We further explore the idea that even though Israel’s monarchy was not God’s initial design, He used it to further His purpose of making Himself known. We also spend some time talking about God’s promise to David that a future son of his would be the one to build a house for the Lord and how the New Testament portrays the identity of the Church. We round out the discussion with a more detailed look at how essential a proper response to Christ’s lordship is to our eternal destiny.
