WE EXIST TO HELP PEOPLE KNOW JESUS AND FIND PURPOSE
THE TRUTH ABOUT YOUR TRUTH
14 Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth. 15 Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church.
At the time this was written Ephesus was VERY modern. More than you might think.
SPEAK THE TRUTH IN LOVE. Not your truth… but THE Truth.

TRUTH IS NOT SOMETHING WE DECIDE, IT’S SOMETHING WE DISCOVER
Some people are calling their experience, feelings, or opinion their truth. You’re TRUTH comes with a level of subjectivity of Bias

Your feelings, experiences, past have shaped what you see. Your brain is taking context and making the best effort to tell you what you are seeing.
Mask vs no mask, Vaccine vs. no vaccine. People are elevating their opinion to a combative space. Society is censoring… people who are against the narrative of the day. and you get shamed or bullied just for seeing what you see.
The reason people say my truth… they want to elevate their perspective to be indisputable.
URBAN DICTIONARY “MY TRUTH”
Often used by academics, this is a convenient phrase for avoiding arguments because people can contradict your opinion but not your "truth."
The phrase is often used when seeking to justify a controversial personal stance or action because people are not allowed to argue with "your truth."
WHAT WE BELIEVE TO BE THE TRUTH IS NOT ALWAYS THE TRUTH
Just because you believe something to be true… doesn’t make it true (OLIVE GARDEN, WAFFLE HOUSE)

GOD IS THE CREATOR OF ALL TRUTH. HE CREATED THE UNIVERSE TO EXIST AND FUNCTION ON TRUTH. OUR LIVES ARE MEANT TO BE LIVED IN SYNC WITH HIS TRUTHS, NOT OUT OWN TRUTH.
TRUTH IS NOT TRUE FOR ONE AND NOT FOR ANOTHER. IT’S FIXED.
Sharks in ocean — truth is an absolute — laws of nature —
Knowing the truth you may still have a hard time doing it. That means your human.
TRUE NORTH
Jesus championed truth. And that everyone who listens to the truth hears his voice. Knowing the truth will set you free.
2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
WHEN YOU CALL SOMETHING “YOUR TRUTH” YOU SABOTAGE YOUR ABILITY TO GROW IN GOD’S TRUTH ABOUT YOU
This isn’t just in culture though… it’s in Christianity.
SKIPPING MY QUIET TIME TODAY IS FINE. I’M BUSY.
PRAYER ISN’T THAT BIG OF A DEAL. IT’S AWKWARD ANYWAY.
MY CHURCH ATTENDANCE HAS NO IMPACT ON MY FAITH.
SERVING IS FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO.
EVANGELISM DOESN’T MESH WITH MY PERSONALITY TYPE.
MY ACTIONS DON’T IMPACT MY CHILDREN’S VIEW OF GOD, CHURCH, AND FAITH. THEY KNOW MY HEART.
WHEN YOU OPEN YOURSELF UP TO THE TRUTH, GOD STARTS TO SPEAK INTO YOUR LIFE.
THE ENEMY WANT’S TO UNDERMINE EVERYTHING GOD SAYS ABOUT YOU. AND IF YOU ARE NOT CONCERNED WITH THE TRUTH… YOU’LL FALL FOR IT EVERY TIME.
You don’t want your mind fixed on your truth, or your children set on their truth, but rather you want your life centered on God’s truth.
SPEAKING THE TRUTH IS THE MOST POWERFUL TOOL WE HAVE
