Well, good evening, everyone. And this evening here. We would like to invite you to join us in communion. We are celebrating. You know, we always say that thing's giving communion or the Lord's, Supper is a Thanksgiving to God and every time we take it, it is our tankful Nest back to what God has done for us. What Christ has done for us. It is a memorial of Christ's death in the past and it is also a participation. We as Believers in Christ participate in the body and in the blood of Jesus Christ, the lord supper signify, the work of the Holy Spirit, not only do we participate but also it signifies. The work of the holy spirit in the lines of each and everyone of us. That is the present work of the Holy Spirit passed. It was the death of Christ. Present is this, it is the work of the Holy Spirit. It also symbolizes the unity of the body of Christ, the church. In all times and they're not all play and in all places and finally it seals and it seals the present and coming Kingdom of our God and Savior Jesus Christ. And so it looks beautiful in the face in the future of what God is going to do for each and everyone of us past. It's Christ that presence is the work of the holy spirit in the life of the believer and in future coming of our Lord and Savior. Jesus Christ, the lord. Supper. And when he had given times, he broke it and said, this is my body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me in the same way. Also, he took the cup after supper, and he said that he pours it. And unless you drink it. He says, drink it in remembrance of me for as often as you eat this bread and you drink the cup, you proclaim, the Lord's death until he comes. And then the Apostle Paul continue to remind us that whoever therefore eat the bread or drink the cup of the Lord. In an unworthy man, will be guilty concerning the body and the blood of the Lord. Let a person each and everyone of us here this evening. Our present than those, that are online. Let us examine ourselves. And then, so let us eat of the bread and drink of the cup. Anyone who eats and drink without Discerning the body eats, and drink a judgment unto himself. Therefore. Let us reclaim Our Fate as a sign and it's sealed in this Sacrament. I know why you would like to invite each and everyone of us, brothers and sisters each. And everyone of us all are welcome to partake. If you have examine yourselves and your peace with your neighbor and you have forgiven your neighbor, you are worthy to participate. These are the gifts of God for the people of God. The kingdom is sorry. For the Kingdom of Heaven, is like a master of a house who went out early in the morning to hire labor or for his vine yard after greeting, the laborers for a Denarius a day. He send them into his Vineyard and going out about the third hour. He saw her standing idle in the marketplace and to them. He said you go into Divine, you're too, and whatever is right. I will give you So they went going out again about the 6th hour. And the ninth hour, he did the same thing about the 11th hour. He went out and found the others standing and he said to them. Why do you stand here? Idle Aldi. They said to him because no man has hired us. He said to them, you go into the vine or two and when evening came the owner of the vine, your scepter, his Foreman. Call laborers and pay them their wages beginning with the last up to the first and when those hired about the eleventh hour theme each of them received a Denarius. No windows hired. First. They thought they would receive more, but each of them also received a Denarius. Turn on receiving a dick Grumble at the Master of the House. Sing the last worked, only one hour and you have made them equal to us. You've made them equal to us who have borne the burden of the day and the scorching heat, but he replied to one of them friend. I am doing. No wrong. Did you not agree with me for a Denarius? Take what belongs to you and go. I choose to give to the last worker as I give to you. Man, this week, we are continuing with our sermon series, the parable, The Parables of Jesus last week, brother Noel, or Pastor. Noel spoke from the Gospel of Luke on the rich, man and Lazarus, and the week before we had Mathews spoke on the problems of the weeds and power tripping, which is an a wonderful, a title for a sermon. And over these past several weeks. We have been blessed. We have been encouraged, by God's word, as we heard, The Parables of Jesus and present it. To us in many different ways as the Lord leads. So this evening here, we're going to continue with the problems of Jesus. And we are looking at the problems of divine, the labourers in the vineyard. So Jesus usage of Pablo was meant, like I said, several weeks ago, when I did an introduction to Powers who was meant to communicate a spiritual truth and the meaning of powers were given only to the disciples while the truth hidden from the outside of those that are outside of the body of Christ, the problem or the probables. We are looking at today. Like I said, sorry, the problem we're looking at today. Jesus used it to communicate one simple. Truth, or a simple truth about the kingdom of heaven. Something people, something people of Jesus's day. Find it difficult, brothers and sisters to comprehend, and even today, people cannot understand the meaning of these powers are very simply put, especially the power that we're going to look at here tonight. Understand the meaning of God, Sovereign, Grace, the opening words of the Kingdom of Heaven. It says, it says, the opening words of this passage that we read. It says that the Kingdom of Heaven is like A Master of the House or or in this case are the owner of the house for the Kingdom of Heaven is like a Master of the House. The same language is also used in Matthew's gospel chapter 13, several weeks ago. When we read this says that the Kingdom of Heaven is like unto a man, and you say this word like is always being used. It's like a formula Jesus. Give them something that they understood in their timing, in their age and he referenced add that to what the kingdom would look like. And he uses everyday languages, everyday examples, sorry, so that they can understand what he was talking about. But the understanding was barely four was really for the for the disciples are not for those who we, he was speaking about, they understand the normal operation of the day, but they did not understand the spiritual. The spiritual truth concerning these Parables. Only the disciples were able to comprehend. Matthew referred to the kingdom of heaven. And this is very unique about when it comes to Machu Machu. Will use the Kingdom of Heaven while Mack Wild while Mark the gospel of, Mark, the writer Mark reference, the kingdom of God. So when you read, Mark, you going to see Mark makes reference to the kingdom of God. While Matthew makes reference to the kingdom of heaven. Both are synonymous. The match you use in heaven, why did Matthew use heaven or not God? Because Matthew was writing to Jewish to Jewish audience. And as you know, Jewish people, I'll refrain from using the name of God, right? They refuse and they're very careful in using the name of God because they're in their, in their hearts and their minds. They do not want to use the lord's name in vain and Matthew was not going to make that same mistake in writing it to his audience. And that's the reason why you find troll in the book, Matthew will use the Kingdom of Heaven, because the people can relate to that, in his day. Matthew is the only gospel writer to recorded this. Parable. You can read Matthew, Mark, and Luke, and none of them will write concerning this problem. And when we look three weeks ago, we talked about that. Only, they did the synoptic gospel, writers wrote concerning The Parables of Jesus. John have no account of your problems of Jesus and are watching closely related to the conversion of the conversation that Jesus was having with Peter in chapter 19. So if you read chapter 19 before we reach after 20, you will see, it is a continuation from the previous conversation. That Jesus spoke. This problem after immediately after his encounter with the Rich Young Ruler, the Rich Young Ruler came to Jesus when he said, good Master, good teacher. What must I do that. I may inherit eternal life. Jesus said, go sell, all that you have on. The Bible says that he went away sorrowfully because he couldn't do. So. Jump Right In after Peter hard. And Jesus says, it was hard for those who enter into the kingdom. It is hard for a rich man to enter into the kingdom. It is easy for a story. It is easier for a camel to enter into the Kingdom of Ghana Richmond to go through the eye of a needle. And then Peter jump right into the conversation and asked the Lord immediately, after than the Lord, will sort of not rebuke. Peterbilt basically help him to understand. And if this problem was there to help the day, they it was mainly for Peter and the rest of the Apostles and the disciples to understand. Because Matthew 19:13 the ends with this word, but many who are first will be last and the last will be first and we see the same with the same thing that Jesus will say, in Matthew 20:16. So, the last will be first. And the first last As you read your Bible, you can pay attention to those little details. That in Matthew 1930 ends with the same thing that Matthew 2016 ends with the same words of Jesus, notas para presents, a typical scene of what it was like in the Jewish community and Jesus will not tell them something that they could not relate to something people in Jesus's day could could could understand what he was talkin about. Especially when he talks about viney. I didn't knew what it was. They were very familiar with Vine yards. Or Vineyards. Unimportant stuff for the Kingdom of Heaven is like a Master of the House who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his Vineyards. See, the master of the vineyard went out looking as the Bible, says, for Laborers. Know, where did he go? And look the scripture never give us a place exactly where he went to look. But it says that he went out to looking for Laborers in the first century in the first century. In Jesus's day. The master would Jesus ascended, Master have gone out to the marketplace businessman or owners or you know people who had work for others to do with go in the marketplace. The marketplace was the Central Square where all sorts of businesses are carried out on the laborers, would gather there to find work is the place where they going to wait and people would come and hire them. They were here. We're going there to wait in anticipation that business owners would come and hired him. And keep in mind that these laborers were not highly skilled man. They were not trained in a certain skill, but they will pick up any and every job that they will have. They were not, they were not skills treatment. They were not skilled as the Roman soldiers were. And so invoice, Deuces. After greeting, the laborers for a Denarius a day. He send them out in the vineyard. Now. This is very key for us to understand the master, which is the master registered in this Pablo. The owner went out just Before Sunrise when he did go out, he went out before sunrise and a Jewish working day is between, it is from sunrise to sunset which is 6 a.m. In the morning to 6 a.m. 6 p.m. In the afternoon, 12 hours in a day as you wish they'd in those days there working. It was 12 hours sunrise sunset. So they started today at 6 a.m. And the end of the day at 6 p.m. And the master went out first Just Before Sunrise, which is just before 6 and he met the first group of labourers and he offered them to pay them one Denarius. A Denarius know what is a Denarius, a Denarius is a day, which for a skilled Roman soldier. That's what they would pay a Roman soldier in that, in those days, one Denarius. Or a skilled worker snow. These are labor or they have no skilled and the master went out and he offered them one, Denarius the name Denarius if if you want to understand it a little more detail, Denarius device from a Latin word signifying Ken and one. Denarius at that time was the worth of 10 donkeys. So, can you imagine that when the master came and he offered the first, the first group of men that were standing there at 6 in the morning, here you come work for me and I will give you one pay, you one Denarius a jumper, the offer and they agree to work for 1 Denarius because they know it was more than what they deserve. It was more than what they were more than what they were the born with anyone else. And not only that were treated for seven set. The master went out for all the times that they 6 a.m. That was the first time. He went out for a Time study, for more laborers event of our, he went to the 6-hour, the ninth hour, and then the eleventh hour, which is at 6 a.m., Then he went out at 9 a.m. Event at 12 p.m. Event at 3 p.m. And the eleventh hour Wednesday, 5, p.m. Let me read verse treat you. And he says, I'm going about the third hour, which is 9 in the morning. He saw other standing idle in the marketplace. Idle, idle means that nobody was hiring them. They have no one offering them a job. I'm so damn. He said, you go into the wind, your to whatever is right. I will give you there's no mention about how much they were agreeing to pay Jesus. They were ready to work. They did not agree how much they want to work for. Do a happy to have the job. So they jump right to the opportunity and they went and work not. So with the first And then and then the master went out again about the sixth hour which is which is, which is now 12 p.m. And then he went out the ninth hour which is 3 p.m. And he did. So the same and about 11th Hour, which is 5 p.m., He went out and found order standing and these men were standing there almost the entire day and nobody hires them. There's nobody offering them work. Can you believe it standing all day looking for work? I mean that happens when there's a recession, what happened? When do strikes? When they're, when they're certain things that happen? We see that I am right here in Canada that people are looking for job and starting a job in Lyons Indiana, being hired and it's the same thing. But these men were not skilled, man. I'm a master set. The damn. Why do you stand here idle all day? Because no one cares. No, one offered him a job. I'm just up to him because no one has hired us. And he said that I'm going to Vineyard and work. So we have five groups of man, five groups of labor on 6 a.m. 6 a.m. 9 a.m. 12 p.m. 3, p.m. And 5 p.m. Everybody is working. I'm only one group of labourers agreed for a weeds, which is one Denarius, which is the first group, all the rest were working because they were happy to have a job today for the five groups of working away.

They're working away because they knew that they have a job. You see the first group of labourers, agreed with what was offered to them, the weight of one dinner. Then you that the weird like I said earlier, was reasonable. It was good so that they agree to work for 1 Denarius. As, for the other laborers, they were all standing idle. I know one came snow set which was given then. At the end of the day, everyone finished working, which was 6 p.m. Because they don't work after Sunset. Everybody came out for the money. And he rode horses says, I was 87. When evening came, when evening came. This is the end of the day, the owner of the vineyard Saturday form and he said that his Foreman or his supervisor call the laborers and pay them their wages. But there's one condition you start with the last the man, those who work at 11 on the eleventh hour, which is 5 p.m. If you paid those from 5 p.m. You pay 3 p.m. You pick 12 p.m. You pay 9 a.m. And then you pay the 6 a.m. To you start from the last time you pee everybody until you reach to the first groups that I hired. And windows hired about eleventh-hour came, each of them received one hour before 6 p.m. Received one Denarius. The guy that we bargain with an at 6 a.m. That he offered at 6 work all day for 12 hours and get one Denarius. And the guy got to work from 5 p.m. To 6 p.m. Get one Denarius. Is that fear for some reason guess what happened to the group of laborers who were hired at 6 a.m. Call toll for some reason hard that the guy that works only for an hour. Get the same amount of weight that he had. I mean, what would you do this morning that today, if you know that you want for one hour on the person that works at 12. I would get the same pee as you would. You get upset a man. If it's upsetting, it is not fear to return. The 4th reaction is going to happen at all, in our hearts, on mine. Would you do that? No, it's fear. It's unfair.

Hear what the scripture says. When those hired for scheming thought they would receive more, you see, they agree to receive one Denarius. But not when they saw the man that received one and he only work for 1 hour to 1 hour, give you one Dinero's 12. Then 12 hours would give you a Not 12, denarii is 12 denarii.

To decide what we are going to be very rich. We're going to have a very good sum of money. Hyundai Sonata says, when they went for the money, call the laborers and pay them their wages. Sorry, when did, when does Hyatt first came, they thought they would receive more but each of them also received a Denarius and receiving. If the end on receiving a bid grumbled. I've been Master of the house. So they left the foreman and it went to the Master of the House on the owner and they start the moment. They start the drama. They start to complain saying the last work only 1 hour and you have made them equal with us who have borne the burden of the day and the scorching heat. Did you see where they went to the master and his guy you are very unfair. You're paying them for one 1 hour. The same way that you're praying for us. We labor. We work. We have done all the labor for 12 hours. The other group, never complained that it for other group never complained. I know you find it first group is complaining and blaming the master for being on fear. But the master was very more than generous for those that did not work that the entire 12 hours because they never agreed on a set with. But yet, again, he was very generous with them. You see that did not deserve the way you do receive yet. The master was gracious with them. So, what was the response of who labored all day? We worked all day in the morning. Sun. We worked all day. We carry the bulk of the work and the Borden to get the work done. Does not sound familiar to some time. How we feel about how we are being treated in our workplace. It's not fear. We should not have been paid. We should have been paid more for labor. How many of them would have responded?

The same as this man. How many of us even though we agreed, even though they agreed to a fixed weight yet? They more more and yet they found time to complain.

When did look at others, doing less for more?

What was the Masters response verse 13, but he replied to one of them friend. I am doing you. No wrong. There is no Injustice with what I am doing. Did you not agree with me for a Denarius? Take what belongs to you and go. But look at the words that Jesus choose. I choose to give the worker as I give to you. He says I choose. It it was not your decision. It is my decision. Am I not allowed to do what I choose with what belongs to me. So I think I'd choose to do that. It is my money and I chose to do what I want with it. And I paid them what I believe they deserve you agreed on a certain portion, you agreed, you would come into an agreement and you agreed to work, 12 hours for one Denarius.

So, the last Jesus said, the last will be first, and the first last know who is to say that the Masters this evening was not being fear.

Go to be hired first. There was an agreement. Like I said, on the way it is. They agreed to be to receive while the others. Gladly took the work without agreeing on their way, if it's wage. There was no Injustice with the Master's decision to pay an equal weight to each of them on till the 11th Hour.

But he was generous that he pissed everyone of them. And he was compassionate that he offered work until 11 because nobody, you would go out and offer someone at 11:11 hour. One hour before 6, p.m. When the day is ending, and you still offered at work. He was generous, he went out for all the times when nobody else went out and he offered them work and he offered them, a decent wage. There was nothing to be unfair about or nothing to complain.

And all he said, was to the fore group was whatever is right. I will give to you. But what did he say to do to the group, the first group? Where's 15? Do you begrudge my generosity? Basically, this could be interpreted as, or is your eye evil, because I am good. So these men allowed a jealousy to fill their hearts?

When did Master offered to pay them one Denarius. They knew that in their heart that he was being more than generous at 6 in the morning when they look under saw that this master was offering them. One Denarius for an entire day with the new day did not deserve that. I knew that it was more than enough that he was giving them without knowing about the other liberals, they agreed. And I knew that it was more than enough for them. They did not deserve one Denarius. And yet again, they were happy to take the job. But when they saw the amount of money being paid to the other group, they have allowed jealous, Caesar, enter into the heart. Why? Such evil enter into the hearts of these men. Do keep in mind. That Jesus is not advertising. Let me see. It is this afternoon? This evening? Jesus is not advertising that this was a model of how people must be rewarded for a work. You pay everybody equal, whether they work all morning and then that can't happen in our DNA is right. And this is what that Jesus is his advertising. So don't do that. He was just trying to make it point. Is spiritual point in meaningful. Spiritual Point here. That's not what he's saying. Is that thing to pay everybody College? So, the point of the story is that Jesus teaching about a profound spiritual truth, about God's Sovereign, Grace. Hear me again, Jesus. Jesus is making a point or teaching about a profound spiritual truth, about God, Sovereign, Grace. And this is a dressing.
