Good morning. I just noticed on the screen. My name is not Tom Gill. Mike Mackin. I was confused for a minute or who I was. today's reading is from, 1st Corinthians chapter 15 verses. 53 55 Well, this is a brother that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does corruption in Herrin corruption. Behold. I tell you a mystery, we shall not all sleep, but we shall be changed in a moment. In a twinkling of an eye. At the last trumpet, for the trumpet will sound and the dead will be raised Incorruptible. And we shall be changed for this. Corruptible. Must be put on incorruption. And this Mortal must put on immortality. So, when does corruptible has been put on incorruption? And this Mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass. The saying that is written. Death is swallowed up in Victory. Oh, death. Where is your sting or Hades? Where is your victory? Word of God, you may be seated. And Pastor Fox will untangle these verses for us. Thank you.

I have here a brown bag. Is pretty special brown bag? When you blow on the back, it makes a noise know. That's not really true. I've got something in the brown bag and it is called in the Scripture, A shofar. It's known as a Ram's Horn and or in English translation a trumpet. And this is one of the trumpets, the god sound at various times. And you were here, make a note of inferences fuel blow. Ye the trumpet, when it's talks about the last day and you can tell it, makes it kind of a loud noise. I didn't blow it as loud as I could a little bit. I've got a trombone mouthpiece in cuz I paid trombone a lot longer than I played trumpet. You can blow on this but it's a little harder. Stoddard's loud for me. So anyway, I just thought I'd show you that. I remind you that that is the trumpet that is talked about generally in scripture. There's some other trumpets that were silver trumpets. That were part of the Tabernacle worship, but then they were probably would be today if they were around would be called bugles cuz they had no Kaze, no change of key or anything like that. But those were used only in Temple worship. The shofar was used in communication. How many of you remember? I don't know. Why, do you remember this song or not? But the song used to be Tie Me Kangaroo Down and remember that old song and and you remember that one of the versus was play me didgeridoo. Well, that was an instrument created about fifteen hundred more years ago by the Aborigines of Australia and it was used for various functions, but it was also used to communicate from place to place at a certain sound. That was communicated to certain sequences found. It was basically a monitor won't answer but but a certain sequences sounds would communicate that the kangaroo were stampeding or a fire was coming. I don't know what they communicated in those days. But anyway, that was happening, Australia, Africa. It was usually a drum that was used to communicate, but in Israel, And perhaps in other nations during that time. It was the Rams or the shofar. So just that background a little bit will help you. Now. I want to change gears a little bit and tell you that when I was about eight years old. I attended Bible Camp. That my dad was managing and the speaker spoke at the junior age camp at the high school camp in the adult camp. And I got to attend all of those because I was the manager's son, and at the adult camp. He challenged people to read through the Bible every year. Well, I looked and saw what kind of plan he had, not thought. I don't remember that at all, lose it, and that won't work for me. But I took the Bible that I had, and it had about 1,200 pages. And I figured out that if I read both sides of 2 Pages by that would be for page numbers and within the year at 300 days for a year. I know there's more dad, but let me finish the story 300 days for year. I would basically have Reds. The Bible and I left the extra amount for days that I would miss and Sundays and so on, and so forth, when I would be busy. So I began to read. I'm sure enough. I finish the first year and I did that for years. What I could see an interesting thing occurred during that time. What I read, 1st Corinthians, chapter 15. I read the verse that might just read for it and it says will be changed in the twinkling of an eye at the last Trump. But I read that verse for years and suddenly one day just a few years back. I thought I don't even know when the first trumpet is. What does it mean? Last trumpet? I began to look at that. I don't want to share that with you this morning out, some of you've heard brief Snippets of this but you've never heard this message before because I've never preached it before. So I just worked on it. This last couple of weeks and I want to show you a little something from scripture. Now. I will try and get this dish remote to work and if it doesn't work while I will let somebody at the back work it but this is what it says.

I'm pushing the down arrow. There we go. Is that it? No.

There we go. Okay.

First of all, it's important to know that there is a first trumpet in Jewish tradition. There is a first trumpet and that first trumpet is found in the book of Exodus and it is given at ever sounded at the giving of the law.

Let me get these two coordinated here to where I can show you what I'm saying. At the same time that you can see what you're saying. You know what, let me walk back and give this to one of the men in the back. Let them work yours and I'll wave my hand when I change line and that way I won't get lost. Thank you Darryl. So, let's go to the second Point here, and that gives us the reference. And the verse that I found with regard to the first trumpet. Exodus chapter 19 verse 16 says this, and it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there was thunder and lightning and a thick Cloud upon the mount. And the voice of the Lord. I'm sorry, the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud. So that all the people that were in the camp, heard it and trembled. The voice of the trumpet, exceeding loud.

Jewish tradition also tells us that that same trumpet sound was heard in 70 languages and just as an aside that reason that the Lord sent out seventy disciples when he was here on Earth, as recorded in Matthew was the fact that that tradition was Jewish tradition. That that was all the languages of the world. Now, I don't know whether it was or not. I don't have confirmation of that, but probably was at that time the known world and could be that There since developed other dialects and so on and so forth, but sufficient to say God's concern was to reach everybody with the Gospel of Jesus Christ to read everybody with the provisions of the law. That's the way it was. Now, let's go to the next side that is known as the great trumpet. The second Trumpet Of God. And so it's important to know that at the great trumpet that was sounded at the crowning or will be shouted at the crowning of the Messiah. That's Jewish tradition that that trumpet will be shouted at the crowning of the Messiah. He is the one who is yet to come to establish his Rule and Reign on this Earth. Will talk about that more in a moment. The Lord Jesus Christ and he will establish a ruler to rain on this Earth for a thousand years and there will be peace on the earth during that time. The scripture says, he will enforce that piece with a rod of iron. All people will be subject to him. And that going in, the millenia mall will be Believers but not necessarily everyone. I was born will be a believer, but peace will be enforced. And his rule will be enforced with a rod of iron and those of us who were Believers in the Lord. Jesus Christ. The scripture says Will Rule and reign with him. I don't know what all be, maybe chief of police in Boise, Idaho. I don't know what to do. It'll be the Lord will judge our stewardship at the judgement seat of Christ and will be given responsibility. I believe in relation to how faithful will serve in this day and age, so it's important to serve the Lord faithfully and recognize that God's priority for your life is to serve him. Not to do what you want to do. That's interesting concept that we have to deal with because of the day today and especially in the last few months. We are more more bombarded. Shall I say where the fact that God is not in control of anything. He's not in control of the climate. So we have to be careful about what I do. I am. I'm a firm believer in the fact that we as Christians are to be good stewards of what God has given us. But we are not going to ruin the climate and we are not going to fix it. God's going to take care of it. The promise of scripture is that God upholds, all things by the word of his mouth. And so it's important to understand that God has a plan and he is fulfilling that plan any of the events of this world today, though. They disregard. God do school teaches Evolution and not the creation. God's plan still the holes and he will fulfill his plan in the world today. So it's important to know that this is a given at the crowning in the sign out only once in scripture and that's an Isaiah 27 verse 12 and 13 and it shall come to pass in that day that the Lord Shell. Beat off. I'm sorry. My glasses are a little blurry from the channel of the Euphrates. River is what it is the river of, to the stream of Egypt. And you shall be gathered one by one O, ye children of Israel and it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shells, be blown and they shall come, which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria and the outcasts in the land of Egypt and shall Worship the Lord in the Holy Mount of Jerusalem. That's the only place that the phrase great trumpet occurs in scripture, but it's important. As you look at that, to realize that many of the prophets of the Old Testament, knew that the day of the Lord was coming. They did not know. All the sequence of They didn't have the inside. Prince's the Daniel did that there would be 70 weeks and the 69 weeks would be first. And then there were to be a period of time and everything. Daniel didn't have that reveal to him. The Apostle Paul told the mystery in Ephesians and other officials of the ministry of the church. What is a mystery of the Old Testament? The prophets, the desired to look into it but never got opportunity to, but In that day, it says that is in the day of the Lord the. Of time, when God will intervene directly in the Affairs of men and that day of the Lord will spend a thousand and seven years and then be followed by eternity, the new Heaven and a new Earth. But it's important to understand that in that day will come the crowning of the Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ. I didn't that day. He will establish his kingdom on this Earth important thing that it said it's imperative to know and I just want to say this, you don't necessarily have this on your screen, but God won't need any help. One of the establish is the kingdom. Did you hear that? God won't need any help when he established the kingdom. And that's why I get concerned. What I hear a pastor or anybody pray that the Lord will help us establish his kingdom. That's not our job. Our job is to be equipped as Saints, to do the work of the ministry to spread the gospel of the Lord. Jesus Christ. What is time for God? To establish his kingdom. The 1000 year, reign of Christ. The lord. Jesus will come in glory mounted on a white Steed, and he will be established as king. What a people wanted, or not course of that time. All believers will want it, but he won't need any help. He'll do it. So when you pray. Recognize that your job is to do the work of ministry. God will establish his own kingdom. Now that's going in for free egg head that for nothing. And let me say one other thing having grown up with the grandparents of the father who will English, I learned a little bit extra about the English language. That is true in many other languages and more apparent. But it angers is not quite so apparent, but my grandmother, when she was not going to do something, used to say, I shan't do it. That's the contraction that the English use for. I shall not do it. That's the assertive. I will not do, it is also more commonly used today, that then there is, I may not do it. Now those of you that grew up with a Mother Like Mine when you come in the house, you say can I go fly my kite or whatever. Yes. You May. You can do it all of you might not be able to but you may do it. That's the permissive form. And then there's the subjunctive form of that same verb. That is Mike. The subjunctive form. I've learned cast doubt on the person ability to perform then. So when I say I might do it, I'm not sure where they are. Well, but if I pray that God might do something. I'm in effect casting doubt on his ability to do it. So it's important for me to pray and Accords with his word that he will do it. And if I don't know whether it's his will or not, but he may do it, but I should never pray that he might do something because I believe God can do anything. He is all-powerful and it's important. Even in our language, even though we don't, know. Those are the things that are all the time. It's important to look at that and study, not only the Bible, but something about our language and know what we're talkin about in prayer. That's a part of prayer to pray. Intelligently. All of that thrown in for nothing. So now we come to the phrase in 1st Corinthians 15 verse, 50, or text. The last trumpet. That's when the trumpet will sound. And we shall be raised Incorruptible. It says, and put on immortality. And it'll all happen in the twinkling of an eye at the last Trump. Don't want to give you a little bit of background about the last trumpet. First of all. In Leviticus chapter 25, verses 8-9, if you'll take your Bible and turn it, there. It will be helpful for you to see. There's not only on the screen but recognize that this is going home with you and your Bible. And so it's not something that I came up with it, something that happened and it was supposed to happen regularly in the nation Israel. It says this

And now, shall number 777 years? That is 70 years. Is that right? 7 x 7 is 49 folks not 70. It's 49 years. I just checking on you. Okay? 7, * 7 and the space of the seven, seven, seven, seven years. She'll be under the 40 +, 9 years 40. Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the Jubilee. The sound on the 10th day of the seventh month in the day of atonement. Shall we? Make the trumpet sound throughout all your land? Every 49 years on the day of atonement, the trumpet was the sound. For the Year of Jubilee. Now, it's important to understand that this is part of the ordinances that Israel did not obey. And the Lord brought punishment upon them for that and when you come to 2nd Chronicles chapter, 36 verses 20 and 21 would have explained to us that the Lord took them into captivity and babbling for the exact. Of time that they hadn't had the the trumpet of Jubilee because the land was to lie, fallow during that period of time, it was to replenish yourself cuz you see that commercial fertilizers in those days and Part of the farming practice was let the land lie, fallow, and rebuild itself. So, it's important to understand that the Lord, when he made the ordinance, believe it should be done. And made that clear to Israel and they didn't do it. And, secondly, as you look at verse 10 of of that same chapter in Leviticus, during that time, each person was to return to their inheritance if they lost their land, if they gotten in debt and division, repossessed, even though they didn't have banks in those days, none, the less it can be repossessed or possessed by someone else, and I'll know every 50th year later returned to their inheritance. And it's important to understand that they didn't do that either. I'm so the Lord put them into captivity and then they return to their inheritance, but the last trumpet When Israel returns their inheritance, they will never lose the land again. The Lord Jesus will be king for a thousand years and then the new Heaven and new earth. And the Lord will give them that land permanently. They will never again lose their possession. God has given them that land and will continue to do that. But notice again, but I have it here on the screen that God will not need any help in establishing that Kingdom. That will take place as Daniel. 2 verse 44 says God will establish a kingdom in the vision of that. Beacon desert. He saw the end times and the fact that God would establish his kingdom. Now. Let me ask you a question.

Where is Arnett Gardens? If you are a believer in the Lord, Jesus Christ, you stop. And think about this for a moment. It is a land. Has God given you a place on this Earth? No. Philippians chapter 3 verse 20 is very important verse in this regard and it says this That our citizenship is in heaven. From whence also, we look for the savior.

Isn't that great? Aren't you glad that you won't have to continue here? Indefinitely. and, you know, I don't understand. All I even read about heaven. But it is going to be wonderful.

Most of, you know, that I lost my daughter, the first of this year. And it was not until after Barry's death, that I realize that I'll get there on exactly the same day as he got there. Anna. Same day that her mother got there and it's aimed at my folks got there. Incredible, they are not passing time cuz there is no time there.

when they see if it'll be like, Were there the same time? They are in effect. I don't know. I don't know what all of that cuz I don't understand it, but it gives me Comfort to know that God has it planned. I need to set aside a place for me. And for those of you that are believers, every one of us has a place prepared for us. Our citizenship is in heaven from whence also, we look for the savior. So, at the same time that Israel is regathered to receive their inheritance at that last Trump. We shall be gathered to our inheritance. Now that's important understand. I don't know when it'll happen. But am I look at the world today? I've told some of you already when I look at the world today and see the Del Rio. I love God, his sovereignty and his purpose in the world and the continuing. Outflow Jose of evil in this world. I'm convinced that were closer now than we were six months ago to the Lord coming. I'm convinced that the Lord is putting in place, those things that will happen in the end times as he talked about and we will go, we will hear the sound of the trumpet. And we will be in heaven momentarily with him at the twinkling of an eye. It says, in this verse the twinkling of an eye. That's pretty fast. There are other translations, say in a Flash. Whatever you want. However, you want to describe but it's pretty fast. The Lord won't say one out. Wait a second. I want to change your nose a little bit. Now. It's all going to be done at once. He's got it all thought out and it will happen. Immediately will be here. For a moment and we'll be there. On that be great. And all of those who have gone before or in heaven, now at Souls awaiting, but God will raise their bodies and they'll be reunited with us. And the scripture says we shall know even as we are. And on, I'm looking forward to meeting a number of people that I need to ask questions about parts of the Bible that I don't stand still. David, I, I can remember in my ordination examination. My brother was conducting the examination on an English Bible and he wanted to be sure that he is my brother didn't show any favoritism. So we asked various questions, like what is it in Preparatory song? Well, fortunately, I've been listening in his class, and I knew what it in Preparatory. Sell them was, but I don't know how David could sit down until the Lord, what's wrong here on Earth, and to fix it, but that's an imprint Kotori song, David calls in judgment upon his enemies and God's work against them. And that's important, but it's intuitive. Be interesting for me to know how he came up with that idea. I'd be interested to talk with the Apostle Paul. I think I'm going to have plenty of time to do that, and you will do, you know, if I think of a Bible class in heaven, I'd love to have the Apostle Paul teaching it. I try not to fall asleep, like your dick is dead. But anyway, the Lord knows about that, so it's important to understand that we will be called home to be with God. This is called the Blessed. Hope in Titus Chapter 2 verse 13, The Blessed hope. We have the Assurance of our future in Titus 2:13. It says looking for that blessed. Hope and the Glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ. Now, this is something else that we need to take. Just a moment to look at when hope is used in the English language. It is quite often in the subjunctive mode. That is it might happen, might not happen. That's not how I see you did. The scripture, the Blessed hope is an assurance of what's in the future. We look forward knowing that it will happen. It's not a matter of while. I hope this might happen. That's what we say in English. I hope it might rain. I hope it might stay dry. And we don't know either one, but it's going to do cuz we can't see you tomorrow. And it doesn't matter if we watched television weather, because they're guessing as well. Finally, and the. Once in awhile, it sneaks up on them, but we have the Assurance of knowing that when God promises something, it is a hole that is steadfast and sure, as the scripture says, it will always happen. It's so it's important to know that we have the Blessed. Hope the Glorious appearing of the great God In Our Savior, Jesus Christ. Now as a pastor for a number of years, I have conducted a lot of funerals. And one of the things I say, as words of commitment, at the end of a service, basically fourth tier 3 vs together, cuz I say looking for that blessed, hope and the Glorious appearing of the great. God, Our Savior Jesus Christ, who so change. These vile bodies and vacuum and mono is on glorious body. According to his mighty power, what she wrote in Christ, when he raised him from the dead. That's great, hopefully. A change of what you're suffering, a change of the pain in your body. All those things that trouble you a change of, I don't know. Maybe it's the first sitting. That's what whatever it is. God will make things perfect. I've never experienced perfect, but one day we will and that's the blessing hope. so, the question is, Are you looking for the trumpet sound? Have you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ? As your personal savior? Will you do it now? If you haven't? And how are you looking for the time? When go out of what we got us? Let's go. Visit prayer. Our Father. Thank you for the Blessed, hope that we have and knowing for sure that we will are believers in the Lord. Jesus Christ. Will one day stand in your presence. We will one day be perfect. We will one day arrived and Heaven at the same time as others. Have all of these things bother. You have promised for us as the Blessed. Hope I don't, we await that trumpet sound. They will gather us to our inheritance in heaven at the same time. That Israel is gathered to Adair inheritance on Earth. Thank you for the fact. Father, that even though they and the Earth will undergo tremendous judgment for the next seven years. The judgment is passed for us, the Lord Jesus Christ and taking the Judgment of our sins upon himself and died for those sins and paid the penalty. So the we will never be judged. We thank you for that father. We look forward to the day when you will come again in Jesus name. Amen, but I trust, the, do you know, the first verse of When the Roll is Called Up Yonder? If you don't know what, I'll just give you the words real quick, when the trumpet of the Lord shall sound and times will be no more in the morning, breaks Eternal bright. And fair want to save the first you'll gather, or on the other Shore. And the roll is Called Up Yonder. I'll be there and then the course Wallace. Let's Dance.

When the trumpet of the Lord shall sound and time shall be no more and the morning, breaks Eternal Pride and Joy Road.

What is product is called?

The roll is Called Up Yonder. I'll be there. Let me just say before I close them for that. If you don't know the Lord. And you can't definitely say that. When the roll is Called Up Yonder, I'll be there, we can show you from God's word exactly how you can know for sure. Say a word to someone that you know here who can lead you in that or can I find help for you or say a word to me, as you go out that you want to sit down and know about that will sit today or time at your convenience when we can speak with you about that. Let's pray, father. Thank you for your word. Thank you for the promise of your word. The fact that we should be together with you for all eternity, that you paid the price and we thank you for your son. Who is done, then we'll pray that he will continue to be with us here on Earth as we undergo. Various hardships. We ask for your help. Your grace that you will provide for each and every day. If we ask in Jesus name, amen. Thank you for coming. Come again.
