Balm in Gilead & Relevant Worship is not called to be the typical Western Church

On the Hillsong Worship Album “For This Cause” Released in July 2000 is the song “Believe” that describes the typical Western (American) church. It begins with these words:

I say on Sunday how much I want revival But then on Monday, I can't even find my Bible Where's the power The power of the cross in my life?

Nicolaitane, comes from two Greek words: Nikao which means "to conquer': and Lao which means "the laity".

Nicolaitane means, "to conquer the laity".
