the message today will lay the groundwork for the series that were going to be teaching on “The armor of God”.
Today I will be concentrating on weapons of spiritual warfare. We will see how the word of God lines up with our struggle against flesh and blood.
The title of our teaching this morning is

12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

People are not your problem. Even though we think they are because we can see, feel, touch, taste and hear them.
But according to verse 12 whatever is going wrong in your world, people are merely the conduit for the root: they're not the fruit.
What ever we are going through in life, in most cases, they are physical in nature (flesh and blood)
Gods says our battle is against principalities, and powers located in heavenly places.
The word heavenly places means “The Spiritual Realm”
Whatever is going on in your world, your life, is rooted in the spiritual realm "heavenly places"
If you are unfamiliar with the spiritual realm, You will be unable to navigate this realm
The conflicts in the invisible realm, are unseen, and responsible for the battles in the scene realm
Flesh and blood s not where the battle emanates from
Our battle is in an unseen realm called “Heavenly Places”

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,
Our Blessings are located in heavenly places
Everything you will ever need, has been deposited
in your account in the unseen realm ( The Heavenly Places)
In Chapter 1:20 He says your blessings are in heavenly places, and the one that’s in charge is Jesus!
20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,
If you wanna get to Jesus, He is in the spiritual realm (Heavenly Places) In Eph 2:6 ....

2:6 raised us together Because believers are identified with Christ’s resurrection, they also share in life that is no longer subject to death.seated us together Believers share Christ’s position of authority at the right hand of God by virtue of their union with Christ.
In other words, your blessings are in heavenly places. Jesus is seated in heavenly places. We are seated with him in heavenly places.
So where you are physically seated now, is not the only place you're located
You are equally located in another realm, and that realm is heavenly places or the spiritual realm

10 to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places,
Faithlife 3:10 many-sided wisdom Refers to God’s plan of salvation through the death and resurrection of Jesus
In the heavenly places there are angels
Every believer has at least one angel
They are ministering spirits
The Bible says in Hebrews 114
14 Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?
According to the word of God, we have somebody who knows that realm better then you, whose job it is to operate in that realm on your behalf.
So let's recap, your blessings are in heavenly places
Jesus is seated in heavenly places
you are seated with him in heavenly places
your angelic assistance is located in heavenly places

1. Lord I believe that Jesus is the son of God, and that He died On the cross for my sins and His resurrection from the dead gives me eternal life. I asked forgiveness of my sins, and I Except Jesus as my Lord and Savior. In his name I Pray, amen.
