Wife could not make the trip with him. Has had two open heart surgeries and some associated brain issues. HPC helped with medical costs.
A heart like Jesus- for those who are lost
What breaks the heart of God? Matt 9:35-38 Jesus had compassion on the crowds because they were helpless and needed care and guidance. Jesus also noted to His disciples that there was a "huge harvest" waiting. God wants us to share the empathy Jesus had for people.
What is my responsibility? Care about these people and try to address their need with what I have, good news, love, acceptance. Rom 1:16 boldly and without shame. This message carries the "power of God." His Spirit works in hearts to prepare them to receive the truth about getting right with God.
Notice that they are all around me in my day's activities
Think about them
Pray for them
Relate with them
If I cannot go into all the world, at least I can go into my world
