1 Acab dio a Jezabel la nueva de todo lo que Elías había hecho, y de cómo había matado a espada a todos los profetas.
2 Entonces envió Jezabel a Elías un mensajero, diciendo: Así me hagan los dioses, y aun me añadan, si mañana a estas horas yo no he puesto tu persona como la de uno de ellos.
3 Viendo, pues, el peligro, se levantó y se fue para salvar su vida, y vino a Beerseba, que está en Judá, y dejó allí a su criado.
4 Y él se fue por el desierto un día de camino, y vino y se sentó debajo de un enebro; y deseando morirse, dijo: Basta ya, oh Jehová, quítame la vida, pues no soy yo mejor que mis padres.
5 Y echándose debajo del enebro, se quedó dormido; y he aquí luego un ángel le tocó, y le dijo: Levántate, come.
6 Entonces él miró, y he aquí a su cabecera una torta cocida sobre las ascuas, y una vasija de agua; y comió y bebió, y volvió a dormirse.
7 Y volviendo el ángel de Jehová la segunda vez, lo tocó, diciendo: Levántate y come, porque largo camino te resta.
8 Se levantó, pues, y comió y bebió; y fortalecido con aquella comida caminó cuarenta días y cuarenta noches hasta Horeb, el monte de Dios.
9 Y allí se metió en una cueva, donde pasó la noche. Y vino a él palabra de Jehová, el cual le dijo: ¿Qué haces aquí, Elías?
God has given us his word. His word is powerful and mighty. Sharper than any two edged sword
2. Do you believe in his word?
3. Fully and completely?
4. Do you believe in everything he has said about you?
5. Do you see your situation how God Sees it?

What had Elijah just done? What was the news? He Had obeyed GOD!
That should be reason for rejoicing! God has just used you....
But there is something the Christian has to understand:
Obeying God doesn’t guarantee security~!
When you Obey God and you are blessed; this is a threat to others!
Your Obedience to God will make others very uncomfortable!
In fact throughout the bible we see examples of this.
Do you know how Jesus’ disciples died?
Crucified, hanged, beheaded, spear, sword, boiled, stoned.
The reason why so many Christians struggle in their walk with GOD is because while you are seeking comfort and security, God is seeking
Obedience
commitment
total surrender
until death
Some of us ask GOD to use us more!
But we haven’t even learned to trust in God in the small troubles we face today!
“BE Faithful in the little”
So here Elijah had just done GOD’s will! But now the news arrives to Jezebel.
And look at the response from her:
1 Reyes 19:2 “2 Entonces envió Jezabel a Elías un mensajero, diciendo: Así me hagan los dioses, y aun me añadan, si mañana a estas horas yo no he puesto tu persona como la de uno de ellos.”
a message arrives to Elijah’s ear....
the enemy always sends a “message” to your ear. . . .
(you won’t make it, your will fail, your marriage is lost, God can’t use you)
But notice how this message is only threats!
Threat for tomorrow???
He should of responded: “Oh si, pues aqui te espero!”
But instead it says “He saw the danger”?
How did he see it if it was a verbal message?
Because when you are idle, You listen to the enemy’s message/threats and you don’t RESPOND, the eye of fear is activated
you see things that are not there! You hear things that aren’t there!
Instead You need to RESPOND to the enemy and say another message arrived before yours!
NEVER stay quiet when the enemy sends you a message
Always respond with God’s message!
That’s why you have to be filled with the word!
1 Ahora, así dice Jehová, Creador tuyo, oh Jacob, y Formador tuyo, oh Israel: No temas, porque yo te redimí; te puse nombre, mío eres tú.

you have to ask GOD For discernment and discern the messages
Is it coming from GOD or from the enemy
A message from GOD is never meant for your destruction! It is meant to fulfill HIS purpose!
GOD’s Message had been given to Elijah First!
GODS Word had been spoke to and over Elijah already!

2 Y vino a él palabra de Jehová, diciendo:
3 Apártate de aquí, y vuélvete al oriente, y escóndete en el arroyo de Querit, que está frente al Jordán.
4 Beberás del arroyo; y yo he mandado a los cuervos que te den allí de comer.
God’s word had already been spoke
God’s word has already been spoken and established over your life
But I haven’t received another word from the Lord! I have to go out and seek someone to give me a word!
NO! God’s word has already been spoken
Its the same word! READ IT! Believe it! Apply it! Live it!

The Angel of the Lord had brought him drink and food twice!
The Angel of the Lord had already told him GET UP!
You have more work ahead of you!
15 Y le dijo Jehová: Ve, vuélvete por tu camino, por el desierto de Damasco; y llegarás, y ungirás a Hazael por rey de Siria.
Church GET UP! Get back on your way!
The Message of the Lord has not changed over your life!
Quit listening to LIES
Quit seeking anywhere else
God is the same yesterday today and forever more!

He is the WAY, The TRUTH, and the LIFE!
