And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.

thronged - (1828) Crowded or pressed by a multitude of persons.
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
Here in this passage we see REFERENCES to the time.

“the press” denoted how big and forceful the crowd was.
28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.
It takes a great effort on a sickly woman to get to Jesus.
We must believe Jesus can.
We must find His will.
We must pray.
We must weight.

29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.
I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.
Did God do it?
How long was she healed of this?
Faith was not the object, Jesus was. V.30
30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?
The example of her faith. vs.31-34
31 And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
32 And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.
33 But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.
34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.
Conclusion:
When you are hanging on by a thread just make sure it is the hem of His garment! Amen!
