Exodus 36-40
Chapter 36
· The LORD gives wisdom by which they performed His work – it was from GOD
o All talents are from God and meant to be used for HIS glory.
· The people give abundantly to the point of having to be restrained!
Chapters 36-38
· Everything was done as the LORD commanded Moses
Chapter 39
· V.32 Thus was all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation finished: and the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.
· V.33 And they brought the tabernacle unto Moses…
· V.42 According to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.
· V.43 And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they have done it as the LORD had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them. Much is the same manner as GOD did when HE had finished each day of creation – “It is good”
Chapter 40 READ this chapter.
May we live As the Lord Commanded:
· And Jesus answered him, “The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: 30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:29-30.
o Love God
o Love your neighbor
· And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.” Amen. Matthew 28:18.
