IN THE NATURAL WE UNDERSTAND THAT, HOWEVER, IN THE SPIRITUAL?:
WE MUST GET ENLISTED!
WE MUST GET TRAINED!
WE MUST LEARN WHAT OUR WEAPONS ARE!
WE MUST BE SUBMITTED TO AUTHORITY AND RECEIVING DIRECTION, SUPPORT, AND INSTRUCTION FROM LEADERS!

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
ABOVE ALL, TAKE THE SHIELD OF FAITH!
***We have everything that we need to be victorious in Christ!
In vs. 12, it tells us 4 important things about our enemy!
It tells us we are fighting against principalities. Greek word is: archas - describes things in a series, such as leaders, rulers, and magistrates. They have rank and organization! Websters def. - English word “principality” is defined as “the territory or jurisdiction of a prince or the country that gives title to a prince”. THEY ARE ASSIGNED OVER AREAS SUCH AS NATIONS AND CITIES! EXAMPLE IN DANIEL.....”PRINCE OF PERSIA”.
I BELIEVE SOME HAVE ASSIGNMENT OVER CHURCHES AND HOMES! Are we doing all that we should???
2. We are told our warfare is against POWERS. Greek word is exousias - authorities. NOT TO WORRY THOUGH!
1 Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.
3. We wrestle against THE RULERS OF THE DARKNESS OF THIS WORLD. Greek word for “world rulers” is kosmokratoras. - “lords of the world” or “prince of this age”. THIS EMPHASIZES HIS INTENTION TO CONTROL. SATAN IS REFERRED TO IN SCRIPTURE AS “THE GOD OF THIS WORLD” (2 COR. 4:4)
When Adam sinned, satan gained dominion over the world.
8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; 9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
NOW, AFTER THE CROSS, WE MUST SEE HIM AS HE IS........ A DEFEATED FOE........A TRESPASSER!
JESUS EXPLAINED HIS ABILITY TO CAST OUT DEMONS IN THESE WORDS:
20 But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you. 21 When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace: 22 But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils.
Jesus declared that the strong man’s armour was taken away from him. This means that satan is completely defenseless! The expression “all of his armour” is the Greek word panoplia - only used one other time in the new testament in eph 6:11. The christian is not vulnerable at any point while the devil is vulnerable at every point. HE HAS NO ARMOR ANYMORE!
4. We wrestle against SPIRITUAL WICKEDNESS IN HIGH PLACES. They have one objective, WICKEDNESS!
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
LET DIVE INTO SOME TRUTHS!
25 times in the new testament demons are referred to “unclean Spirits”
the word unclean is translated the same as the word used to describe creatures that Gods people were to stay away from. “like pigs” not to be eaten or touched.
15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: 17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
As a pig is to the natural realm, so should a demon be to the spiritual realm.
you made plans to avoid certain places and things not to come into contact.
It is a deliberate choice and calculated decision.
However, you have to learn where you may come into contact with a pig, right?
AT YOUR HOUSE, YOU WOULD NEVER OPEN UP YOUR DOOR AND ALLOW A GROUP OF PIG TO COME IN AND RUN AROUND YOUR HOUSE WOULD YOU?
If you open up the door, they have a right to be there.
Are you going to go around and clean up the mess that they make? Following them around.
Are you just going to set and hope that they don’t cause too much damage?
Maybe you will just medicate yourself, and desensitize yourself to what is really going on?
NO, YOU CLEAN YOUR HOUSE, THROW THE PIG OUT, AND GET SOMEONE TO HELP YOU IF YOU ARE IN NEED OF HELP!
We do the same thing spiritually!
HOW TO WE OPEN THE DOOR TO THE ENEMY?
What you watch. example:(Men - porn) Spirits come and attach to you! Constantly walking around with them! Women can attest to this, they sense that spirit and it makes a sensitive woman of God uncomfortable!
What you listen to. example:(Women - social media) Envy, jealousy, lust......critical spirit, judge mental!
BUT I HAVE GOOD NEWS TODAY!
7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
YOU KNOW THIS VS. WORKS FOR THE ENEMY ALSO?
If you abide in this world, listen to the enemy and get into agreement with his lies, it shall be done unto you!
Could it be that answers to our prayers depend more on you than on God?

Another example of our job/responsibility in Gods army:
37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; 38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
HOW MANY OF YOU HAVE ACTUALLY PRAYED FOR LABOURERS?
Why does he tell us to pray for labourers?
Can’t He do that himself?
Why does he want us to pray for that?
He is God, He can do anything He wants, right?
Anything but go against His Word!

the enemy is using people to gain power and authority in the earth. WHY?
Its a spiritual law that God set up from the beginning! Man will have dominion!
gen 1:26-28
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
