F. It falsely portrayed black men as lustful for white woman

G. The movie showed a white man in black face chasing a white woman

H. It sparked great interest in the KKK

I. The movie was even shown in the white house by President Woodrow Wilson

J. This tactics of spreading lies to rouse of whites is quintessential American

K. White mobs have lynched and murdered many black men using this tactic

2. So once again what is critical race theory

A. CRT began in the 70s and 80s when African American legal scholars began to grow dissatisfied with how the law failed to address systemic racism. So, it is a legal scholarship.

B. I believe the best definition of is found in Black’s Law Dictionary

C. It defines CRT as:

1. A reform movement within the legal profession, particularly within academia, whose adherents believe that the legal system has disempowered racial minorities.

2. Critical race theorists observe that even if the law is couched in neutral language, it cannot be neutral because those who fashioned it had their own subjective perspectives that, once enshrined in law, have disadvantaged minorities and even perpetuated racism.

3. The goals of CRT

A. Deconstruct especially civil rights law.

B. Reconstruct civil rights laws to fully address white supremacy

C. Instruct America on concrete ways to finally dismantle white supremacy

4. Let’s address whether CRT is anti-Biblical?

A. Introduction.

1. To address this we’ll look at each of the core beliefs of CRT and simply ask two questions:

a. What does it mean

b. ask are they true?

c. Are there Scriptural support for the tenets

2. I got these core tenets from the book Critical Race Theory, An Introduction by Richard Delgado a pioneer of the CRT.

3. Also, I read other books and articles including a book written by many critical race theorists that was edited by Kimberlie Crenshaw, herself a pioneer of CRT.

Racism is normal

1. What this tenet means

a. Racism is not aberrational, but is cooked deep into the DNA of America

b. America suffers from systemic racism

2. Is it true

a. This is very controversial to white Americans and some black conservatives.

b. Even Tim Scott, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris claimed America isn’t a racist nation

c. However, 99% of African Americans know they’re lying.

d. And I say 99% because there’s 1% of black conservatives who have drunk the white conservative kool aid

C. Race is a social construct

1. What it means

a. CRT posits that humans created the concept of race and races.

b. CRT therefore posits that it’s false to claim one race is superior to another

D. Interest convergence

1. What is it

a. This tenet asserts that whites aren’t motivated to completely eradicating systemic racism unless they believe the eradication benefits them.

b. This is simply saying that people are selfish and self-centered.

2. Is it true

3. Are there any Scriptures that support the tenet. Yes, the Bible certainly tells and shows us that humans are selfishness and self-centered.

a. The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? Jeremiah 17:9

b. Do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. Phil 2:4 (AMP)

c. And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. Luke 9:23

E. Differential racialization

1. What it means

a. This tenet asserts that White America sees the benefit of different minority groups at different times.

2. Is it true

a. Of course it’s true. Whites saw the value of African Americans at its highest during slavery. But after the abolishment of slavery; the value of African Americans sharply decreased in their eyes and other minority groups, e.g., Mexicans became a better source of cheap labor.
