Scripture: Psalm 32:6-8

Psalm 32:6–8 NIV
6 Therefore let all the faithful pray to you while you may be found; surely the rising of the mighty waters will not reach them. 7 You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. 8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.

Guide

Psalm 32:8 NASB95
8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you.
A person that gives direction to someone, influence the course of someone, the decision, takes the lead.
At times we seek out others that we think may be more knowledgeable than ourselves and sometime others look to us. We may fail, others may fail , but God never fail.
Proverbs 3:5–6 NASB95
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.
Isaiah 30:21 NASB95
21 Your ears will hear a word behind you, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right or to the left.
Isaiah 58:11 NASB95
11 “And the Lord will continually guide you, And satisfy your desire in scorched places, And give strength to your bones; And you will be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water whose waters do not fail.

Eye

Psalm 32:8 NIV
8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.
Proverbs 15:3 NASB95
3 The eyes of the Lord are in every place, Watching the evil and the good.
Psalm 33:18–19 NASB95
18 Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, On those who hope for His lovingkindness, 19 To deliver their soul from death And to keep them alive in famine.
1 Peter 3:12 NASB95
12 For the eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous, And His ears attend to their prayer, But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”
1 Corinthians 2:9 ESV
9 But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”—

Love

Psalm 32:8 NIV
8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.
Romans 8:37–39 NASB95
37 But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Conclusion: The Christmas Story

John 3:16 NASB95
16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
