NOTHING can STOP GOD

Dr. Leroy Gainey gave a great story.

I know Im not like him but this really hit home for me.

There was a family, they were known as the Tate Family

The husband’s name was Hezekiah but he went by Hesi, because every time there was a slight bit of change he didnt know how it would go HesiTate

His wife’s name was Emma and she just did whatever her husband did.

They had two daughters Ira, and Agi and they knew how to push the buttons of those Children’s Church leaders

But they had a son to and he enjoyed bossing everyone around.

His name was Richard but they nicknamed Dic

We have this family here today in First Southern Baptist Church.

When we as Leaders, now I’m talking to Council here, and we hesitate in doing something because we think we know what the members of the congregation want without asking we as Council, me as Pastor, is not doing this church a justice.

Because what the congregation does is Imitate exactly what the Leaders do.

We, as the members of one body, need not to Irritate or Agitate God because we are not following his Plan.

There is definitely one thing that is the truth, WE CAN NOT DICTATE WHAT IS GOD’S PLAN.

Only GOD will DICTATE what His Plan is in our lives.

ANYTHING WE DO will NOT STOP God’s plan from happening.

It is not up to us to decide the plans God has for us.

Funny story, I do some work for a couple elderly people here in Pahrump.

Their names is Ron and Shirley.

It is not Ron and Shirley Trummell.

Ron was a co-founder of Apple and he left 12 days after signing the document to start the Apple with Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak.

He always tells me he was in the right place at the right time.

God put him in that place at that time to meet Steve eobs.

Shirley is 90 yrs old and she told me about 3 weeks ago, why am I still on this Earth.

Ive done everything I could do.

How many of us have felt that way?

God is not finished with her yet.

there is something out there that is left to accomplish.

The very beginning of that.

I THE LORD DO NOT CHANGE.

His plans have never changed!

God knew that Adam and Eve were gonna SIN.

God knew his people were gonna be slaved by the Egyptians and Moses was going to free them.

God knew Samson was going to be deceived by a woman and his hair would be cut.

God knew that David would be a king, even when he was just a boy singing and watching over the sheep.

God knew that He would send His son on this earth to die for all our sins.

God knew that in 2020 we would have a pandemic that would shut churches down, GOD knew that when the End Times happens and that final war has begun that WE will stand tall with Him because He has won the victory of SIN and DEATH.

BECAUSE OUR GOD IS AN UNSTOPPABLE GOD!

Nothing will stop His plan from unfolding.

You can not stop HIM, I can not stop HIM, Satan for sure can not stop HIM, but he’s going to try.

We can not do everything on our OWN.

WE NEED HELP!

What do we need to do?

We need to read the Word of God.

But before you read, you need to pray and ask God to show you what we need to do.
