and they know they're not going to get help, it can get pretty iffy and and sometimes they get Pretty aggressive. I am concerned at Sprint that. See, and so, what we said was, we'll hand out numbers as many as we can see in one day, and everyone else, please come back another day. So, that's what we did in late in the afternoon, a lady came into my little

Corner. Faria by Chiefs and she brought in her nine-year-old son. And she said, I only have one ticket, but we both need eye glasses. Can you help us both? And I looked outside in the lines were still on if people who had numbers and she was about the 20th person that day, you asked me the same question. Can you help more than me? and I finally had to say I'm so sorry, I can only help one of you and was breaking my heart but we wanted to get through everyone who had numbers And she goes, well, then. See my son cuz he can't see. And I examined dumb and she was right. He had to worst eyes of anyone. I saw saw that day. His focal length is 4in. Anything beyond for, in Blurred, for him. And dumb. I examined them, he had his classes made and they left and the very next day, she came back and as luck would have it, even though we had five people examining eyes. She got my line somehow and I got to see her about the same time late in the afternoon and I was so happy when I'm so glad you were able to come back. I felt so bad. I had to send you away yesterday and I got how's your little boy doing with his glasses? And she said he loves them. and last night he asked me who hung lights in the sky, You never seen a star in his life and it didn't even know what they were called. He just thought that night, somebody hung lights up in the sky and that's what we do at God's eyes. You know, we we help 9 year old boys. See stars in the skies, we help 83 year-old men read their Bibles. Again, we help middle-aged women see for the first time in your life and they run around the church screaming, what they can all see? And I had a lady do that for 45 minutes and we do that And we tell everyone to know why your glasses are free, because they're a gift from Jesus, and he loves you so much. He loves you so much. He's concerned about you seen. Well, and he sent us here to help you. And he sent us here to tell you how much he loves you. And then, we share the gospel with every person not uncommon for God to Increase Heaven by hundreds of people during our eye clinics. And again, that's all possible because of people like you. So my final thing would be to encourage all of you if you don't know,

What God wants you to be doing with your life? Just please please please. Take the time to find out. He promises us that he will tell us. And I'm so you know, there's so many verses seek first his kingdom and everything else will be added. So that's why I want to thank you so much for letting us be here. Thank you, Don, you're incredible. I love I love all of you. Thank you Vicki and Richard for working at a guy's eyes Clinic. I mean Peggy taking rest. I'm so sorry. I'm horrible with names, and thank you all. God bless

Thank you by the way. Let me introduce without this lady here, none of it would have been possible because I wouldn't have done it since my wife Jennifer and she's the greatest fights in the world. You know, when I was about to make the leaf, you know? And and I said You know, I'm really thinking of doing this John. And what do you think? And she goes for what will happen? If we can't pay our mortgage and I go, well, well, I have to move to a small house somewhere else and she goes, well, if that's all that will happen. Why aren't you doing it? What kind of woman loves so much that she doesn't care about materialism. She just cares about bringing honor and Glory. That's the kind of special woman. I married to say, I love you. Babe and Men. You know, God does touch people in incredible ways when we are willing to listen to that little call in, on each of you has responded in some way that that call because you're here today willing to listen to what he has for you. Because Brian goes out and he's able to do the things. He is able to do because God has encouraged other people to step up and truly give to support that effort. You know, we are all part of the family of God, and each of us has that gift. He is giving us to do. So thank you for being willing to be a part of what Brian and Jennifer are doing in this world. And we will continue to hear those good reports. I know, but thank you for your efforts. Let me pray and will close his father in Heaven. We thank you that you call and people, listen, sometimes it's amazing that people who are willing to give up so much to honor you, but in reality they're only giving up what you've already given them. So father help us to remember that that time we served because you have blessed and we pray that you would continue to bless the ministry as it goes forth. That lives would be changed for a part from the change of limes. Anything we do is really nothing so father may you bless you richly and all Brian and Jennifer do and death. In what we do, get an encouraging along the way. And father if you're touching somebody here for something special, the father may they listen to that voice. Thank you Lord. Thank you for all you do to praise your holy name for you are worthy in Jesus name. Amen.
