Proverbs 4:20–23 (NIV)
20 My son, pay attention to what I say;
turn your ear to my words.
21 Do not let them out of your sight,
keep them within your heart;
22 for they are life to those who find them
and health to one’s whole body.
23 Above all else, guard your heart,
for everything you do flows from it.
What Goes In Effects What Goes Out.
What we let into our mind will influence what we do and say.
The imagination is influenced by the informatiom we input into it.
Heart- Mind, Soul, Spirit, innerself ,
Guard It.- Keep watch, stand watch over, protect,
In & Out- protect the entry and exit. Let in whats good keep out whats bad. Let out whats good. Cast down whats bad.
Everything- it effects everything. Not somethings or most things. Everthing.
Flows Out- a spring or fountain that creats the flow of water.
Proverbs 4:23 (The Message) 23–27 Keep vigilant watch over your heart; that’s where life starts.
Water always represents the source of life.
John 7:38 (NKJV) 38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”
Living- Life not death, a lifetime of abundant life
Water- The rain that brings life to the earth.
Illustration- Coming to Yarrawonga after 8 years of drought. A dry and barrin land. But when the drought broke and rain came the transformation was remarkable.
Imagination- my imagination is the tv set in my mind. The channel I watch is the broadcast I choose to receive. I can chose to watcn Sbs, Abc, Seven or 9 network broadcast. we can watch Gods broadcast, the worlds broadcast, the devils broadcast.
illustration- politicians and political parties broadcast their vision or future they have for the nation. ‘if you vote for me this is the future i want you to imagine for you and your family’. Who would you chose to vote for? The politician who promises a bright future or the politician who promises just survival. People go with the one who they beleive will bring the brightest future.
TV Channels- promote different political parties qand leaders. Fox verses ABC.
