Psalm 23:5 “You anoint my head with oil”

You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil;
my scup overflows.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE ANOINTED?

ANOINTED BY GOD: (Internal)When God’s Holy Spirit gives you insight (Conocimiento), ability, stamina (Aguante), authority or protection that you don’t normally have in order to do a job that He has chosen you to do!

Isn’t this what we want? We all look for these things in our lives and we get tired trying to pursued them on our own strength.

ANOINTED BY PEOPLE: (External) When someone prayerfully applies some oil to your skin as an outward sign of what God is doing inside you.

(In the Bible, oil is often used as a symbol of God’s approval, presence, blessing, power, comfort, healing, joy, favor, prosperity, and authority.)
God never asks you to do something without providing what you need to do it. Anointing is a sign of God’s equipping you to fulfill an assignment he’s given you. When he gives you an assignment, a plan, or a strategy, he is going to empower you.
Just as a lamp won’t shine unless it’s plugged in, your light won’t shine unless you’re plugged into your power source. You cannot fulfill the purpose you were created for apart from the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus said, “Apart from me you can do nothing” (John 15:5 NIV).
If you want God’s power to work through your life, you need to understand what it means to have his anointing and keep a few things in mind.
FACTS ABOUT GOD’S ANOINTING | El hecho de la Uncion de Dios

WHEN GOD APPOINTS ME, HE ANOINTS ME | Cuando Dios me Nombra, el me Unge

“The One who calls you is faithful, and HE will do it!”
How do I know is God. ( He will use a person That person will see something in you that you have not seen yourself.
When God says to do it, you can count on his anointing. Jesus’ last assignment to his disciples was impossible. There was no way they could possibly take the Gospel to the ends of the earth. It could only happen through his power. God will often give you an assignment that looks physically impossible, but he will make it possible.
“The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it”
1 Thessalonians 5:24 ESV
24 He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it.
1 Thessalonians 5:24 NVI
24 El que los llama es fiel, y así lo hará.
God will call us, our families to bigger things. Things that we will never imagine we can do.
we have the tendency to look for something we like to do and is easy for us to do it.
This is where we have a problem, because when God Appoints you, many time is a task that seems impossible to carry on

GOD’S ANOINTING MAKES ME A BETTER PERSON / La uncion de Dios me hace una mejor persona

“Then Samuel took oil and poured it on Saul's head and said, "God has anointed you to be the leader of his people... (v6) God’s Spirit will come on you in power, and you’ll speak like a prophet and you’ll be changed into a different person. After this happens, do whatever you think is best, because God will be with you!”                                    1 Sam. 10:1+6-7
It makes you a better person because you learn in the process God puts you through.

GOD’S ANOINTING MAKES DIFFICULT TASKS EASIER / LA Uncion de Dios hace que las Tareas mas dificiles se hagan faciles

“I can do everything with the help of Christ who gives me the strength I need.”                                                                                 Phil. 4:13 (NLT)

I am the type of person that is I see a job hard i wont put my hands on it
someone has to teach me, but the older I get and the more I mature in the Lord, I see that all I have to do is Involve the Lord because He makes things Possible
Your resources are limited. Your energy is limited. Your knowledge is limited. Your wisdom is limited. Your talent is limited. God’s is not. With God’s anointing, you can handle things better, last longer, and go farther.

GOD ANOINTS MY LIFE TO BLESS OTHERS/Dios me unge para bendecir a otros

s. Jesus came to comfort the afflicted, the broken-hearted, those who are enslaved to habits, those who don’t know how to get out of debt, and those who are blind. And he anoints you to comfort others as well.
“The Spirit of the Lord is on me and he’s anointed me to bring good news to the suffering and afflicted.
He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted, to announce freedom to captives, and to open the eyes of the blind.
He has sent me to tell those who mourn that the time of God's favor to them has come ... To tell all who mourn that God will give beauty for ashes, joy instead of mourning, and praise instead of heaviness!”
Isaiah 61:1-3
Isaiah 61:1–3 ESV
1 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; 2 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn; 3 to grant to those who mourn in Zion— to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified.
Isaiah 61:1–3 NVI

FOR EVERY NEW CHALLENGE, I NEED A FRESH ANOINTING/ Para cada nuevo reto necesito una Uncion Fresca

Anointing by the Holy Spirit cannot be stored up. You cannot handle today’s problems with yesterday’s anointing. You certainly can’t handle the problems you’re going to have tomorrow, next week, and next year with yesterday’s anointing. Stay in touch with God so that he can constantly fill you with his grace, love, and power. Ask for God’s anointing again. James 4:2 says, “You do not have, because you do not ask God” (NIV).
“Sow new seeds of righteousness, and you’ll reap the fruit of My love. And break up your old hardened ground.  It’s time to turn to me and seek the Lord! Then I’ll come and shower new blessings on you!”                                                                           Hosea 10:12 (TEV)
“You don’t have it, because you don’t ask God.”           James 4:2 (NIV)
“The Lord generously gives us his favor and honor. NO GOOD THING will he withhold from those who live right.”   Psalm 84:11
