If you want to know if there is work to be done in Lynden and within the Whatcom county…i want you to think back to the people you saw walking around the fair.
(Explain who was there)
11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
If you are hearing this and you have been saved by grace through faith…because of the finished work of Christ crucified for you…know this…you were washed, you were justified, you were sanctified so that you might walk in the good works that you were prepared to walk in, that you might be zealous to do good works, that you might proclaim the excellencies of the one who called you out of darkness and into his marvelous light. That you may live in such a way that people are drawn to your Christlike love and character.

17 But you must remember, beloved, the predictions of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. 18 They said to you, “In the last time there will be scoffers, following their own ungodly passions.” 19 It is these who cause divisions, worldly people, devoid of the Spirit. 20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life. 22 And have mercy on those who doubt; 23 save others by snatching them out of the fire; to others show mercy with fear, hating even the garment stained by the flesh. 24 Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy,
