Matthew 28:18–20 (NKJV) The Great Commission

18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Apostolic Church- a community of sent people into the world to represent God with the mandate to make disciples

Challenging Times- Our commision doesnt change because of dificult times.

Sent With Love- we are sent into the world representing and demonstrating Gods Love. Love is the culture of the kingdom of God

Everyone Will Know We Are His Real Disciple- Follow the Teachers example and teaching

God Gives Us A Spirit of Love

Paul was in a roman prison for the 2nd time. Nero had been persecuting the church and using it as a scapegoat to differ critisms of his failures as Caesar. It was a dangerous time to be a christian.

2 Timothy 1:6–8 (NKJV) 6 Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.

7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

8 Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God,

I Remind You-Dont forget what your calling and mission is.
