I pray that you will speak in and through everything that is done.

God.
We want you to be.
Not only here, but we want your presence to be manifest here.
We want your presence to be known.
Even sensed or felt at times.
And certainly believe, God, we pray against any powers of Darkness, that may seek to influence us through distractions or Temptations during the entire week of.
Especially during this time.
We pray for hedge of protection around us.
We recognized and affirmed the spiritual realm and we ask that you will intervene on our behalf.
And that we may see you for who you truly are today and each day of our lives in Jesus name.

That's basketball, NBA Steph, Curry /, Golden State Warriors.
I'm probably a fanboy like Fairweather sort of Fanboy if the Chicago White Sox are doing well.
I'll be a White Sox fan.
At least I wasn't 2005 for a minute when they won the World Series.
I was even rooting for them a little bit.
Then being the other Chicago teams are Cubs.
I didn't like them.
I never have liked them.
I never will like them, but I was pretty happy when they won because, you know, they want and I was in close proximity to them.
But there's just something about the Golden State Warriors are like, why didn't like the way they play?
But mostly, I like the way that they, they they seem to conduct themselves off the court.
In 2018-2019.
The Warriors had a chance.
For a three-peat for the NBA Finals.
They had a chance to win for the third year in a row.
However, they were riddled with injuries and the ultimately lost in the finals to the Toronto Raptors.
Steph Curry, dislocated his finger in the semifinals.
Kevin Durant had a calf strain in the semi-finals.
A ruptured Achilles in the finals.
No problem.
DeMarcus Cousins, tore his quadriceps.
In the first round of the playoffs in the Western Conference Finals.
Klay Thompson strained, his hamstring, and then tore his ACL in the finals and Kevon Looney fractured his collarbone in the finals.
It's hard to focus on the goal when everybody is injured muscle, much less being able to play the game.
Following the season in the playoff run that they had had.
It was hard to imagine all of those basketball Superstars being so injured that they couldn't even play.
Each of them look like they were participating in playing at their Peak levels, and some of them, unlike any that had played the game before them, or at least like many, Well, that's the funny thing about health, isn't it?
If we look at only one thing or one part of ourselves.
There can be other negative things happening in our bodies.
Kabbalistic, help.
We have to not just pay attention to the largest part of our body.
But then the smallest.
Disc.
Can cause us to fall to the ground in excruciating, pain or, or psychological trauma.
Can cripple us so that we can barely get off the floor.
Some days.
All parts of the body are important, stand for the reading of God's word.

As I finish with this is God's word as I read from 1st Corinthians 12, today, 12:12 and following for just as the body is one, and has many members in all the members of the one body though, many are one, so it is with Christ.
Four in one Spirit, we were all baptized into one, body Jews and Greeks slaves, and free, and all were made to drink of the one spirit for the body.
Does not consist of one member.
But as many, if the foot should say, because I'm not a hand, I do not belong to the body, that would not make it any less part of the body and that the ears should say, because I'm not and I do not belong to the body that would not make it any less a part of the body.
It's a whole body.
Where can I, where would be the sense of hearing that the whole body kit, where near where would be the sense of smell?
But as it is, God arranged the members in the body, each one of them, as he chose, if all were a single member, where would the body be?
As it is, there are many parts.
That one body.
Yeah, I cannot say to the hand.
I have no need of you nor going to head to the feet.
I have no need of you contrary.
The parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable.
And I'm those parts of the body that we would think less, honorable.
We bestow the greatest honor, and our unpresentable parts are treated with greater modesty.
Which are more presentable parts.
Do not require.
But God is so composed, the body giving great honor to the part that lacked in.
That there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another.
If one member suffers all suffer together, if one member is honored all Rejoice together.
Now, you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.
This is God's word.

We've been embarking on the last few weeks is in countering God.
Encountering, God, not simply meeting him, not simply thinking of him singing about him.
Budding countering him.
being brought up to the point where a decision has to be made about him about the Triune God, because you have met him.
We began a few weeks ago with Pastor John Mark talking about transformational beauty.
How true beauty when we encounter.
It is transformational and how the most beautiful thing.
That we could encounter is God himself.
We looked at.
How we can encounter God together through scripture and last week through his body, when we come and approach the table of communion that we together communion by participating, in Christ has one body.
And today, we come to the second part of that idea.
